Not just Cuban but also a wide variety of popular South American dishes. I had my go to roast pork, sweet plantains, black and, and white rice. Not a HUGE plate of food but good solid portion along with a side salad. my BF got the Venezuelan shredded beef dish. We started off by splitting a ginormous & absolutely delicious Venezuelan cheese empanadas and ended with a Nutella empanada. Super clean restaurant with a very friendly staff. Set up like Panera- you come in and order then your food is brought out to you. Would definitely come back again. read more

My complimentary bumper magnet reads #lovesofrito and that pretty much summarizes this place... The staff is friendly enough and helps to orient you on their business model. You order from a counter, pay and the food is delivered by a waiter. Everyone enjoyed their meals and Service was fast and efficient... While the meals were tasty, my Churasco steak needed to be returned to the kitchen for further cooking - I ordered "medium" but it arrived as what could barely be classified as "rare" ... Seriously, I would have enjoyed a medium rare steak but this steak was still moo-ing ... The most undercooked steak ever; wasn't even close to medium-rare. They happily took it back, cooked it further and freshened up my plate. They apologized and explained that they prefer to undercook as opposed to overlooking steaks - while I appreciate that, I've never experienced a more (almost uncooked) rare steak anywhere (except when I visited France some 20 years ago). Why four stars you ask? When it was returned to the table and cooked as ordered it was sublime and the sides were delicious. The Nutella empanadas for dessert were tremendously awesome, especially for a chocolate / Nutella lover. The atmosphere is nice, not "divey" as it is classified as on Yelp. Kids dishes were all consumed without a single complaint ... In a chain-crowded restaurant area like Orlando, this place offers a great alternative with authentically done, quality food and friendly service. read more

Our first impression of this restaurant is walking up to the point of sale to order from a man who seemed pretty sick with some kind of a cold. Especially in food service, that's not a great way to start your day. Since he wasn't the one directly handling our food we decided to go ahead and order anyways. He didn't have a great attitude, which I can understand if I had to work while sick too. I ordered a cafe con leche, which ended up being luke warm at best when it got to me. The BEC sandwich I ordered was somewhat tasty. The chicken empanada was okay. Fine for a spot to stop in near Disney, but the last thing you want is to eat where people are sick. read more

I am really glad we tried this place on our last night in Orlando. It was a perfect latin meal. We had the churrasco and rotisserie chicken which were both amazing. You can pick 3 sides with churrasco. I recommend black beans as one of them. Steak was cooked to perfection and topped off with chimichurri sauce. Rotisserie chicken was moist and flavorful. I definitely recommend checking this place out. I am knocking one star for their service though. They seemed to be short staffed and were struggling to run the place smoothly. You order at the counter as you walk in and get a number. You then have to find a table. We had to flag the waiter couple times to clean our table. They were french fries and trash on the floor which he moved to the side with his feet. When other customers arrived he moved the same fries again to seat them. read more

If you are questioning going here or not I would wholeheartedly recommend this place. This food is hands down some of the best Spanish food I've had and it has all different kinds of foods. I cannot fathom why this place doesn't completely have five stars as there is nothing about it I could change. I went with four people; the tapas were warm and delicious and our food arrived promptly and tasted amazing. I cannot imagine returning to disney springs without visiting again. You order at the front then find yourself a table and they bring out your food and are extremely helpful. We ordered the following all of which we would strongly recommend: Pollo a La Plancha,Churrasco Steak,Argentinian Empanada,Chicken Empanada,Fried Yucca,MadurosPollo a La Plancha, Camarillo al allijo, AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND MINI TEQUEÑOS Will return as soon as I can. read more

I visited here with my family for breakfast. Severely disappointed. Everything looked appetizing on the menu. You come in and order from the front and they give you a number and they bring you the food at the table. There was 5 of us and we ordered two ham and cheese omelet, one avocado toast, waffles, and a deseyuno criolla. Also a side of empanada. Three of our meals came out first. The omelets and the criolla. The criolla was flavored well and tasted good. The only issue is that it was all kind of room temp. Omelets, looked good and everyone said it was pretty decent. We had to wait for atleast another 5 minutes before my cousin's avocado toast came. The avocado toast wasn't even toasted. It came on cuban bread which was fine but it wasn't toasted. She said the flavor was good she just wished it was toasted. She said it's soggy. The waffle itself was the very last thing to come out and it took over 10 minutes for it. It was stale and hard. Like it was cooked days ago and then just put on a plate and sauced. It wasn't even warm or anything. It was for the kid too and it took so long. He ended up not even liking it. The empanadas came last. They had forgotten about it. To their credit, they gave us an extra for the mistake. It was flavored very well but it was really really dry. The meat was dry. Oh also, the servers never brought us our waters. Had to ask for it multiple times. I finished my meal before the water even came. All the food looked nice and the servers were nice enough but I wouldn't come back here. Service was very very under mediocre and flavor of the food was the only thing that saved it. Just the flavor. Everything else about the food was terrible. read more

