Horrible. Dishonest. Feel like I was taken advantage. Nothing they promised actually happened in terms of savings on our electric bill.

If I could give a -5, I would! I am fighting stage IV cancer and Posigen has given me the run around for a few years. Employees of Posigen inadvertently removed the solar energy panels from the roof of my residence around March or April of 2022. They were supposed to remove the solar energy panels from the roof of the house NEXT DOOR. In the process of removing the solar energy panels they damaged my roof when they pulled the lug nuts out of my roof. I have been communicating with your company ever since about getting her roof replaced. There was an agreement reached to replace the shingles, the felt and the damaged decking. The company you sent replaced the shingles but not the felt or the decking. There are now soft spots in my roof where the decking has deteriorated. Since the company you sent to repair her roof did not replace the felt or decking water intruded into my attic and has damaged the sheet rock, insulation and paint throughout my house. My home is now FULL of mold! This will need to be repaired and my possessions will need to be moved into storage while the repairs are being performed. They have destroyed my home! NOW MY HOME IS FULL OF MOLD read more

1 year later, still not working. installed 8-6-2024, they came out few times and everytime, system not worked properly EVER! Installed two (2) systems on my roof and: 1) Found bad meters 2) found one panel installed on roof was cracked 3) I saved $175 for entire year of solar 4) avoid giving them a credit card till it works read more

For everyone out there looking for Solar; whatever you do; DON'T get Posigen. First off, there systems are horrible. They are off line more often than on line. Then trying to get someone to come iut to take care of the problem is like pulling teeth . . . Without pain killers. Now I have been told the battery power I purchased from them and installed by them; is NOT covered by their 10 year maintenance policy. BUYER BEWARE!!! Going into the purchase none of this is being told to you; and frankly, you are persuaded that EVERYTHING is taken care of. NOT so my friend. They just got finished working in my system this morning. They told me that when the batteries get to 30%, it would cycle into a regular arrangement to make sure 50% of the battery power was available after dark, in case we loose power. Since the new configuration was setup., it has gotten to 8% and went into another mode. . . UNRESPONSIVE!!! Here in my house we call that broken. You tell me, do you think they will be out here tomorrow to try to fix it??? FAT CHANCE!!! Frankly, I am not sure they we'll ever come back to fix the system they installed on my home!!! They sure made it SEEM like their last call from them happened today. Any one wan to. But a SKIGHTLY used Solar panel and battery system???? If you want this stuff on your home, just give them a call. I am sure they will happy to set you up. But don't say you were not warned. read more

You can never reach anyone to address your issues! Your left on terminal hold! If you decide to wait it out then you're disconnected!

I own a licensed General Contracting company. These people installed solar panels on my home using a bunch of immigrants, and it's the shittiest workmanship I've ever seen in my 30 years in construction. My ceilings in my home is damaged and to date, they've done nothing to repair the damage. Sortly after the new year I will be suing them. Do not trust these clowns with your property, period! If I could give a ZERO star rating, I would! First Sam from Posi-Gen Solar came out and talked really well and showed documents about soar panels. After going over the documents and discussing with others, I contacted him back. Skip ahead. No name contact installers show up. While connecting to my electrical box, they decided to try to climb up on my A/C pipes attached to my wall. Well surprise! When I got home, no A/C. Contacted my contact A/C company, they cane out after 5pm and expirations someone used a step stool and tried to climb up and pulled out the pipe and wires to my system, $450 to fix. Contacted Sam and relayed my displeasure with PG and their hired installers and expected to get reimbursed and emailed him a copy of my paid bill. Heard from him maybe twice then silence. Problem two: power company has been emailing PG and me about their equipment not being rated high enough for the grid. Multiple emails by then and me and NO RESPONSE!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Part 2: move ahead four weeks from installation, a major storm comes through the area dumping a ton of rain. Low and behold, in the same area, the roof was damaged and it leaked into my home. Now I have mold and mildew in my master bedroom and master bathroom. These people were told about the issue and did nothing. Not surprised!! They were told to come and remove all of their products from my home. Never came. Their incompetence is costing me a fortune. Now I have to hire another company to remove their junk and toss it to the road. Oh yea, they sent an email with anther contact stating they'll come remove it IF I hold them without blame. YEA RIGHT. Not going to happen!! DO NOT USE POSI-GEN SOLAR read more

