I love H&M. Some of the clothes fit smaller than other stores but look very nice and stay ahead of fashion trends.

This is a pretty large H and M. It does get very busy based on its location in the city but if you are already around, it's worth a shot. This is downtown with no dedicated parking. You can always hop on the free shuttles that go up and down 16th street mall if you need better access to your vehicle or go head to the store. They have a similar selection to the Cherry Creek H&M but I do see that this one does sometimes have a slightly different variety. The service is good but because it's busy there's a lot going on. Be sure to check out the sale section which is where there's always a great deal. read more

I always find their newest pieces here and I like that it has the H&M Home on the third floor. First floor is their intimates, jewelry, new clothes, sports pieces and their sale. Second floor is their Divided line which is targeted more towards the younger crowd. I enjoy how big the H&M is however I gave it a 4 due to location and small Sale section. There is construction right in front of it which makes it hard to locate or find parking as it is downtown. Their sale selection is so small I go through it in less than 5 minutes. The service is always good and I have never had an issue with check out. When it comes to the value, the pieces are affordable and nice. read more

The shelves are well stocked with clothing and accessories and most of the sizes are available. They had a couple great Clearance racks!!! It's wheelchair and stroller accessible! Clean store! There is a fair amount to love here: The store is large, bright, and carries a lot more merchandise than most of the H&M locations I've visited both here and in other countries. The sale racks are quite copious as well. Unfortunately the staff aspect here is where the store falls short. There isn't anyone out on the sales floor outside of the security guard (who also perused the racks while we shopped), and staff at the registers does not grasp the concept of how lines work. While a number of customers queued up in a socially-distanced line on the east side, when a second employee appeared, she grabbed someone that had just wandered over on the west side without even attempting to discern who might have been waiting longer. Yes, the customer was wrong for not recognizing that the people standing on the other side of the registers were not mannequins, but this was such an obvious customer service fail. read more

Despite the fact I've been to other various H&M stores across the country, this one caught me by surprise. Here's why: 1. The clothes are beyond awesome. I came across numerous items i could easily purchase due to color, size & fabric. I pretty much fell in love with 18,000 pieces, but my wallet prevented me from actually going through with it! 2. Prices. Although they advertise themselves as cheap, I came to realize H&M is only cheap if you're looking for basic items. leggings, cami's, socks, scarfs. when it came to buying statement pieces [blazers, skirts, jeans and more!] were quite a bit more. Just sayin' 3. The lines were insane. Even though this store opened in the fall, the lines to the register, bathroom and dressing room were L.O.N.G. holy god. I bought certain things without even trying them on, as i didn't want to wait 30 minutes just to try on a shirt. 4. Staff is friendly but almost non existent . I don't know if they are just understaffed, or that they were helping other customers, but i didn't see anyone walking around offering to assist. odd. 5. The store is 2 levels. My son received a gift card and it was our first time at H&M. Huge store with lots and lots to look at but..... Really poorly made clothes. Think disposable fast fashion. Some cute styles but once you look closely you realize it is not anything that will hold up after a few washes. Lots of thin fabric with loose threads. They really over pack the store with random clothes racked together... Think summer dress on sale racked with winter sweaters. Items on mannequins were not stocked in the same area or any place near display. Women's clothes in a few areas with the men's clothes. Dress shirts racked with sweat pants. What??? Kind of an odd set up that just made me want to walk out ASAP. read more