Terrible experience with service, food was ok. You have to place the order yourself on a virtual kiosk and then a waiter/waitress brings you the food. Then they never come back to you. Service was non existent beyond them just bringing you the food. I had to ask for utensils, plates, napkins, and to bring the dessert we ordered. Had to call them for any extra drinks. Literally all they do is bring the food and you're on your own after that. They get their tip when you order at the kiosk so they are not even trying to be helpful since already got their tip. Call me old fashioned but I would like to interact with a human that I am tipping. read more

Great Culinary Tour of Latin America Too many delicious choices. Had the Venezuelan chicken empanada, mini tequenos with garlic cilantro sauce, and domino arepas with black beans and cheese. Loved the sopa de pollo from the Dominican Republic that was steamy hot and full of chicken, potatoes and carrots. Vegetarian patacon sandwich which used fried green plantains as the "bread" and the cachapa sweet corn pancake filled with a handmade soft white cheese were addictively delicious Venezuelan options. Add a side of fried plantains to complete the meal. Fed our family of five for $60 including a beer. The staff was great and dinner was very relaxed. Excellent local find in the midst of a tourist trapped area full of chain restaurants. While Disney World visitors head to Olive Garden or Applebees, I'll be eating at this gem. It's a fast-casual restaurant, where you order first and find your table second. I have only eaten Cuban food a few times, and obviously no expert, but the menu items looked authentic. We ordered a Cuban sandwich and a Amedianoche sandwich. Both were flavorful, melt-in-your mouth good. The yucca fries had a delicious chimichurri sauce, which compliented the crispy texture of the fries. I wish they had a full bar, but I'll happily drink the wine. read more

We were staying at a Holiday Inn near Disney Springs so we decided to come here for a late dinner. One of the best decisions made here. We did a late night walk through the shopping center and landed here around 9:50 pm. It was pretty late and we worried there would be no seats but we were seated promptly. The establishment was very ambient, cozy, and well furnished. I liked the warm, glowing atmosphere of the restaurant. The server was extremely polite and took our order quite soon. We were starving after a long day but the food came out in around 20ish minutes which wasn't too bad. The serving sizes were quite huge. We didn't expect this much food for two portions. For $34 per plate, the dishes were large and came with a large helping of sides. The fried chicken was extremely crispy and juicy. They originally wanted to serve the food quickly/more fresh so they served a chicken thigh to me after on a second plate. They also forgot my substitution of Mac n cheese for mash potatoes so I got a free helping of mash which was sweet. The pickled cucumber was light and fresh which tasted great with the heavier chicken. The potatoes were a little heavy and I wish came with gravy, but still delicious. I really loved the Mac n cheese and finished that up. The chicken steak was also delicious with the grits but a little too salty. Wish they added the grits to the side for me to dip as it became a little too much at times. It was better to eat it with a side of potatoes to balance the flavor. The broccolini was sautéed perfectly and delicious, could eat a whole plate of those alone. The biscuits weren't bad but tasted better eaten with the potatoes. The food was a little heavy but so so good. We had to take half of the food to our hotel and ate it the next day for dinner as it was way too much food for one meal. Even after microwaving it, the food was just as delicious and flavorful. We spent about $80 but had so much food leftover. An expensive dinner, but everything tasted amazing. Would definitely come back if I had the chance.

