The salon was able to fit us all in and was super patient with my nieces. Especially when the older one couldn't make up her mind between a pedicure and manicure. When they apologized, I was completely understanding and told them it was no big deal at all. I then had a pedicure and a manicure. I had regular Color Street polish on my nails, not gel. The nail tech initially tried removing it with a cotton ball, but because Color Street can be a little more difficult to remove, she ended up using the nail tool to get the rest off. When it was time to pay, I was charged $20 for the manicure, even though I didn't even get polish put on. When I questioned why it was $20, the nail tech explained that Judy, the owner, saw her using the tool to remove my polish and told her to charge me an additional $5. That honestly really rubbed me the wrong way. This was REGULAR nail polish, not gel, acrylic, dip, or anything else that would normally require a special removal service. It simply needed a little more time to remove. After being a loyal customer for over a decade, waiting 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment without complaining, and being completely understanding about the delay, I found it incredibly petty to then add an extra $5 charge because my regular polish took a little longer to remove. It's not about the $5. It's about how you treat a longtime, loyal customer. I would never have expected something like this after coming here for so many years. Unfortunately, they lost a customer over it.

They also have a ton of color choices for polish, powder, and gel. The pedicures have been great; it's always a very relaxing atmosphere, and they've never made me feel rushed. The dip powder manicures have been 4 out of 5 stars for me because they sometimes don't always cover the side edges of my nails, and they always use the small skinny drill tip to file the back of my nail bed and cuticle beforehand, to get through the "manicure" part quicker and easier. I know that filing the nail bed a little beforehand can help the material stick better than it would to a super smooth surface, but I'm always disappointed when I see the drill come out for a fast cuticle cleanup instead of doing it all manually with the manicure tools . The pricing is moderate, the staff is very nice and professional, and I will definitely go back in the future, because I like the pedicures so much.
