From the first point of contact I was impressed. Communication involves immediate responses. The show room treatment is impressive. I just moved to the Desert Rancho Mirage and am making many improvements and this is the best use of money I've made. These sola lights in my bathroom or amazing and the value is incredible. Another company quoted me twice the amount. Sergio the installer is extremely competent as is Vivian and Matthew. They sent me all doc needed to my HOA to expedite installation. I super highly recommend Sola-Lite and am recommending them to my family and friends. The natural light yielded to my two bathrooms is amazing and flows onto the hallway and bedroom. Clean up was automatic didn't even have to ask. They arrived on time and finished project in record time. This company is 12 out of 10. I highly recommend. read more

After many years of ignoring the very ugly and aged skylight in our family room, I set out to find someone who could replace it for us. Fortunate for me, the first call I made was to Sola-Lite Inland Empire and spoke to Vivian. I explained to her that the old skylight in our 1976 house needed help. With the information I gave her, she new exactly what we had and how they could fix it. Within one day she arranged to have one of the best service persons we've ever had, named Alex, come and complete the job. Working with Vivian and Alex was such a pleasure. Great customer service, they know their products and it was a good price. We love our new sky light! read more

Just had two skylights installed today in our cathedral ceiling. Crew arrived on time (even early, but did not bother us), worked quickly and fairly quietly (my toy poodle didn't even bark much) and completed the job quickly. Would definitely recommend them and use them again! read more

Fast. Neat. Timely. Professional. I have been trying to fix something and had five or six false starts. Finally I called Sola Lite. They sent someone the same day. Fast, reliable and professional. While trying to remove lens for cleaning, I unknowingly removed screws that secure frame to ceiling. I also dropped and broke the diffuser lens. I had to call in the professionals! Vivian took my call, scheduled appointment to assess and give estimate. Sergio came out same afternoon (fast) and gave fair estimate to replace bottom tube with new ceiling ring and diffuser and lens. Alex completed the repair the following week. Excellent work - again fast, reliable and professional. Thanks Sola-Lite! read more

During the most recent winds, we had one of our domes fly off and it shattered on the ground. My neighbor helped seal the opening with a "trash bag doo-rag, using duct tape." I placed an inquiry with Sola-Lite and they had me set for an appointment on Monday the 27th. Since we are going to get rain, we were a little concerned. This morning, Vivian called to inform that a technician had been alleviated and that he could swing by in 15 minutes. I was elated and I agreed to meet with Manny to see if they could assist. When he arrived and assessed, he disclosed that our products differed from what they offered. Nevertheless, Manny stated that he could attempt to install their dome & frame at the roofline so we would not be exposed. He did just that and he even reinstalled the inside mount after we took it down for cleaning. In just that one night, we had some debris and sand in there. Now, we are as happy as a lark. Thanks for the AMAZING service. read more

Absolutely the best customer service and all around people to work with. To start, Vivian, is a ROCK STAR. She handled every detail. Sergio and the guys, ROCK STARS!!! They were so nice, efficient and kept the space clean. It is so nice to work with a fantastic team like Sola Lite. The 14" tubes are beautiful and changed the space in our Indian Wells project. read more

Last week, I had a solar-tube installed by Sola-Lite. During the process Vivian Buentiempo-Johnson worked with me to get HOA approval, permitting, and scheduling; and, Sergio Vega was responsible for an estimate and installation. I was (and still am!) so impressed with how helpful, patient, customer-oriented, honest, and generally wonderful to work with Vivian and Sergio were. I initially planned to have a solar tube, a whole house fan, and an attic fan installed. Due to the downturn in the economy, I decided to wait for the whole-house fan. Despite the possibility of prices going up, Vivian was gracious enough to send me another quote that would be good for the rest of the year. Her doing so made it more likely that I will be able to purchase a whole-house fan in a few months. Sergio, was also amazing. After looking at my attic, he gave me his honest opinion that an attic fan would be useless. My disappointment was greatly tempered by my relief that, thanks to Sergio, I would not waste money on a useless device. Despite difficulties created by the structure of my home, Sergio did a wonderful job installing the solar tube and cleaned up so well after I did not have to vacuum. Although possible, I doubt that Vivian and Sergio are the exceptions at Sola-Lite. I strongly suspect that Sola-Lite hires exceptional people and treats every customer with the respect, kindness, honesty, and professionalism I received. Based on my experience with Vivian and Sergio, I strongly recommend Sola-Lite. By the way, I love my solar-tube as I no longer need to turn the lights on in my office during the day! read more

