I asked for help at the front desk and was handed off to someone who was obviously felt put upon to provide assistance. I wanted something dressy but not over the top frou frou, so she showed me outfits with black lace, sequins, floor length etc etc, and when I said no, too formal, she said, "Well, I guess we have nothing." But the shop has many lovely clothes, suitable for a party, a concert or the theater. So I went to Mariel, and they set me up in a dressing room and kept bringing clothes, many of which I bought. I had been looking everywhere for a "hipster chic" dress that would be perfect for my low-key Colorado mountain wedding. I was pretty discouraged until I found RusticThread. I walked in and right away found exactly the dress I was looking for. Funny thing- they even had it in multiple colors! Anyways, I tried it on and it was perfect. The girl working at the store was super friendly and helpful and just generally nice to talk to. I LOVE my dress and it's casual enough that I can wear it again if I find the right occasion. I sometimes visit their website to check out new arrivals but it doesn't compare to seeing pieces in store. So if you're on the fence about anything online, stop by the store! Their instagram also has great ideas on how to style clothing pieces differently. Every time I come in the girls there have been very kind, Madison especially. Madison has been there the last couple of times I've stopped in and she's always so happy. She's helped me with fitting questions, always offers tips on how to style certain pieces and is even honest with suggesting another color that might look better (which I VERY much appreciate). I have to say, the overall guidance and positivity from Madison is probably one of the main reasons I leave with more than just 1 piece of clothing every time.