This is my favorite H&M location. The three story store offers quite the selection and variety - bottom floor is women's, second floor is both men's and women's, and the new third floor is home and kids. The home section is quite appealing. As for the clothing, they are decent quality for the price and always cute. If you don't want to spend too much money but still keep up with some fashion trends, this is the place to be. No public bathroom, even if you are buying merchandise. How ridiculous is that? If you aren't into skinny jeans and other tight clothing that fit primarily boys, good luck. Also, their clothing is made in different areas of the world, so quality is not consistent. I've bought one item that lasted a few years, and I bought other things that have lasted a few months. H&M seems like any other yuppie store that you see at the mall save that this store is big and you can find some really good prices on some things. Better prices in general actually whether they be on clearance or not. However despite the fine quality of clothes and the prices I was not entirely sold on anything and left without a bag in hand. I have clothing tastes that are eccentric to say the least but if I dont feel like rolling out the polish and the whips and chains I am perfectly content with buying a tshirt at a big box retailer even if it is made cheaply and is destined for a short life. To sum it all up H&M didnt impress me over all. The clothes were kind of bland in style, for men anyway and lacked an edge. The prices were not bad though. what the heck happened to this chain? Went at 11 and the place was already starting to get packed. Yes it is 2 floors of clothing but I feel like it needed 1 more floor for women's wear. truly never come here an online return unless you don't care who it getting your money back. I had to make three trips in less than 24hrs to try and get refunded the correct amount and still wasn't refunded in full after 3 trips, despite returning my entire order. The associates and manager forgot to scan items that I returned, resulting in me not getting refunded for $75+ of merchandise, then were completely unable to figure out how to appropriately refund things that were purchased via their tiered holiday discounts. Will never return to this store, total incompetence and zero effort or care to get it right. read more

Super organized H&M and was able to pick up great items! Conveniently located in a large shopping mall in downtown.

So I finally checked out H&M today. The store was clean and modern, and there wasn't horribly loud music blasting, so that made me happy. I liked that everything was organized like a regular department store and there was more than one of everything, unlike Forever 21. But. There were FIVE things I wanted to try on that were ONLY available in XS. And it's not like there were one or two left, there were 7 or 8 dresses/cardigans/blouses only in XS. Whoever does the ordering for the store should make a point to order larger sizes. The people who were working there were fine, but I heard 3 different employees talking about how they were ready to go home, or how they were tired etc. I don't think they realized that the curtains in the dressing room aren't soundproof. The woman who rang me up also mentioned wanting to go home. I ended up buying one measly boring sweater for work, but I was disappointed with the sizes and the prices for most everything. read more

I love H&M, and I was eagerly awaiting this one opening up in Denver. But when I went I was a little disappointed. I've been in San Francisco and Chicago and there was plenty of selection, but the Denver location seemed to be full of mainly size 2 and 4 clothes. Though I did still find things to buy and they were a great deal, but they were a little harder to find than at other locations I've been to. They have a ton of accessories and really some pretty cute clothes, I just wish more of them were in my size. read more

Who doesn't love a massive, 3-story H&M?! Great location right in the heart of 16th street mall and they've got a great building. My wife and I have had a good time each trip to this spot. The upstairs section is where we've spend most of our time since that's all home decor and infant/toddler clothing. Prices are great and you can find some cool stuff here. Even if you're just wanting to browse around and look and some unique things this locations is great. Well organized and clean! H and M get a lot of buzz, and I can see why, cheap but stylish clothes. The store has a suave feel, with glass stairs in the center, fund music, bright colors. But here's my experience: I picked out a few doo-dads for my wife and approached the enormous lines. The customers in front of me were foreigners with huge bags filled with clothing. Incredulously, they began trying on EACH item they had picked out in line before handing it to the cashier to ring up. And they had at least 50 items, maybe 100. NO KIDDING! I asked the clueless 20-something cashier if we could get them to move aside or move us to another line and she said "I can't really do that" . Why the hell not?? So I gave her the items I had and told her to put them pack. The rude foreigners looked at me like I just crapped in their Euro-Wheaties. But I wasn't the only person to leave, the two people directly behind me also gave up and handed in their merchandise. My point is this: no matter how fun the store is, no matter how chic you pretend to be, if you trust your key execution (riniging up orders) to clueless untrained bubble-heads, you lose business and create hard feelings. Forever 21, despite their cantankerous return policies, is a much better option and just steps away. If you must go to H &M, go at an off-time, not on a weekend. read more