We walked into a packed dining/bar area and…read morenoticed a sign stating that the patio would be closed off for a private event for Hispanic and Latinx Heritage Month. We later saw them setting up tents and a bounce house. It looked really fun. We found ourselves a spot near the perimeter of the room and began reviewing the menu. There are a lot of varied options available to please any palate. We are at a brewing company, but I don't really like beer, so I opted for the Pirate's Punch cocktail. It was fruity and very reminiscent of a classic rum punch. Hubby likes light beer, so he ordered the 16oz Celebration Light Lager at the suggestion of our server, Missy. He enjoyed it very much. The vibe was very casual, social and fun. They have table and board games available for you to play with friends and I'm pretty sure that had the patio been open, they had some outdoor games available as well. There was music playing and folks talking and celebrating birthdays, so it was a little loud, but not annoyingly so. It was very upbeat and sunny to match the beautiful day. I was torn between The Big Salad, which my body was so desperately craving, and the Queens Calzone, my heart's desire! So you know I had to order both, and I topped the salad with grilled salmon! What?! We were on vacation! I'm not sure if the salad was big, or if the plate was just small, but I ate half of it there and took the other half home. The salmon was cooked nicely and the salad and dressing was refreshing. The calzone was crisp on the outside, but the cheese wasn't quite melted on the inside. I took a couple of "taster bites" but opted to take the rest home to be reheated and properly melted. I shared some with my husband as well and he observed that the bites just weren't balanced. I agreed. One bite was a stack of chopped ham and nothing else. Another would be completely different. I wish the filling would've been mixed and spread throughout so that you could get some of everything in each bite. I was most impressed by what my husband ordered. I don't mean to toot my own horn, but he loves my cooking so much that restaurant fare does not usually float his boat. He ordered the Korean Noodle Bowl with Shrimp and he absolutely loved it! I noticed at least two other people at surrounding tables having that dish as well, so it must be popular. He loved the level of heat and flavor. He wanted to "dog it down" but saved a small portion for me to try later, just as research and development for me to reverse engineer it and create for him at home! I love the challenge and the inspiration. Any meal that can impress him gets two thumbs up from me! He felt that it needed a little something on the side, so he also ordered some crostini for dipping. They sell beer steins, stickers, buttons, hats, t-shirts, etc. and we saw some t-shirts that we liked (Oktoberfest themed), so we grabbed those as well. They ran us about $30 each, but it will help us commemorate our time in the area. Overall, we enjoyed some good food in a fun atmosphere and would definitely return if ever in the area again.

You can tell that the servers here take pride in what they do and it consistently shows. It is the only brewery within about 20-30 minutes. It is right off of I-4, has plenty of parking and if you have an EV, there are charging stations in their parking lot. It has been a while since I reviewed this brewery and I can honestly say Celebration Brewing is one of my favorites. Heck, it is the only brewery anywhere near Disney. Celebration Brewing Company is no different from anything in life, eventually it has to change. Some changes have made me happy, while others have left me both sad, disappointed and confused. Mostly sad though. Let's start with all the great things they have going on here. First, this is like a restaurant which has great craft beer, specialty cocktails, wine and spirits. I wouldnt say a full bar, but they can accomplish most mixed drinks and have a few specialty cocktails of their own. There is both inside and outside seating and plenty of it, as well as seating at the bar. As far as decor, the BEER sign is iconic. There are so many photos opportunities here. And, despite what I am about to say, Celebration Brewing Co is a solid 4 stars consistently. Now I will talk about some of my personal concerns about the brewery. This is my whine time disclaimer. To start, the food has been hit or miss, but mostly a hit. Their burgers and wings are consistently good. They do change their menu as places do from time to time and the things I really loved about the last menu were recently swapped for less tasty versions. To be exact, the pasta and pizza are not as good. And there is one pizza they had called JAMMIN (absolutely amazing) which they changed to FiG Etabouitit. The latter has a similar combination of ingredients, but is lacking and pales in comparison to the original. The new version is just overly sweet, while JAMMIN was savory, sweet and well balanced. You could actually taste the fig jam before, while the new version legit just tastes like honey. They told me it had fig jam on it, but unless the fig jam they are using now is mostly honey, I am not buying it. The new version is a fail. Lastly, they brew a lot of decent beer here which tastes like what it should be. The Belgians are not as good as I remember, but everything else from lagers to stouts to IPAs, decent representation. Every once in a while though, they come up with some bangers which I absolutely fall in love with (Like GINGY SNAPS), but when I return they have moved onto some other innovative beer. Leaving me feeling like that kid whose parents got divorced and it's all my fault (because I didnt support that beer as consistently as I should). So that is my 2 cents. Hope this helps.

