Excellent Stucco Contractor. Service date: June 3, 2026. Working with Steve Urquidez, Owner, and his professional crew was a pleasure. The crew promptly arrived at our scheduled appointment time (even a bit earlier). They completed the project in a superb and timely manner while artfully duplicating my home's existing stucco texture and pattern. Their quality of work amazed me. My rating for this contractor: 10 out of 10. Joel W., Cathedral City, CA read more

I had replaced my windows and never really did a proper job stuccoing around them, and a hose bib that was a hole in my wall, as well as my patio door, was starting to crack under the sill. I talked with Steve from Stucco Dr and he kindly worked through several estimates with me, including price and finish. His crew showed up three days in a row at 8 am on the dot and did an amazing job. It was noisy the first day as they took the old stucco off around the windows, but they did a great job keeping everything clean. I contacted them on the second day to have another part of my wall taken care of, and they handled that as well. I am very happy with the job they did, and highly recommend them. read more

Steve was great from start to finish. Responsive to my inquiry, flexible in scheduling & went above & beyond to complete my tiny project. Really appreciated his willingness to do the unexpected extras to provide an excellent finished product & pleasant experience. Thank you so much! Would highly recommend Steve & Stucco Dr. read more

We had Steve with Stucco Dr. just finish redoing the stucco in our atrium. We had old 70's ugly stucco. He came out, gave us an estimate, worked with our schedule and gave us a great price compared to everyone else. He was very responsive. The finished job looks amazing! The finish is a smooth finish stucco finish that has the look of Venetian plaster. Beautiful. His workmen, Burt and Burt Jr were professional, took extremely good care with protecting everything in the house (they needed to come through the house to get to the atrium) and totally cleaned up after themselves. They were great. I highly recommend Steve and Stucco Dr. if you need stucco work. Thanks Steve! read more

I've worked with Stucco Dr on two projects and can't say enough about their professionalism and the quality of their work. Steve and his team show up on time, work cleanly and the level of communication from start to finish is exceptional. I would not hesitate to work with Stucco Dr again. read more

As other reviewer wrote, great front end work, estimate, scheduling was great. We had to delay cleanup because of a funeral. Unfortunately they never followed through on cleanup (stucco drips on glass, unfinished edge next to door & patio floor, damaged our hose) was poor, never showed up to do it despite 3 tries. read more

Great work by Lorenzo, the fellow who came all three days and did the work alone. Professional, knowledgeable and hard working. He did a great job and I am very pleased as all my requests were met. read more

Excellent work at a very competitive price! Our HOA was happy with the work and so were we!

Did a great job matching existing stucco. A little messy covered a cactus plant with stucco could have used plastic to protect it.

A Doctors exam with a happy ending. I am a spa. My stucco has been a flaky, itchy bubbly mess! It was embarrassing to have friends comment as they got in me for a soak. The diagnosis was made and surgery scheduled for the next day. After preparing the site with tarps and masking tape, a large scraper was used to remove my unsightly coating. Special fillers and adhesives were applied to my scarred surface and expertly smoothed. I was allowed to dry overnight and prepare for tomorrow's procedure. Troweling on thenew stucco was a pleasant experience, I could see the new me! This is one Doctor that knows how to treat a patient. Five Stars. read more

It was time to repaint my house (over 15 years since the last time) with tons of cracks, flaked paint and bubbles, and just generally horrible shape. Absolutely needed to get the stucco repaired first. Steve, the business owner, was able to visit me promptly several weeks ago to look the job over. I found him to be extremely professional and easy to talk to, but was surprised by his level of candor. There were some things he could help with, but others he told me will recur because of structural design issues - and he told me that some things I wanted to be done would probably be a waste of my money. It was also like he was talking me out of spending the money, because he just wasn't going to blow smoke to make a sale. Fortunately, I resolved to use his company for the many cracks and bruises my west facing two story home had accumulated while following his advice about what he couldn't fix for the longer term. And, I wanted it done fast and before the heat began in earnest. He was able to schedule me in with 2 weeks notice and his workers just finished over a week of work here. These guys were so professional and polite. And worked their butts off. Just outstanding workmanship. I'd give them 10 stars if I could. I tipped the workers because I was so impressed, and actually grateful. I am a 60 something year old divorce attorney with a pony tail. I'd become pessimistic about the 'youngers' - you know, world going to crap, blah blah. Steve and his workers are just top notch. Oh - the cost of their work was so fair, and the quality so good, I do feel I got a good deal. Not a common feeling anymore! ALSO, I used RJ who owns Osborne Painting out of Beaumont, CA, (https://www.yelp.com/biz/osborne-painting-beaumont) - (951) 214-1746 to do the exterior painting. They've worked alot with Steve, and using the two companies together was seamless and so easy. Steve got in, and while he was working RJ got in, and then Steve finished up and RJ is finishing up. This kind of teamwork saves money, but more important to me - gets them in and out fast and my life back! TWA read more