Seriously, Yelp? Three stars? Yall need to calm your pussies down. I don't award five stars unless a business deserves such a coveted accolade. H&M is not, in my opinion, an exceptional, amazing, cum-in-my-pants, five-star kinda business--I mean, retail is retail is retail. I'll consider it a five-star locale when they hand me a complimentary slice of cheesecake with my purchase. However, I am giving this store five stars to increase the currently-inaccurate three-star ranking; and I'm gonna give you some tips. If you're expecting customer service, a pristine sales floor and stress-free shopping, visit on a weekday. From personal experience, I will safely warn that weekends at this store are psychotic. Teenage girls trying to be cool, tourists traveling in packs, mothers playing bumper cars with their strollers, random fathers squatting in random places--psychotic. What else would you expect? It's the only H&M in this town, it's located on 16th freakin' street and it's about as big as Nicki Minaj's ass. Of course it's gonna be crowded and messy on a saturday afternoon. I personally make the effort to shop on weekdays, allowing me to comfortably browse the inventory, ask all of my questions, and get rung-up without waiting in a hopeless line. If you're the type of shopper to get worked up and stressed over the little things, heed my words. Service is as helpful as any other joint. Employees are some definite style-candy (and, at times, eye-candy [hello, bodacious black girl with the braids and Mr. Eyebrows]). Store is spacious and bright. This store is PACKED with clothes, and as I look around, I realize just how "mass merchandised" most of the stuff here looks. But I suppose that's H&M's whole spiel (it's how the clothing stays so "low cost," if you can call it that). It's not as cheap as you would think, but it's along the lines of a similar store. Some of you might know it. It's called Forever 21. The lines are always long, no matter the time or day. There are always sales associates milling around, but they don't bother you, like in other stores. They seem to keep to themselves, which I prefer. Contrary to popular belief, the sizes do not run small, they are standard sizing. But since we, as Americans, have gotten so fat and accustomed to our vanity sizes, we expect to wear smaller sizes (myself included). The clothes aren't small, your ass is just big. So get your big behind over to H&M, just don't come crying to me when you have to buy a size larger than what you normally wear. read more

First off, I don't think the prices at H & M are as crazy cheap as everyone claims. They aren't pricey at all, but nothing too utterly impressive. My husband and I went into the store this Friday while lazing around the Denver Pavilions. There were lots of cute men's clothes. I shouldn't say lots. Their men's section was about 1/8 of the store. By lots, I mean, there were more clothes in this tiny men's department that I liked than in the rest of the store combined! There was one dress i liked on a window mannequin, but I'll be damned if I saw it anywhere in the store! Their clothes, (much like another store i hate, Forever 21) are scattered all about with no seeming order. If I am looking for a cute dress, I have to troll through the entire store to do it. this may be fine in a small shop, but when your store is a 2 level football field of a cluster f***, some sense of organization would be nice. I saw plenty of clerks in the store, but only one in the men's department asked me if I needed help. The others were too busy talking about their plans to get drunk while trying to navigate the giant store. Perhaps, they too were unsure of were the clothes they were re-shelving were supposed to go. When I got fed up trying to find said "mannequin dress" I finally conceded to seeking out a clerk for help. They just breezed right past me. Oh well. I'm sure if they actually had the dress it would only be in a size 2, like most of the clothes I looked for. It was rare to find a medium in anything cute, let alone a large. Needless to say, I'll only enter this store if I'm shopping for my husband, and even then, probably not. I miss the Nike store that used to be there. read more

