Ube Sticky Butter Cake Scoop, Green Thai Tea Oreo Scoop

There is a wide selection of unique ice cream and soft serve flavors! The Green Thai Tea Oreo was very complex. I didn't know what green Thai tea meant, but it was nutty, earthy, jasmine-y melded with the classic Thai tea flavor. The texture was mostly creamy, but had some ice crystals though (maybe from freezer burn?) We also tried their Ube with Sticky Butter Cake. This was on the sweeter side and had a pronounced Ube flavor. The sticky butter cake was indeed sticky and buttery. Nice pairing overall. It delivered what was promised which I appreciated. I am pleasantly surprised by the quality and strength of each flavor, and would definitely come back to try the others.

Soft Swerve 5/5 If happiness had a color, it would be Soft Swerve purple. Stopped in for a late-night treat and walked out absolutely obsessed. I went with their signature ube soft serve swirl and paired it with a scoop of ice cream underneath (pro tip: always do the combo!). The ube was unbelievably smooth--velvety, rich, and just the right balance of earthy sweetness without being overpowering. Every spoonful had that perfect "melt but not melt too fast" texture that only Soft Swerve seems to get right. The presentation? Elite-level Instagram bait. That iconic lavender swirl stacked high like a soft serve crown. And yes, it tastes just as dreamy as it looks. The base scoop added a subtle creaminess and made each bite feel like a layered dessert moment. Also appreciated that even late at night, service was quick and friendly, and the shop still felt spotless and welcoming. If you're an ube lover or just want something fun, colorful, and genuinely delicious, Soft Swerve always delivers. This is one of those spots you bring friends to just to watch their eyes widen at first bite. Elite-approved. Sweet tooth approved. Mood-lifting guaranteed.

Omg, the I've soft serve was amazing! They had a great $1 vanilla soft serve deal with a side of mochi, SCORE. Many fun Asian inspired flavored I'd love to try. Service was very pleasant. Will definitely go back. Cozy booth like setup and looked clean.

The line is long no matter what time you show up at the establishment! It is a very popular spot and the staff does it best to move the line but it takes forever. We showed up at 9:45 pm on Friday night and it still took a bit of time. The soft serve black sesame was all right. However UBE with butter cake won! Also $8.17 is like insane but I know the Chinatown Ice Cream Factory charges the same so ... same your pennies and treat yourself.

What better way to complete dinner than with creamy ice cream! As we were walking the Market Hall to determine our dinner choice, we spotted Soft Swerve and decided that would be the place for dessert. The nice young man allowed us to try a few flavors and I settled on mint and Thai iced tea. Creamy, cold, small batch made and delicious.

I've been a Soft Swerve fan for years, so I'm glad they have a location in Brooklyn at DeKalb Market. Very convenient for grabbing some ice cream when visiting Trader Joe's or shopping elsewhere in the building, especially during this hot weather. They have both soft serve and scooped ice cream, but we mostly come for my kid's favorite, which is the ube soft serve. Service has been quick and friendly, and they've had all the information we needed for our food allergy questions.

Stopped here for a late night snack. There was no line so we were able to order right away and the worker was really nice. Since it's in dekalb market there's a lot of seating around the booth. We got a cup of half yakult and half strawberry lychee. We also got a pint of the hong kong milk tea to take home. The yakult and strawberry lychee were so light and refreshing! The milk tea was amazing! It tasted just like milk tea and the flavor was strong. Definitely coming back here!

Absolutely delicious ice cream! I got the chocolate, which was just a fantastic chocolate, ice cream, and the ube. The ube was possibly my favourite ube ice cream I've had. It was filled throughout with chunks of mochi, which added such an incredible flavour in texture. The price isn't the cheapest, but the scoops are hefty to make up for it.

Lovely ice cream stall in Dekalb Market! They feature a selection of Asian ice cream flavors, including Hong Kong Milk Tea and Black Sesame, as well as different waffle cone flavors. We went during the Dekalb Lunar New Year celebration, and we just waited a few minutes since the line was a few people long. My friend got the Ube ice cream (which is vegan-friendly since she's vegan), and the server was friendly and fast. They had cats hanging on the wall and lanterns up for Lunar New Year, and it felt in place with the bustling ambiance of the rest of the food hall.

Didn't even realize that they have vegan options. They have both ube and pineapple vegan options. The desserts were yummy. I got the ube on a cup and it was creamy and delicious. Next time i stop by I'll try the pineapple sorbet

In the underground of the Albee Square market, this refreshing ice cream shop was there in my time of need. Service is quick, employees are nice, place is nice and have tons of other options. What I got is the Ube Sticky Butter Cake and all I can say is that it's delicious. The thick creamy texture, the flavor of the purple yam hits the spot. Plus there's some chunks of butter cake and blends well with the soft serve. 10/10 Also there are try out options and I do say try the Thai tea flavor. Taste just like the tea itself lol

    Very nice packaging as delivered!

Ordered two ice creams from Dekalb Market! It came with ice packs and really fresh and cold!! Black sesame ice cream was phenomenal!! Full of taste! We also got Matcha ice cream but the milk amount is different? This one melts really fast and honestly this Matcha ice cream is just ok. $8 each. Good experience!

Ube soft serve was delicious! A little pricey at $8 but it was good to share with a friend. In a busy food court with many options too

Came here on a whim for the Thai iced tea. I'd like to think of myself as a Thai iced tea…read moreconnoisseur and it was just okay 6/10. I wasn't a fan of the condensed milk they used, it gave it a weird taste that most Thai iced teas have that I've tried. First time having mango coconut sticky rice - 6.5/10. I was glad the mango was sweet, the rice was fresh, sticky (& blue I don't know why, maybe aesthetics?) since my order was to go (even though I wasn't asked if it should be to go or to stay). I had to pour the coconut cream on everything and the fresh mint on top added a nice freshness. Everything was good but I have yet to understand the hype behind this dish. Service was quick and the ambience was nice, pretty dim in there but brightened by the sunlight from outside which is a plus for me. Overall I would return to try something else!

This is a family owned restaurant and they sell food and also ice cream. Came here to try their ice…read morecream flight after dinner. We came around 8 at night on a Sunday and the restaurants have ample of space but by the time we left around 8:30pm restaurant was crowded. We were surprised. We ordered skyice sampler. The flavors we got were Thai tea, ube mascarpone, black sesame seaweed, white miso almonds, and honey ginger. The presentation of the Thai tea scoop was the same as years ago when I came here it also included two chocolate graham crackers. The black sesame seed taste interesting. It was both savory and sweet at the same time. They also include two little pieces of nori on top of the scoop. Too much surprised the white me so almonds didn't taste that strong. It has very mild taste. Didn't really taste the miso. The honey ginger on the other hand when you first tasted it it taste a mile but when you swallow it, the ginger started to stay in your mouth. They also include ginger candy pieces. Overall, I like the flavors that I choose and will come back again to try other flavors.