Sofrito Latin Café offers a delightful escape into the vibrant and rich world of Latin American flavors. Located in a cozy, inviting space, the restaurant captures the essence of Latin cuisine with a modern twist. The atmosphere is casual yet lively, with bright decor that instantly transports you to a warm, tropical destination. The menu is a celebration of Latin American staples, featuring a mix of classic and innovative dishes. The mofongo is a standout--fried plantains mashed to perfection and paired with savory meats or seafood, making for a comforting and flavorful dish. The arroz con pollo (rice with chicken) is another favorite, with tender, seasoned chicken and a perfectly cooked rice base that's rich in flavor. For appetizers, the tostones (crispy fried green plantains) served with a tangy garlic dipping sauce are addictive, and the empanadas are equally delicious, with a crispy exterior and savory fillings. The salsa bar offers a nice variety of dipping sauces that complement the bold flavors throughout the meal. One of Sofrito's highlights is its cocktail selection, with expertly crafted mojitos, margaritas, and their signature Sofrito Punch, all featuring fresh ingredients and a strong Latin flair. It's the perfect way to start the meal or end it with a sweet note. Service is warm and attentive, with staff offering helpful recommendations and a genuine enthusiasm for the food they serve. Prices are reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes, making it a great option for both casual outings and special occasions. Overall, Sofrito Latin Café is a must-visit for anyone looking to explore the bold, flavorful world of Latin cuisine. With a mix of delicious food, refreshing drinks, and a welcoming ambiance, it's easy to see why this place is a favorite for many. read more

Staff at Sofrito have asked me to write a review. Here it is: We was attracted by the name "Sofrito", especially because my two companions are actually Puerto Rican and they were craving for Puerto Rican food. First thing we asked was for the famous Mofongo, they said that they have it. We ordered a Shrimp mofongo and a Pork mofongo, myself I ordered Roast Pork. While we wait for it we got some empanadas that were delicious, and other appetizers really good. When we got the entrees there was the problem. The mofongo was cold and we doubt about it that it was made on premises. About my roast pork, I was not able to eat it. I try a couple of pieces and I left it in the plate almost untouched. I have never had such a hard rock pieces of pork with a microwave reheated test. Because I am honest i told the server right away. We ended up not eaten our entrees because my companions had similar issues. I was drinking beer and my companions coconut soda. Because the bad test of the food was in our mouth before we left, we ask for one coconut soda to wash it down. We paid our bill in full, even if we did not eat the food, and we left. Can you believe that they rushed out asking us to pay for the last can of soda? Obviously this people does not have any restaurant experience ! Any restaurant if you leave the food untouched will have some kind of compensation, some others will not even charge you for the food you did not eat !. But they didn't care ! they still want to get paid 1,50 for the soda. UNBELIEVABLE!!! read more

Lunch at Sofritos was nothing short of spectacular, just as it always is. From the moment we stepped in, the inviting atmosphere and the rich aromas of the kitchen set the tone for what would be a delightful culinary experience. We kicked off our meal with some refreshing bubbly that sparkled in our glasses, adding a celebratory touch to the occasion. The standout dish was undoubtedly the delightful croquetas. Each bite was a perfect blend of creamy, savory goodness, and they were complemented by a zesty dipping sauce that intensified the flavors. But the real highlight was the amazing arepa. Stuffed to perfection, it was a harmonious mix of textures and flavors that transported us straight to culinary bliss. The warmth of the arepa coupled with the fresh ingredients made it feel like a warm embrace on a plate. As we enjoyed our light lunch, we exchanged stories and laughter, feeling rejuvenated and energized for the rest of the day. There's something incredibly uplifting about a meal shared with good company, and nothing beats the vibrant charm of Sofritos to kickstart our afternoon. #Florida #Orlando #yelpelite #sofritoslatincafe read more

I went to Sofrito Latin Cafe for lunch today and had an incredible experience. This place knows how to make real Latin food that hits all the right spots - everything was fresh, flavorful, and made you feel like family. I tried the churrasco steak with yuca and maduros. The steak was perfectly grilled with a nice char on the outside but still juicy inside. It came with this amazing chimichurri sauce that had just the right amount of garlic and herbs. The yuca was creamy and buttery, and those sweet plantains were caramelized to perfection. Even though it was busy during lunch rush, the energy was positive and welcoming. What impressed me was the attention to detail. My coffee came in a proper cup and saucer, the bread was warm, and everything was seasoned perfectly. You can taste the difference when people take pride in their cooking. For $19, I got a huge meal that was restaurant quality but felt homemade. I'm already telling my friends about this place - it's exactly what Orlando needs more of. read more