I can't believe I'm writing another update to this. But here goes. I discovered the a few days ago that my panels weren't producing any electricity and hadn't been since the beginning of 2022 (it's now mid April). It was the weekend, so I sent in an online web form contact thing. No one responded. I called on Monday. They promised a call back the next day. I remembered I had the CEO's cell phone #, so I texted him as well. He got back to me the next day. What he told me was really unbelievable. Or would've been with another company. For Posigen is was totally believable. He told me: 1. They came and replaced the meter on my house in January without telling me. So someone was working on my electric system and I didn't know. I work from home so I was likely here. 2. No one apparently tested the new meter to see if it was working. 3. Their monitoring system completely failed. Monitoring should've caught the failure, but (surprise!) someone was asleep at the wheel and never noticed until I looked closely at my Entergy bill (which I don't usually do as it's on autopay). CEO Man (Tom Neyhart) apologized again for another epic cock up and promised me more free service plus $500 in a gift card as an apology. But you know what? I don't want apologies. I want them to do their job right. read more

On August 2nd, 2024 I received a call from Posigen stating they were at my house checking my panels, I was away at the time. I spoke with the gentleman who told me he found an issue and needed to order a part and once it was in, he would contact me. That was almost 2 months ago. Well I have called, texted and emailed, I have not gotten any response. My Entergy bill is abnormally high for the last 2 months. why am I paying for solar panels that do not provide me with the cost saving benefits I was promised when I signed up? I will be looking for a way to get out of this contract. Posigen has lousy customer service and this isn't the 1st time I've been stressed by this company. if I could give it a minus 0, I would. read more

Love my solar panels! The install of the panels and equipment was quick! The rest of the hook up took like 9months! Also the way they let us as the user monitor and check on how much power we are Making and using SUCKS! They need to update this BIG TIME! read more

How do you get someone to come service your system? I keep getting BS answers. and cannot get ahold of a supervisor. Their customer care department is useless they all give you the same scripted answer. What is the point of having a system you can't use. I see the owner responds to comments maybe he should take some calls. read more

This company has been awesome ! Excellent customer service, industry knowledge, and smooth install. My energy bill was in $600 to $700 range every month then after my install my energy bill went to $200 per month. I would highly recommend this company. I wish I could give negative stars, but unfortunately that isn't an option. I bought a home last year with existing solar panels from Posigen and dealing with this company has been an absolute NIGHTMARE!!! After finally getting in touch with them to switch the lease into my name (after literally months of trying to contact them) they lied about the savings I would be getting. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! THIS IS A RIP_OFF and also one of the worst run/organized companies I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. read more

PosiGen - Solar Installation Near Me - Saint Rose, Louisiana

Would be less starts if that was possible. 45 minutes on hold every time. No answers for easy questions like what is the warranty, how much power production should I expect. Oh and when system wasn't producing funniest explanation I got was I should expect 7 days of snow a year in New Orleans ‍. read more

Once again Posigen delivers on nothing. Sold my home 3 months ago and gave all they needed for lease transfer. Transfer still not done but they do manage to keep billing me every month. Whatever you do, do yourself a favor and find another solar provider because there is no way any other company would provide such abominable service. PS the only reason there's one star is because there's no option for zero. read more

We got the solar panels around 2018. Leaking started occurring soon after they were installed. Someone was sent out to fix it. As soon as it rained low and behold still leaking. They sent another person and as soon as it rained it happened again. Then when we called again they said we couldn't prove it was their installation that caused the leaking even though we had no leaks prior. We had to have the problem fixed ourselves. Then in 2021 hurricane Ida hit. We had roof damage and needed a new roof. We contacted them to have them removed for the new roof. We asked if they could guarantee they would be put back on and installed correctly with no leaking. They said they couldn't guarantee that. So we requested once they were removed to just keep them and cancel our contract. The lady we spoke with said that would be a breach of contract. With my husband responding "Isn't it a breach of contract to leave customers with leaking roofs and not be able to guarantee your own work?" She then told us it would be $1800 to remove and another $2500 to cancel contract. We agreed and paid the money. That was October 2021. They soon removed the panels and hauled them away from our property. We still receive bills and texts every month since saying we are going to be turned over to collections for non payment. We talk with customer service and get told the same thing every time. Disregard disregard disregard. But it still happens every single month. Garbage company. Terrible customer service. Definitely do not have customers best interests as priority read more

it took almost a year to get things done, communication was horrible. no explanation of my options what so ever. they signed me up with the most convenient program, didn't tell me i could purchase the solar system and get the 30%. there were supposed to return after recommending insulation, NOPE 3 years with my solar system and little savings. Called last year, waited for the call that never came. Two weeks ago, called spoke with a very nice lady and I was told that someone was going to get back to me. NOPE nothing. WILL CONTINUE TO FOLLOW UP, and LIKELY WILL PUT A COMPLAIN AT THE BBB if nothing gets solved. read more

