I'm one of those Athleta devotees too. This isn't my preferred location, because Cherry Creek isn't my favorite mall. I tend to buy online more often because I need tall sizes. I wish they'd carry tall sizes in store! But I was in the area and had to return an item, so I paid this store a visit. The customer service representative was very helpful and friendly. I was in and out quickly. My one gripe is that I had to pay for parking just to spend 15 minutes returning an item. This is not, however, Athleta's fault. read more

The colors are all beautiful, and I truly love that there are so many options with just one solid color: classic and modern. Also- there are many complementary items available in the same color. I love Athleta and I've been wearing it for years. I've Never had a bad experience in an athletic store until I moved here. I've never had a good experience with this location. However, last night was the worst. After being ignored in an empty store with an arm full of clothes trying to find my size, the sales person in the waiting room kept bringing me two sizes bigger that I was trying on and asking for. She said she did not know my size even though she had been told. Lastly I bought several items and the persons checking me out did not say a word except for the total. She didn't even crack a smile... so bazaar! read more

This was my first time in this store. I had made my first purchase, well purchases, online over Christmas. One item I needed to return. The ladies here were so SWEET and super fast with my return. I appreciate places that make returns hassle-free! Even more than that, I appreciate good customer service which seems hard to find these days! I love love love their clothes. The customer service is a complete downer. The ladies seem frantic, no one was able to acknowledge me (reminiscent of waiting tables where you're scared to make eye contact for fear of having another customer when you're already slammed). To wrap it all up, no "thank you" at the end of the transaction. Wha????? Again, I'd expect all of the above with younger employees who hAve not yet had as many experiences. But for a group of middle aged ladies, you can do better. And I feel safe saying this bc I'm one myself. Online only from here on out! read more

I was super excited to learn that Althleta was opening a store in Denver and I've been there twice since they opened in early July. The staff are all very friendly and it's nice to be able to try on the clothes before making a purchase. The store is a little smaller than I had imagined, so there are several things in the catalog and online that are not available in the store. They also have a fairly limited quantity of merchandise in each size, so I haven't always been able to get what I wanted in the store. If you can't find the size you need, be sure to ask - sometimes there's additional inventory in the back. The store is located on the upper level next to Nordstrom (I had a hard time finding it on my first visit as they aren't listed in the mall directory yet). read more

I love Athleta clothes and was so excited to see one coming to Denver. Great service, in the store and in the dressing room, but not all items in catalog are in the store. (all the items I wanted, it seems.) Still have to mail order, but they will waive shipping charges for the faster shipping if you do it in the store. read more

I have become an Athleta devotee over the last year. Their workout clothes are very high quality. Their dresses and skirts are feminine and beautiful while still being functional and practical. I often wear the dresses to work and the workout clothes to play. Athleta clothes still maintain their quality and form after countless washes, unlike a lot of less expensive workout clothes. The Athleta in Cherry Creek mall is great. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. I consistently have a wonderful experience here. read more

Terrible customer service - I'm a fit pro w this company and I teach to a hundreds of people a week. Athleta (corporate) sent a birthday card in the mail w a 20$ off coupon but since I'm a fit pro I couldn't use it. Makes no sense and the staff was very unhelpful in this matter. I really love this store but after my visit on Wednesday of this past week it may be my last. My three year old and I popped in to pick up some new gear for myself and my older daughters. But after walking the store and not having one single associate smile or even say hello, we left. There were at least 4 associates in the store and not one offered assistance or even a cheery 'good morning.' We were the only other people in the store. So we left and went downstairs and picked up a bunch of new goodies at Lululemon. The staff at Lulu acknowledged my existence, was super friendly and was willing to help me find exactly what I needed on my shopping trip. Had a shoe on display that was no longer sold online.. Would not sell the floor samples.. I just don't think that it's fair to display a product that is no longer available. The sales people were helpful in the sense of telling me where to look online at other retailers but overall 1 start for my overall disappointment :/ read more

I am surprised the bad reviews below but I get that everyone's experiences are different with the store. This was my first time in the store and had multiple employees asking if I needed help while Nichole (not sure if I spelled her name correctly) helped me figure out issues with an online order that was back ordered. Then finding out it was cancelled and not receiving my rewards back. She helped me reorder my items and honoring my rewards I used after I found my receipt I had in my email. read more

I'm a personal assistant and came in to exchange a birthday gift my bosses daughter received for the same item in a different color and size with a gift receipt. The sales associate did the exchange incorrectly and returned the shirt therefore sending the money back to the persons card who purchased this gift rather than exchanging the shirt. The manager was extremely rude and pretty much said that it was a mistake but nothing can be done. then I asked if she was going to call my boss to let her know she needs to contact whoever purchased this gift and ask them to now repurchase it? She then magically decided there was a solution to the problem after saying it was just "extremely complicated". I'm sorry it's complicating to do your job? After her "extremely complicated" fix, she shoved the shirt and receipt at me and said she was done. Literally shoved and said, "here." No bag or anything. Honestly I feel bad for the sales associate that helped me. It wasn't her fault she wasn't properly trained by the extremely poor management at this store. read more

I recently left my black Run On jacket, size xxs, at a United Airlines gate at DIA. Surprisingly, the airport and United have not yet recovered my super small jacket that I got at Athleta over 2 years ago. I went to Cherry Creek this past weekend to try to replace the lost jacket, which I could not locate online. The super caring and compassionate associate, Duran, helped me and first looked the jacket up in their system - nothing. Then she gave me the number to customer service who would be could check every store. But then! After looking closely at her computer screen of the Run On jacket on the Athleta website, she walked briskly over to a rack. And presented. The Run On jacket, size xxs! This story may not be relevant to anyone, but the helpful, sympathetic, and pure customer service I received from Duran instilled in me a sense of faith in people once again. read more

I shop here about once a month and love this location, the staff is nice but the managers are the best!! They are extremly helpful and so awesome!! I own about half the store now lol i luv athleta clothing very flattering and compfy. I get tons of compliments all the time. It is nice to have an actual Athleta brick and mortar store, but it is even nicer to have a bigger Athleta store in Park Meadows Mall. I have been to both locations, and much prefer the Park Meadows location (although there is no Yelp for that location as I write this review). This store is smaller than the one at Park Meadows, so naturally, it has less of a selection. The customer service I received at the Park Meadows location was far superior to the customer service I received at this location. The clothing itself is somewhat pricey, sort of on par with the prices at Lululemon. Athelta offers more than just exercise clothing, they also have casual clothing such as sweaters, coats, slacks, skirts, and dresses. Their return policy is quite liberal, offering you a chance to return an item after you worked out in it. Unfortunately, while the catalog has footwear, it is not available in the brick and mortar stores. read more

I ordered an item which was backordered until December which was fine. I used $45 in GAP awards for being a silver card member. As soon as I placed the order I changed my mind on the color and called them to ask them to send a different color. I was told that I would have to cancel the order and then buy the other color at full price because my rewards wouldn't go back to my account for 2 months. It makes no sense that they couldn't just change the color and keep the order the same. I spend a lot of money each year on my GAP card and feel that this is extremely poor service. read more