We visited this place three years ago and had a fantastic experience, so we were excited to return. Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing. When we ordered lunch to go, we encountered several issues during pickup, but we assumed it was just a one-time problem. We decided to give it another try and came in for dinner today. Sadly, things only got worse. Winni took our order incorrectly, was noticeably rude, and overcharged us. When we asked her to correct the mistake, she responded with an attitude rather than an apology. When the food finally arrived, it was extremely bland and lacked any flavor. To top it off, we ordered dessert, but it was never brought out--we had to specifically ask for it. Overall, this visit was nothing like our first and left us very disappointed. We do not recommend this place anymore. read more

For starters, don't expect a server, you order at the counter and they bring the food to you. Ordered a steak dish and the pice was small and dry after I wanted it cooked medium. The small piece I got was $15 for lunch. *Important - Do not take your significant other to this place! Gentleman at the counter kept pushing salsa dance lessons and after 3 times of my wife telling him no thank you, he asked if she was Puerto Rican and then followed that up with asking if her and I were together. When he asked that is, we mentioned Yelp. Cute bar atmosphere. Felt very comfy. I believe the owner served us. We ordered a lot. In order of what we had: blood sausage: phenomenal. great spice. Good texture. beef: I loved it but others may not. We got to choose doneness and I got medium well. Chewy but nice crust. Normally bbq doesn't ask so I was very happy. ribs: decent. not too much to say. Soft. Corn (side): crunchy corn with cheese was good, though patties were thicc. Little too much for me. ASK FOR THEIR SAUCES. THEY ARE FIRE. They had a spicy, a creamy, and a salsaish one. All 3 were so good. I loved it. especially the spicy one. Decent value for price. I would say I'd come again but I'm on vacation! Worth a trip for sure.

For lunch we ordered the ceviche. Thank goodness we shared it because it's massive! Sweet potatoes, fried calamari, and tostones all came with it. We barely finished it between the two of us. Our friends ordered the prime rib and the traditional dish of Cazuela de frijoles. The prime rib steak was pretty fatty. But they ate most of it. The traditional dish was also huge! She had a lot of leftovers to take home. While we were eating a man came in to preform on the stage. He played guitar and sang. It wasn't too loud, and we were right next to the stage. Our waiter was very nice. He was also making the drinks. I had a passion fruit juice. It was delicious but I think they use something processed, out of a plastic bottle that they add water to... I would probably go back. The prices are very reasonable and the food and service is very good.

The bartender was a bit serious that's why I gave this place a 4, yet in his defense it was only 2 bartenders for a full house so it bot have been overwhelming. It was conveniently located nearby and turned out to be a wonderful breakfast stop. The atmosphere was cozy, welcoming, and relaxing, which was exactly what we needed in the morning. The staff gave us such a warm welcome and were very patient while we took our time looking through the menu and deciding what to order. For drinks, we ordered the 3 Mocha, a cappuccino, and a matcha latte, and everything tasted great. The mocha in particular was excellent, it had such a rich, naturally delicious flavor that it honestly didn't need any additional sweetness. For breakfast, we ordered the Breakfast Club, Avocado & Egg Salad Sandwich, and Mushroom Avocado & Vegan Sausage Breakfast Burrito. Everything was delicious, and the portions were excellent and very satisfying. There was a great variety of flavors across the dishes, and everyone at the table found something they really enjoyed. Overall, Moma's Cafe was a great breakfast experience from start to finish. Between the cozy atmosphere, welcoming staff, delicious drinks, and generous portions, it's definitely a place we would happily return to the next time we're in the area. A breakfast spot worth repeating!

The restaurant looked like it was only at half capacity (seating). The cashier was polite/friendly. It's sad to see a restaurant turn away customers. There were at least 8 parties that came and left because they didn't want to wait. I guess for a business that's a good problem to have. ‍ Giving three stars because the ambiance was nice, cashier seemed friendly, menu had a nice selection for brunch, speciality drinks/coffee. Next time I'm in town and try the food I can give additional two stars if the food is worth it.

We got out table right away and we received chanchita chulpi immediately. It was really good because it tasted very fresh. The order took a bit longer than expected and I noticed that it happened to all the tables. I tried the makis acevichados. The taste was good, but they are not the peruvian makis I have tried for years in Peru. This was something different, but still good. The tacu tacu with lomo saltado, though. It was really good. I liked when it comes with a tick sauce instead of just water. The tacu tacu may have needed to get crispy a little bit, but the flavor was amazing. Finally, they only have option of glass of chicha morada. The taste was really good, I could feel the spices.