These guys were great - quick turnaround, reasonable prices, and a job well done. Their weep screed and stucco repairs kept my house dry after the tropical storm. Will definitely keep them in mind for future work. read more

We contacted Steve for his help and advice on a small repair. He went out of his way to respond right away, provided a detailed up-front estimate, and had his crew on-site the next day. Anthony, the stucco technician, is an artist, perfectly matching and blending the repair area into the existing finish. They did the work quickly, completely cleaned up afterward, and left us with smiles on our faces. Professional, personable and very competent - we could not have asked for better, and strongly recommend this company to anyone needing stucco work. read more

A long overdue review of another family owned business in the desert. Steve and his father George have done work for me for years. Every time they are prompt to respond and offer reasonable prices for the skilled service they provide. Regardless of job size, they approach it with the same attitude. The crew is always on time, respects and protects the property and provides quality workmanship. Despite the grueling temperatures they remain upbeat and take pride in their job. Steve's customer service and professionalism is true five star; if he was a general contractor I would hire him for all my projects. read more

Was pushed to voice mail and the mailbox was full. It is now noon. I'll leave it to you to decide. Seems to be a scheduling mistake...met with him today. Seems very knowledgeable. Anthony the plaster did a good job overall and a great job with texture match the repair will be painted but he got the color really close. I can't say enough great things about this company and their wonderful staff. I had a bad experience with a botched window install , because of inaccurate measuring I had to resize the exterior openings to close the gap between my new EXPENSIVE CUSTOM windows and my stucco exterior. Needless to say I was upset, Steve and his highly skilled work crew fixed my problem quickly(even though they are swamped because they are THE BEST!) My home actually looks BETTER than it it before the window company screwed it up. Thank You ,Thank You, Thank You, Stucco Dr! If you want a job done RIGHT, call Stucco Dr first!! read more

The Stucco Dr was the most professional contractor I have worked with in the desert. We had them do a large patio covering ceiling and posts. They were competitively priced. They came by the day after I called for an estimate. I received it that evening! The whole crew came by the week before the job to access how they would do it. They started the day the said,, it took exactly the amount of time they said. They took extra care to cover and protect areas they were working near and did a great clean up. They seemed to take pride in doing a good job and we are very picky. I would use them again for any stucco job large or small. read more

Needed help fast! Steve and Jennifer took care of our job quickly and professionally. Would highly recommend!! Thank You!

I had removed two windows that the previous contractor had not completed and quit communicating or showing up. Great job of repairing damaged stucco walls and matching the existing stucco. Looks good. I thought the price charged was very high (one worker for two hours was $1700.00). Could have done a better job of keeping stucco material from getting on patio furniture, landscape gravel and some windows. read more

New outdoor light fixtures were installed, but their mounting plates were considerably smaller than the old ones. The old mounting plates were hiding a lot of gaps and holes, which had to be filled and then finished with stucco to match the walls. All of this work was done spectacularly well by Anthony, including building a new lath backing in the largest hole. Anthony also did a perfect color match to the surrounding 30-year-old stucco. All of this work was done without removing the light fixtures. Anthony was effective, efficient, professional, and friendly. Even with the unexpected lath work, Steve (the owner) stuck by the original estimate. I can't recommend these people highly enough. read more

We had a long crack in or stucco wall. Steve came out and quoted a reasonable price for the repair. A few days later, Andy arrived to do the repair. He protected the area around where he was working and cleaned up afterwards. The repair itself was excellent. He had to scrape a fair bit of loose stucco off and when he re-stuccoed the area he matched the existing stucco perfectly. Once I repaint the wall you won't be able to tell that a repair was made! I definitely would recommend Stucco Dr. read more

We had the Stucco Dr repair our covered patio ceiling. It was cracked and peeling on the seams. They cleaned out all the seams, filled them with a different material, ground it all down to a smooth, even finish. We just completed having it painted and it looks great!! Can't tell where the seams were. Thank you for showing up on time, completing the job the same day, and being so tidy! We couldn't be happier with the Stucco Dr.'s work. read more

The Stucco Dr did two projects for me in the last few months at my home in Bermuda Dunes Country Club. One was a stucco repair job and the other was applying stucco to my cinder block walls in my pool area. In both cases their prep work was meticulous and the finished product was excellent. Steve's (one of the owners) crew of tradesmen always arrived on time and worked together to create a very cohesive efficient production line. The cleanup after job completion was also excellent! They are a multi generational family business that truly cares about pleasing their customers and taking pride in their finished product. I highly recommend them. Eddie T read more

These guys have all the equipment and skills to do a great job. They just didn't have the time to do a great job. It was a rush from the beginning. They were not good at matching the color because their hurried mixing methods changed with each batch of stucco. Consequently, my home is patchy - correct color here, incorrect color there. They told me it would dry an even color. No such luck! read more

As a local construction manager for many homes, Steve and his crew have always done a great job for me, and my clients. They are in my "A" list of subs to call on! read more
