Having planned and executed many events throughout my professional life, I was quite impressed with the layout of the back shop and dock areas to the rear of the building - they appear to be well thought out so the logistical ease of event build and load out considered.

We put a deposit down. We found out 3 months later that the women who we had meet and discussed plans for the wedding had quit and that we didn't even have a contract with the event center and they had no information about our wedding plans. My daughter contacted the person in charge and she said she would look into it. My daughter did say she wanted her deposit back. The women in charge told my daughter she didn't know if we could get the money back or not. They offered her a contract to sign so she didn't lose the deposit she did sign but immediately changed her mind and was not feeling confident in having her wedding at White Oaks Event center anymore because of all of the confusion. She asked if they could get a refund and the president of the company said NO! I believe that with or without a contract they were never giving the money back. Beware if you deal with these undesirable people they are only after your money and they do not know what they are doing. It's a shame we live in such a corrupt world. I highly recommend if you are looking for a place to have an event keep looking!

The IT services are cutting edge, and the Venues we have are unique and one of a kind. We have a research Arboretum the perfect place to have lunch mid-day in the summer. We have a 1,000 person auditorium and two large exhibit halls. We also have a 900 person ballroom. If you need to hand an event in Wooster, you need the Events Team at the College of Food and Agriculture Science at The Ohio State University, Wooster campus!

Although they've been here for only a short while, they currently craft their wines at @lincolnwayvineyards --a place we love and have missed visiting. I absolutely loved the "Satisfaction" red wine. It's a dry, oaked wine with aromas of dark fruit, made from French-American hybrid DeChaunac grapes originating from New York, and it boasts a 13.1% ABV. Another standout was the "After Midnight," which reminds me of a saying my parents used when I wanted to extend my curfew in high school: "Nothing good happens after midnight." This wine is the exception. It's a semi-dry, floral aromatic wine, also originating from New York, on the sweeter side with a 2.5% residual sugar and a 12.3% ABV. Overall, the staff was awesome, the wine was excellent, and the space was inviting. Can't wait to revisit. Cheers!

Keith really helped us with the planning using his years of experience with hosting weddings here that just made everything so much better!!! We originally wanted to have the appetizers just outside the conservatory but the day before when we saw how hot it would be he quickly pivoted to host the appetizers in the beautiful barn with a lovely breeze and outdoor lighting. WOW. This is only one of many inspirations. The conservatory was full of beautiful greenery and blooming flowers and the colors just popped. All our guests were sooo impressed and it was just an amazing time. Keith and Mary were very communicative which is so important to a successful event.