Showed up randomly before calling beforehand. We only knew they were installing it because we could hear them on the roof. The second time they arrived unannounced was with the guys who tested the sealants around the house to make sure the energy saved was what the company promised. They were nice guys and apologized for coming unannounced. But the second group who came there after they were done were highly unprofessional--just sat around "overseeing" the guys that were actually working. I'm still confused as to why they needed four guys to "oversee" the two guys doing their job. Besides being unprofessional, the price of our entergy bill was not drastic. We saved roughly $46/month. read more

We had a few bumps but Customer service went above and beyond to make sure everything came together. All details were thoroughly explained and I am looking forward to completing the installation so I can see all the BIG savings. Can't wait to get everything finished. read more

It appears that PosiGen is very responsive when it comes to sales, but you cannot get a call back when you need them come out to service your equipment. I have attempted to call on many occasions, and even asked the sales division to refer my calls and I have not heard from them. read more

I would also give this company less than one star. This company is a total rip off. Customer service is horrible and practices the technique of ignoring customers and unwilling to resolve any problems. My solar panels are not working and I waited on hold for 4 hours with no answer. Please avoid this company at all cost...also the solar panels does not lower your Entergy bills read more

The customer service experience has left a lot to be desired. It is impossible to get a response or clear answers. Have emailed and called several times with no response. For some reason it seems that Posigen either has poorly trained staff that cannot provide information or does not feel like customers need to be provided any informational materials. The entire experience has been a guessing game, but we are stuck in a contract. Granted 7 months later and we still do not have any solar panels online. read more

I am writing this review because maybe it will get them to take me seriously. We own our solar panels due to the fact that we won a class action lawsuit from another company who is now out of business. After Hurricane Ida we needed a new roof, the solar panels were still working and were saving us about $100 a month. We needed a company who could take down our solar panels to put up a new roof and then reinstall them. We paid 70% down. We were told that after the roof was put up another crew would come soon after to put our solar panels back up and reconnect them. Our roof was done in late December 2021. Our solar panels have been leaning against our shed since then, I'm writing this on March 19,2022. I was so excited that a crew with a PosiGen truck showed up today and the man asked me where the solar panels were and I showed him, one of the guys turned over the solar panels and asked me who did this and I told him PosiGen did. He said that they ruined them when they detached them because they cut the cord instead of simply unplugging them. I am so aggravated because after all this time of paying $100 more on my electricity bill since the solar panels were not attached, now they are ruined. They said they'll be back next week to try and fix them. I would like the CEO of PosiGen to know about this. We were told so many dates to do this and after so many phone calls and lack of communication and then I get phone calls from someone representing the company who wants to come and get the rest of the money that we owe. I am not paying any more money until either my solar panels are fixed or they will give me new Solar Panels and also $100 for every month I am without Solar to compensate for the electric bills. I am so disgusted. I do have to say that some of the people I have spoken to were very friendly and are probably frustrated as well as some of this is out of their control and are just answering the phones. I was promised several times a call back and many times never received the call back. The new roof seems to have been done well but the only reason we even called PosiGen in the first place was because we assumed they knew what they were doing regarding the solar panels. I hope to follow-up with another review soon and hope that it will be a positive one. read more

PosiGen did everything they said they would do, within the timeline they proposed. There were no surprises or "add-ons" to deal with, which I greatly appreciated. Responses to my questions/concerns was always complete, timely, and professional. From sales to installation - great people to work with. Since my Solar install my energy cost has dropped tremendously, this past year I've spent an average of 24.00 a month compared to 145.00 a month for utility cost prior to Solar. Since my install March 2014, I have learned a lot about energy savings measure such as; changing my AC filters monthly, investing in power strips, energy appliances, controlling the temperature within my home. My install process went smoothly, with install, inspection, net meter, energy upgrades, and activation. The customer service department is very friendly and helpful, they answered all my questions and concerns. This has been a positive experience and I share my experience with anyone I meet that has questions regarding Solar. read more
