I have had to look for new gals when my long-time hair stylists have gotten married & moved, etc. I saw the Facebook page for Lotus Studio 38 and was impressed that ex-Aveda stylists had their own business. I booked with Rea, and although I'm not a twenty-something gal, I did want a rocking new look that would come across as still professional at work. She worked with my schedule and let me book on a Saturday. Since the salon is so private, it was great, no chattering of other stylists & clients. Just her and I in a little tranquil place, may sound corny but with my hectic life, I treasure any quiet. She lifted my dirty blonde hair to a cool platinum shade, and did a great smoothing cut. My hair was in better condition than when I arrived with her deep conditioning treatment. It's been 3 weeks, and my color has lasted and my hair texture has not gotten "noodley" when stylists overprocess. I figured it would be best to do a review honestly after my appointment has passed and I could wash out my hair on my own and see what my hair looks like when I do it myself! So, I am pretty excited that taking a chance paid off. I'll be back in a week to do a root touch-up, and I hope she stays local to me.
