this place is outstanding! We were visiting from Houston and staying close by. we met friends there who had heard how great this place is. and it is! Nick was our server, but I kept calling him Dick, by accident. Sorry, Nick! the calamari app and arancini balls were very, very good. I had the short rib and it was some of the best short rib Ive had. the food arrived hot and very quickly. the cocktails are the star of this place (maybe bc everything was very good!). We had a double date here for our first visit and dinner was fantastic! We started out with cocktails. I had the pear martini which was such a delight while my husband had a local IPA. Our server brought out some fresh focaccia along with an order of calamari as an appetizer. I ordered their ahi tuna which was good, though I've had better. My husband ordered one of their chef's special, shrimp cavatelli pasta, however he received the wrong dish. I believe it was due to a poor communication error/understanding. They were very apologetic and made the correct dish which did take some time to get out. We ordered a bottle of their Camus Cab for the table and enjoyed a slice of cheesecake to finish off our meal with great company! We went to SoHo Wine Bar on a Wednesday around 6:30pm. We were greeted right away and sat right away. The restaurant was very quiet and had some really wonderful vibes! Really loved the atmosphere! It was very clean and well-kept. Our server came over very promptly to get us started with some drinks. She offered some suggestions on martinis, which we took her up on and were NOT disappointing at all! Started off on with mozarella di burrata, which was VERY refreshing and a great starter. We switched to a bottle of Melbac, which was reasonably priced and delicious as well. The server, as well as the owner, continued to make sure that our glasses were topped up, which was such great customer service! I had the spicy rigatoni & meatballs, and my wife had the salmon special. We shared a side of roasted brussels sprouts. The rigatoni had a great spice to it and was seasoned very well. The meatballs were extremely tender and delicious! The salmon was also seasoned and cooked to perfection. We finished the meal with a pistachio ricotta cake, which was so light and airy, VERY good! The staff were so attentive. I continued to see our server peek in and check on us, but didn't always interrupt, which I found to be very refreshing. I always think it's important to be attentive to your guests, but not to be intrusive. She could tell when we needed something and when we were just fine. AMAZING service! She was also wonderful at explaining the menu and offering some great suggestions! I noticed that as guests left their tables, they would replace the entire linens and everything promptly, which I have not seen in other restaurants. We finished our evening with a nice conversation with the owner. We told him that we were there for our anniversary, and he said we should have told him, but we wanted to experience the restaurant without them knowing it was our anniversary. Great makeover from the previous place! It feels warm and intimate without seeming pretentious. I was in jeans and service was friendly and FAST! For those saying it's a bit pricey, it's on par with similar places. It's higher than dive bar fried foods of course, but not 5 star prices. I tried the tuna tower ($22) and beet salad ($14). Lots of variety on the menu! I didn't take pics, but stole one from a facebook post of the beet salad. Somebody else already has pics of the tuna tower on here, though it was served slightly different to me. The beet salad was Greek yogurt based, which is in the description, but I guess I was still expecting it to have a base of greens like a typical salad. It did not, but it was amazing! The slight sweetness and acid of the orange slices were a great balance with the beets. The crunchy pistachios were a nice touch. Honestly, one of the best balances of flavors and textures I've had in a while! The tuna tower was good, but could use a couple of minor changes to be great. I like that it had no rice. They might want to state that clearly for those limiting carbs and fillers, so they're encouraged to order. The tuna, mango, and avocado seemed fresh, but it was hard to tell, as the sauce kinda drowned them out. It was served with 4 light, crispy chips. On the chips, the mix was very tasty! It would be better with like 8-10 chips on the plate...and still lighten up on the sauce a bit. Overall, I liked it and will be back! I'm glad to have another nicer place to eat in Keller that can make decent craft cocktails! read more

I know this is only the second week. Their service is where there is room for improvement. My friends and I ordered a couple of pizzas and then some appetizers of meatballs and the rice balls. All the food was excellent, presented nicely and served at the right temperature. A waitress was very nice, but she could also tell very new and uncertain all of that will come with time and I think there's very good potential here . I hope so. I want it to be my go to bar to stop in and have a drink on the way home. I had high expectations for this restaurant based on all the reviews in the Keller neighborly group. Our service was sub par, most people I interacted with acted like they didn't understand English. The food we received was so salty neither I nor my friend could eat it. We took 2 bites and asked for the check. The establishment is also not as clean as it should be. We've been four times now and the service and food is consistently great. If you've not checked the place out since the change from FNG it's worth stopping in. They did a nice job updating the style and gave the same location a more premium modern feel, but not too premium. Not sure where to start. We finally made our way up here and did not experience what we thought we would. Do you start with our old-fashioned were good, if a little strong, nothing really to complain about there. However, when my husband pointed out that his glass had a chip in it and he cut his lip one bartender took care of it immediately, and the other one, then took it out of the trash to inspect it. We ordered the Barada, and granted, I know that it is not tomato season, but there was zero seasoning on the tomatoes Outside of the balsamic reduction. It probably would've been just fine if there was some salt and pepper added to it. We then ordered the lobster, ravioli and mushroom pizza. The lobster ravioli was either way too thick on the pasta or undercooked. It took toothsome to a different level. The flavor was fine, but nothing special. The mushroom pizza upon first bite was tasty until the rest of the bite with aggressive red pepper flakes on it. So much that my taste buds were overwhelmed and I could not taste anything else. Then to our surprise, and frankly, my astonishment, one of the waiters or perhaps owner came over and took a glass of wine and poured it back into the bottle and then recorded the bottle. The bartenders were nice. Michelle was especially attentive. And the dough on the pizza was very good. Overall, when I come back, probably not. Which is unfortunate as we were hoping for this place to be really good. read more

I had dinner last night. My order was the spicy vodka rigatoni. It might have been the best vodka sauce I ever tasted. The issue was $24 for sauce and pasta only. The profit has to be ridiculous. My experience at many Italian restaurants around the world provides meatballs or sausage or house salad with the meal. That was not even available to order as a side. In addition the bread for a table of 3 was 6 very small pieces. Being open for 1 month I would have expected an owner or at least a manager would be walking around to ask their customers how was their experience.