I had a great experience with Sola-Lite! I had a crack in my skylight and had no idea who to call. Someone even told me to call a roofing company. I saw the ad for Sola-Lite and called. They were very helpful and told me they could help. I made an appointment for the next day. Matthew cam out. He was on time and quickly looked at the broken skylight. Matthew said he had replacements in stock and could fix it the next day. Sergio came out and replaced the skylight. I thought I was going to have a problem getting it fixed. Sola-Lite did a great job and it was easy. I highly recommend Sola-Lite. read more

We had our first tubes installed about 17 years ago and decided to add another. It turned out that the older ones were so old and were beginning to deteriorate. So we upgraded to the newer system and added a fourth tube. What a dramatic difference! Everyone that I dealt with couldn't be nicer! Sergio Diaz did a fantastic installation and left the place spotlessly clean on completion. Pricing for products and installation was reasonable. B. Ninan read more

We just completed the installation of solar tubes and could not be more pleased with Sola-Lite and their crews. The product is well priced and they stay with their estimates. The installation crew was on time, very professional, and explained what they were doing (along with custom work to fit field conditions.) and followed with clean up. read more

Sergio and Manny did an awesome job with the installation of my sola-lite roof fan. Sergio was on time and did great work, everything looks great. Manny was excellent in helping preparing the bid and evaluating what needed to be done. The Sola-Lite fan unit is already cooling my garage and I couldn't be happier. 5 stars all the way!!! read more

I've had a attic fan placed in our home where it's hottest which is garage and the kids rooms. First visit with Sergio was quite Informative but after the consultation we were happy with our choice to have the Attic fan installed and it had made a big difference in the temperature and the A/C doesn't turn on unless I lower them temp because of my hot flashes which the system cannot fix ,but I can say I've been comfortable going into the garage because it isn't as hot as it used to be and we do not need to open the garage door which invites the critters. Will get sola tubes placed on the 6th of July will definitely post pics as the project is complete.. Vivian was so pleasant and informative about pricing and what u really need installed. They do not sell you anything u don't need and there's no hard sell tactics.. read more

Rather than having an attitude being the only dealer in the valley, everyone associated w/ Sola Lite, were wonderful to work with! On time, every time. For the estimate. For the installation. Sola-tube and attic exhaust fan. Sergio and James were both awesome. Explained everything. Took the time to discuss options. Very clean for the installation work. Vivian in the office is a sweetheart. We had them come back to change the light from the round to the new square and it was the same super experience! Wish our experiences with other trades were even half as great as this. And the products are excellent too. read more

We needed a little more 'light' in darker hallways in our condo. Vivian was exceptional in explaining things over the phone and delivering all information and bid-options. I visited the 'store' and met Matt -- great visuals and explanations!! I set an appointment for installation. Manny and Sergio came for the installation -- Sergio had experience with our type of roof -- and Manny took over in the most professional way!! His explanations of what he was doing and how were awesome. He took pictures from the roof and I watched the installation from 'inside'. He could not have been more protective and respectful of our unit during his work and was so pleasant to have around. I could not be happier with the quality of material, the process and the people. Might I say, great Midwest Values that speak volumes. Pricing is a great value as well. They were great in helping us decide what we 'didn't need' as well. THANK YOU !! Thank you!! read more

Had 2 tubes installed yesterday. James came with appropriate materials. He was professional, knowledgeable and left a clean work area. He took the time to explain each step as he was working on it. Great product and great workmanship. Good job James! read more

We have 3 light tubes in our house that were put in several years ago by a different company offering a "life-time" warranty against roof leaks. With this most recent storm we noticed leaking in one of our lights. The same company who did the initial install came out and looked stating that the dome was cracked and it would be $1600 for the repair (which is even more than the original install of all 3). He didn't offer any explanation as to why the cost would be so high. I contacted Sola-Lite after doing a Google search for our area. They came out, did the check on the light and confirmed that the dome was indeed cracked. The tech caulked the dome and told me the only way to prevent it from leaking for sure was to actually replace the tube (the design had been changed from the original one to make it all one piece) but that the caulking would work for now until we could afford to fix it completely. The tech made sure I understood all that way involved and what would need to be truly repaired in the long run but was up front and honest about it all. The most impressive part of the entire thing was that he approached the whole thing with integrity and didn't even charge for the service call. When the time comes, we will be contacting them to make the final fix. :) read more
