The service at SOL is impeccable, and no where else in Denver can you find gorgeous lingerie that they will select just to fit you. Also, they've made parking super easy with spots out back and in the nearby garage if the metered spots are taken. I am usually intimidated my such a high-end shop, but the sales lady was very nice and made us feel super welcome. We weren't there to drop a ton of money just get a few quality pieces. This review is not based on the quality of their products, but on my first experience in the store with their service. I went in for the first time to get underwear for a friend for her wedding night. When I tried to explain to the salesperson with reddish/brown hair, she was extremely condescending and rude. The way she spoke to me was with such irritation, I wanted to leave the second I spoke to her. When I asked if they had anything that was somewhat beachy (because my friend is getting married on the beach, she practically laughed at me and kept using the phrase, "We here at Sola, are thinking of our clientele in Denver and that is not beachy!" I felt like Julia Roberts in "Pretty Women" except I am not a prostitute and I have money. If I knew she wasn't there I might go in, but my first experience was not great based on her rudeness. read more

I give 2 stars for the snide customer service I received when calling about a billing discrepancy. The woman I spoke with over the phone was rude. No better than Victoria's Secret! This shop may have gorgeous lingerie and excellent customer service, BUT, if you want to be properly fitted for a bra or would like to have trust in what you are buying, look elsewhere! I have learned the painful way that SOL is more concerned about selling their products than ensuring their clients are correctly fitted. After such great reviews, I came to SOL to be fitted for a bra after having lost 95 pounds. Obviously, my breasts have changed throughout the process, and I was looking for proper support so my breast skin could heal like the rest of my body. I had no frame of reference on where to start, in fact I was in a sports bra. My fitting consultant was very personable, and she made me comfortable. Without any measurements, she quickly deemed I was around a 36D. At first I was very happy to see my gals up where they should be. I loved that their bras had great structure and the bands did all the work. Everything seemed to fit good except for the fact that I had extra tissue spilling over the sides of the bras. My fitting consultant convinced me that we all have a little extra up there, and that the tissue spilling out was just "extra skin." I eventually left with 2 bras, and thanked them for the wonderful shopping experience. WELL, as the day continued on, I was constantly having to re-adjust myself in the bra. I began feeling squeezed, the straps kept falling off despite adjustments, and the band would roll up when I sat down. After wearing it for 7 hours, I had to take it off because my back was in so much pain that the muscles had actually started to spasm!!! I had to apply ice for the remainder of the evening, and I was in horrible pain with limited range of motion the next day!!! During the time in which I was icing my back, I had plenty of time to research signs of ill fitting bras as well as various ways to measure oneself. After a few hours of reading, not only was it obvious I was not wearing the correct size, but that I should be starting in the 34FF/G range(UK). With that knowledge in mind, I headed over to Nordstrom Rack, picked up a lovely lace navy blue 34FF, and WOW!! I have never in my life worn a bra that felt like it was made for me. In fact, it barely feels like I am wearing anything at all! It does not budge when wearing it either. The band stays parallel to the ground and does almost all the work with no back fat. The straps do not dig into my shoulders nor do I have issues with them falling off. The gore is flat on my chest and stays there even when I lift my arms. The "extra skin" I had spilling out, in which the fitting consultant explained was normal, is actually displaced breast tissue that has been pushed back and up from wearing ill fitting bras. With the correct bra size, the cups actually hold all of my breast tissue, and even pushes the tissues that have been displaced, back towards the front and into the cups where it should be. Best part of all, I got the bra on clearance for $40. Needless to say, I will be demanding a full refund from SOL. read more