I'm wavering between a two and three but I'll round up to three since I found some stuff I like (no news on how well any of it holds up in the wash though, as I'm infamously hard on clothes). Really not much more than a glorified Forever 21, except the stuff on the hangers actually looks like it's poor quality before you even wash it. Forever 21 pieces at least hold up appearances until their first wash. The items on a whole were wrinkled and some even had visible holes and fraying already and many of the styles were unappealing. As some people have mentioned, you really have to dig to find a size bigger than a four. All of my opinions changed when I put on an outfit in the dressing room that made me feel about ten years younger (like a hipster teen!) I didn't even mean to make an outfit, I just tried on some leggings, a tank top dress, and a cardigan and it sort of worked. Plus it was all cheap enough that I guess it won't be a big deal when it comes apart in the washing machine. I left without getting what I was looking for (inexpensive sweaters to wear to work and keep me warm) but I left feeling young again. And I got a decent dress for work. I would probably not go out of my way to make this a shopping destination though. read more

One of my favorite locations. Was a bit disappointed though because being preggers, they did not have their maternity section. Was told that they were doing renovations, so that the maternity section would be up and running again. Other than that, you can always find trendy items for a fraction of the price. I always buy the basic pieces elsewhere, but the more trendy items here. Kids clothes are great too, especially when they are on clearance. Kids grow out of their clothes so fast anyways, so the trendy and fashionable items are a great deal! Overall, this location doesn't disappoint! read more

I wish the name indicated they cater to thin people. Or maybe a sign on the door? I saw some nice things so After wandering a few minutes I asked someone for the large and extra large sizes (we aren't talking plus sizes here). I was told they only sell sizes for women up to a 10. Needless to say I was embarrassed since I am a 14. I never encountered this before at any clothing store. I went to a neighboring store and sheepishly asked if they carried size 14 and was cheerfully told they have sizes 2-18 like any other clothing store I've ever been too. read more

Don't come here if you are slightly disabled or more. There's no sitting areas to rest and when my disabled friend tried to sit down one of the snobby sales associates demanded "We stand up immediately and he was going to have to watch us the whole time". At first we were flabbergasted because no one has ever treated us this way... Then the assistant manager (a lady with tattoos) came by also made clear that we shouldn't be sitting and if my disabled friend wanted to sit we should "Walk out of the store and go sit on the benches located on the 16th Street Mall". Keep in mind it was SNOWING, cold, and blustery that day. I never felt this bad about treated in a obviously demeaning way to me and my friend. read more

Dudes gotta look good too and H&M is a great place to shop for men's clothes. It has one of the largest selections of men's clothing of any store downtown and has affordable prices to boot. I've been looking for some Henley shirts and went to both here and the Gap at the Pavilions. The Gap only had one type of Henley and it was $30. H&M had six types in several colors all under $20. I ended up getting two shirts (one $10 and the other $15). H&M had a ton of other clothes too. Lots of different styles from business-wear to casual to preppy. This is definitely an advantage to many other stores in the Pavilions which seem to have a style already picked out (Gap is preppy, Banana Republic is yuppie, Express is metrosexual, Hot Topic is for depressed teens). I've found that the sizes run a bit small here, so it's good to try things out first. I didn't find the store to be too busy the two times I visited. For some reason the upstairs cash register had a bit of a line, but I was able to check out immediately at the downstairs cashier. All in all, a very good option for men's clothes downtown. Many other retailers seem to ignore the male consumer and have shrunk their menswear sections. I am glad that H&M has embraced this section of its clientele and the company has me as a regular customer. read more

Great addition to the Denver Pavilions Mall! As a man, I find the selection here for more large and diverse than its nearby competitor in Forever 21. Nowhere else can $50 get you a bag full of fun and wearable clothing... and I enjoy stopping in every other week or so to see what's new as the items change so frequently! Women have dozens of outlets to go to for inexpensive clothes but us menfolk do not, as H&M provides us a great one! As much as I miss the Nike store this outlet replaced, you could tell the previous store was dying slowly with limited customers. H&M is here to stay with tons of traffic and a large staff to match. Men even have their own entrance in the back on the 2nd floor and a cashier in their department! Great work, H&M! read more

