I have made the incredibly difficult decision to close Geshon's Deli & Caterers. Friday, January 30th, 2026, was our final day. This decision was not made lightly as Gershon's has been an integral part of my life since I was a little girl. After my father's untimely passing, I took over with one clear mission, to honor his legacy, keep his dream alive, and continue providing quality service and "good food for good people." She proceeded to come in, take my order and make my coffee without washing her hands. Very unsanitary. Today right before noon myself and two friends tried the Jay Street location. A man came to the register, I assumed to take my order. I began to say my order. He said in a tone "I'm clocking out." Proceeded to do so got himself a drink and walked away. I felt that to be very rude. He should have taken our orders then left. But I will say that the older lady who did help us was very personable and the young man cooking made us a nice lunch so luckily it ended on the positive. Buds, I think some of your staff could use customer relations and hygiene information.
