Ube soft serve with fruity pebbles
Kay R.

Soft Swerve is one of my go-to spots in New York whenever I'm visiting friends, and it never disappoints! I'm all about the ube soft serve in a waffle cone, it's my absolute favorite. I love getting creative with the different topping variations, but honestly, no matter how I customize it, it's always amazing. The place can get pretty busy, but the service is impressively quick, and you don't have to wait long for your treat. Most people know what they want when they walk in, which helps keep the line moving! The staff is always friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even better. If you're in the Lower East Side and looking for a delicious and unique dessert, I highly recommend Soft Swerve. It's a must-try!

soft swerve was one of my favorite ice cream places to visit while visiting New York. They had a lot of great Asian flavors that you wouldn't find anywhere else. The service could've been better if friends didn't visit and gave the person behind the register such a hard time prior to closing. The ambience was nice since it was air-conditioned during a summer day

Yummy and reliable soft serve in Chinatown. Quick service and there are some seatings available. They have various flavors to choose from, from the typical chocolate and vanilla to more Asian themed like matcha, thai tea, and ube.

the ube soft serve here is sooooo good and rich in flavor! Ive had the black sesame soft serve here as well but I do like the ube more. Found myself coming here at least once a week this summer lol... fast service & they have some indoor seating! Great dessert spot to hit up after dinner (in the lower east side / Chinatown area).

I got the ube and black sesame soft serve! I was really craving an ice cream place with Asian flavors and this definitely hits the spot!

We spontaneously stopped by Soft Swerve for quick dessert after dinner. It is an Asian-inspired ice cream shop with five NYC locations. We got their bestselling ube and HK milk tea, but there are also many flavors like including thai tea, vietnamese coffee, black sesame, matcha and hojicha. *HK Milk Tea Ice Cream The HK milk tea ice cream tasted very authentic with bold tea flavor as if you're drinking iced HK style milk tea directly. It was on the sweeter side so better share. It instantly reminded us the taste of home. *Ube Soft Serve The ube flavor was very rich, and we were surprised by how tall the soft serve was. Texture-wise, we preferred the soft serve as it was smoother than the ice cream. I will get this flavor again next time I stop by.

Super cute ice cream store in Chinatown. I got their HK milk tea ice cream with cotton candy topping. I haven't had the cotton candy since I was a kid, so it was definitely nostalgic. It was all super yummy and service was quick. There's some seating inside, but we went to a nearby park to eat. Would love to return and try more!

Asian-inspired soft serve spot in LES. I got the Ube-Black sesame swirl, but also tried the Hojicha-Vanilla swirl. Ube is incredible (my favorite)- sweet and creamy! The black sesame is very strong, would recommend getting alone instead of the swirl since it overpowers the ube. The Hojicha was also nice- a nice nutty roasted flavor. All have a very smooth texture but are very sweet btw! A decent amount of seating inside. They give samples which is a plus.

Vanilla with dark chocolate syrup and cotton candy crunch

The ice cream is good and I really like the cotton candy crunch. I also love that they give you this plastic thing for your cone so that if something melts it doesn't get all over your hands. The stores very cute and small

Cookies & cream scoop Miso Biscoff Scoop

We ordered the cookies & cream and Miso Biscoff. Super delicious. A huge scoop for the price and deff worth it. Would more than likely swing by again before we head back to Texas.

This review is for the vegan ube ice cream alone since that's the only vegan option that they have. I'm in love! The ice was soo good. I might have inhaled the cup because it was gone right away. If you haven't tried it you're missing out.

This was the perfect end of day treat for our first day in NYC. I had their soft serve ube ice cream which had authentic ube taste. My husband got their Thai coffee ice cream. We paid over $16 for the two ice creams which is why I am only giving them 4 stars. It's pretty pricey for what we got. I've had better. I also found the place to be not too clean. I get that we went late but consistency throughout the day is important, especially if you're charging that much.

It came out as a thick piece of deep-fried toast topped with ice cream, boba, caramel popcorn, and strawberries on the side. Not healthy at all, but really good. It's one of those desserts you probably wouldn't get every day, but worth trying at least once. Fun to share and definitely something different from the usual desserts.

They have a water dispenser, two locking bathrooms, and plenty of outlets, so I already have a very positive view of Grace Street as a good place to rest. The food is alright. It's a bit overpriced and the teas are not good quality. However, the desserts are delicious. I usually split a slice of basque cheesecake with my friends. The regular and matcha have both been good in my experience. I don't like chocolate cake, so I haven't tried that variety. I wish the pumpkin was available in the smaller size too! I've tried their boba, and it isn't good. The hot teas are okay but not great. They're pretty much just syrup and milk. I would avoid the drinks and just get the desserts! I haven't personally tried the bingsoo, but I've heard good things. The waffle is alright--all in all, come here to recharge and for the basque cheesecake!
