I really like eating at this restaurant. The ingredients for all of the food seems extremely fresh and every dish has been very flavorful. Best of all for me, there's a large selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes offered. Of course for those meat eaters it can't get any better than this place. The alcoholic drinks are very good, but for some reason there's a lot of ice and a lot of glass and the drinks don't last. My husband and I got the Cuban sand which with ham, pulled pork Swiss cheese and pickles on crispy Cuban bread. Best ever! Both of us were only able to eat half but saved the rest. Let's talk about Sofrito! I loved the food! My friend and I ordered the patacón with shredded beef and it was really good. The services was good as well... I didn't give them 5 stars as we order some of the natural juice and neither my friend and I thought it was completely natural. It was good tho and we we drink it all. But not really wat we were hoping for. I also order coffee towards the end of our visit and that was also ok. I got the cafe con leche iced and it was mainly milk, which I don't really like. Even if my coffee is iced I like to taste the coffee a bit more. I'm really picky with my coffee so I encourage you to try it , you might have a different experience. I got a Peruvian lomo soltado and a peach moscato. The food arrived fairly quickly and the portions were HUGE! We sat outside for a late lunch.... the first thing i noticed was the patio floor, it was covered in filth! Not very pleasant... then as we were eating the worst possible scene at the restaurant, we witnessed 2 little rats running on the side of us. they were chasing each other and both jumped inside the big white columns that lead inside the restaurant. Terrible experience with service, food was ok. You have to place the order yourself on a virtual kiosk and then a waiter/waitress brings you the food. Then they never come back to you. Service was non existent beyond them just bringing you the food. I had to ask for utensils, plates, napkins, and to bring the dessert we ordered. Had to call them for any extra drinks. Literally all they do is bring the food and you're on your own after that. They get their tip when you order at the kiosk so they are not even trying to be helpful since already got their tip. Before the parks, we stopped at Sofritos and chowed down on a ginormous delicious breakfast. We split the Omelet de Jamon y Queso (ham&cheese omelet, bacon, fried yuca, and Cuban Toast. You walk in and they hand you their menu and explain how everything works. Basically you look at the menu and order right there at the register. You can sit down while you decide, which I would suggest in case it gets busy. After you order they give you a number and you wait at your table, then they bring the food to you. We ordered a big selection to do a taste test and glad we did.
