On a Thursday night after some debate on our options all we knew was we wanted Dumplings and found this spot.
A cozy interior with relevant decor given the Asian Fusion billing. Outdoor seating was also available and although it was late May, a bit too chilly. A small Bar area as well lounge area looked like it would be great for a group. One thing for sure they've paid a great deal of attention to the details overall.
Complimentary shrimp chips with hot oil was a nice touch. For drinks, it was a Hitachino Lager (more of an Ale taste but I enjoyed it), Tropic Thunder Mocktail was enjoyed also.
We started with Dumplings and some Bao Buns. The Dumplings looked like works of art given the containers and presentation. No doubt they were made with care. Baozi Beef and Kimchi-Braised Beef and Kimchi goodness, Baozi mushroom-my favorite with Truffle Mayo taking it over the top, Fried Chicken Wonton-slightly spicy and tasty. All of the Dumplings were paired with their own special sauce.
The Bao Buns (Fried Avocado and Crispy Chicken were very good with the Avocado standing out.
We finished with a couple getting the Dark Chocolate Mousse. Chocolate wasn't as intense as I like it but paired well with the Dulce de Leche Ice Cream. The Sesame Oil finish in a dessert was a first and interesting.
We had a couple of servers and both were friendly and attentive. It felt a bit pricey for us (about 1200 SEK, 120 USD) especially since we didn't end up getting any entrees. That said, I would say this is an elevated Asian Fusion/Fine Dining spot with inspired Cocktails. Great atmosphere and spot for a group outing or date night. read more