I absolutely love this store and have been a faithful customer for almost 10 years. They really go the extra length to get the exact right fit and not just by sizes because all bras and people are different. They have told me even if the bra is made in my size it does not mean it was made for me, and they were right. I have rather large breasts and for my back and shoulder not hurt is in it self a great reward. They give you the education to how a bra should be worn and where, how is should be washed and worn. I have the same bras I bough 5 years ago still and in great condition because of what they have taught me and most of all the quality of the bra itself. Price wise compared to the quality and what you get it it really is moderately priced. I have spent $80 on a bra before that last all of 2 months before my boobs started sagging again. Just a quick update. I've been faithfully shopping here for a few years, through pregnancy and nursing too. The customer service has only gotten better. I've been in so much in the past 12 months that I feel like everyone knows me, and my baby. AND, they claim to love seeing her...a moving, chatty, loud baby and the staff embraces that. It's a great feeling to not have to cringe when a baby does as babies do, and still feel like I am a worthy customer. I really can not recommend this place enough. And...if on the off chance you have a negative experience (which I don't see happening), give them another try, and voice your concerns. They will make any wrong right. Five stars for knowledge, service, return policy, alterations, value and friendliness. (And there's two parking spots for customer use in the alley behind the store, just knock on the door.) read more

This place is wonderful. It can be weird getting sized for a bra, but they are so nice here. It's like hanging out with your best girlfriends. Once I bought my first Marie Jo bra here I realized what a difference a great bra makes. I will never go back to Victoria's Secret. $100 for a bra is a lot, yes, but your clothes will look better, you'll be more comfortable every day and they last- the quality is there. read more

I've been to SOL three times in the past few years and I am definitely an advocate for wearing the proper bra. Lately I have suspected my bras of not fitting like I should (im spilling out); so i made a trip to SOL for a remeasure. I was right, so the associate sized me in a 34D. Frankly my breasts had no support, the cups felt baggy and too big. If i had put a shirt on...well i really dont want to think about what a disaster it would have been. I want a great bra that is going to give me a little perky lift in a t shirt and a blouse (im not that big/a32DD currently). I would've really liked to have been measured with a tape measure as well versus just a visual measure. The strange thing is a 34D IS the sister size of a 32DD and i have been told two times previous that my 32 was fine. I also weigh about 15-20 lbs less than my last fitting. When i asked the associate what bras would be my best fit, she told me that it was impossible to tell me since all bras fit differently (I know this). She wouldnt even give me a brand to start with (i own panache, freya, wacoal, la mysterie, etc bras so i know my brands) or where to look. I kind of felt like "if youre not going to buy anything then you're not worth my time". Honestly im a young woman just trying to do the best by my breasts. I don think i will be returning to SOL anytime soon, back to doing my research :(. read more

These women are absolutely amazing. I came in for a bra fitting in the middle of a bridal dress crisis. Out of the kindness of their hearts not only took care of my bra fitting but went above and beyond to help me fix my wedding dress at the eleventh hour. Great bras, great people. I was beginning to feel like a freak shopping for bras, and a bustier was out of the question. UNTIL I stopped at SOL. Most places I have tried don't stock my size, but here they had plenty to chose from. Their stuff is pricey, but it is also top end, and a quick check after I got home shows that the product cannot be found cheaper on line. I was nervous after reading other reviews, as I tend to be a bit body shy, and although I was handled a bit more than I am generally comfortable with, the sales associate I worked with was extremely professional. I had a bra fitting with Sandy. At first I was very nervous as this was a new experience for me but Sandy really made me feel more relaxed and answered all my questions. It's amazing how she was able to determine my bra size and cup size so precisely without using a tape measure! I was totally blown away! She found me some great bras and helped me narrow my choices down to one that looked and fit the best. I walked out of there with a very pretty bra (prettiest one I've ever had) but also the most expensive one I've ever bought! They are by no means cheap but their bras are high quality and so is their customer service, something's are worth it and girls every women deserves at least one beautiful and expensive bra! I love this store!! I would recommend it to anyone!! I will admit it is pricey but I guarantee once you begin shopping there you will find ways to save and go back!! I was nice when I was gone for several months to call and they mailed me bras without me looking at them they were all great!! I've shopped at SOL for years but my most recent experience was very disappointing. Since I no longer live in Denver, I was excited to stop by with my mom and purchase several new bras. This is my second time visiting SOL in person (I live in Steamboat, so usually do web or phone orders), and it happened to fall on Daisy Day. It was a very fun, festive event and I am so happy I was there for it. SOL has been my go to place for bras, because of the amazing service you get there. I am pregnant, and needed to be fitted for a new bra. I apologize if I am spelling her name wrong, but Hayleigh was just wonderful. She helped me find the right cup size and fit, and made me feel very comfortable with my ever expanding body.