Located in the Denver Pavilions shopping center it's now the main retail draw supplanting the former Nike Town. Two big stories packed full of your H&M favorites. Always a good, cheap deal to be found here. Granted the quality of the clothing may not always be of the highest caliber, but if I'm not paying a lot to begin with, what am I really expecting? Plus, where else can you go and *ALWAYS* find something covered in glitters, sequins, and/or other gaudy shininess. And in sizes for actual adults...I'm looking at you Forever 21. All your baby sizes are disheartening. Their accesories are pretty legit and you can usually find whatever it is you may be looking throughout the seasons. I rely on them for most seasonal needs, too. Gloves, Scarves, etc. I also really have come to like their lingerie. Their bras fit surprisingly well. And I shop here a lot for my friend's kids. I'm very happy that the Uniqlo moved in next door recently. I've never had a good experience with H&M quality. By the time I wear any of their clothes once, they tend to stretch out and not have that "new" look any longer. Even if I'm paying half the price, I prefer a little more longevity than "single-serving". Generally, I try to warn people about what they are getting in to before they buy stuff from here. Sadly, the price tends to lure too many people even if they've made the same mistake before. All that being said, I can't give this place a 1-star review since I hated seeing another empty store front in an expensive strip mall no one could afford. It would be great to see a little more originality than H&M, but I'll take it over nothing. read more

FAN of H&M!!!! I have read some of the other reviews, and I just don't think people know what they were getting into, and had different expectations of what H&M is, and when it didn't live up to what they had in their heads, they were disappointing. I have been shopping at H&Ms for years, and it is not a place to fit everyone and everyone's style. The style they are trying to hit tend to be more of what is going on in the fashion world, which usually hasn't gotten to the mainstream yet, and may never work its way into the mainstream. It is a niche store, but it is great for what it is, got decent fashions at a decent price. I know what I am getting from a H&M, and will go back. I am excited that this store is here in Denver finally, I am sure that they H&M tag selection in my closet will grow. The store itself is nice, clean, modern, just like what I have come to expect from H&Ms If you are going here for the first time, and you are a Male, TRY ON THE CLOTHES FIRST. The only H&M in Denver and having none (yet) where I reside in Houston, TX, I prowled the store from top to bottom, from side to side, even peeked at corners! Even though it was ridiculously crowded and sometimes the shelves were disheveled and customers were running amok, (I visited on a Saturday) I actually was at peace because it seemed like I was one with H&M. It was like the clothes were speaking to me and I had to bring them home and lo and behold, 2 hours and $200 later, they had a safe place in my suitcase. Reasonable price tags for the latest fashions makes Anna a happy shopper. :D Tip: If you are in the dressing room and need a different size, the dressing room attendant will help you get another size or style! I kind of feel like a spoiled brat giving 3-stars to H&M since I'm so grateful that they have a store here in Denver. But when it comes down to it, I don't like the selection at this location compared to others I've been to throughout the grand U S of A. I primarily shop at the H and the M for mens button down shirts, as they're usually crazy cheap, sharp, and fit me perfectly (it's so hard to find a dress shirt that doesn't drown me, even smalls at times). However, this store lacks the selection of said shirts compared to say DC or Boston. The only consistent selection they have are the more expensive ones at $30-$40 a pop - which isn't terrible, but I can find better deals at the outlet stores or sales at stores like Kohls. There was one time when they had a shipment of $20 shirts that were awesome, and I wish I had bought more because they promptly disappeared and have not yet returned. I will continue to hold hope for their arrival once again. This store definitely appears to be targeting the younger, more hipster, urban-outdoorsy, and bros types. I rarely look at the more casual clothing at this location. Perhaps the one going into Cherry Creek will be a bit more professional. Of course, that one will have the immediate strike of being in Cherry Creek (I hate navigating CC). All gripes aside, I still love HandM and will continue to pop in whenever I have some free time on the 16th St. mall. #firstworldproblems read more
