Friendly and helpful service and a great breakfast! You can order at a screen or from a live person, take a number, have a seat and they bring it out to you. We had Chicken Cuban Empanadas, Cuban Pastelitos, B.E.C., Omelet de Jamon y Queso, Yellow Rice and a delicious Iced Latte. Everything was delicious. Can't wait to come back for lunch!! read more

On e you go to this restaurant you'll see why it's highly rated. It's clean, service is great, plenty of different seating options inside or out, food is amazing and set at a fair price. I've been here multiple times, always impressed. This time ordered the pulled beef entre, chicken soup and the Argentinan beef empanada. All amazing but I was extremely impressed by the chicken soup, so authentic and had a lot of chicken! All their portion sizes are great, I love it. I'll be back, see you next time!! read more

Visiting from So Cal and came here with my family! I'm Cuban and thought my standards might be too high for this place... but it was so good! We got the Cuban pork, chicken breast, kids' burgers, and Colombian burger... all delicious! Kids' burger is huge... my 2 boys could have probably shared. We had great service and enjoyed sitting on the patio. Thank you! read more

This place is muy deliciosa! Even takeout that isn't the best way to experience a restaurant was outstanding. We had several things - roast pork, steak, a burger, a cachapa, various sides. It was all good. Roast pork, fried and boiled yucca and the red beans were standouts to me, and I would probably drink the cilantro garlic mojo given an opportunity. Definitely check it out! read more

This was the best breakfast of our stay! The food was so fresh, delicious and bursting with flavor. The coffee was exactly what I was craving made perfectly. We had our little one with us and she enjoyed the ham croquettes they were perfect for her and we loved them too. The service was awesome even though it's an order and seat yourself they still provided great service. Thank you for the best meal and atmosphere we could have asked for. read more

I was told about this restaurant by my hotel staff at the Delta Hotel. Great Staff, Good Hotel with LOUSY ROOM KEYS that have to be reprogrammed 13 times every 30 hours. (different review coming for them) The Staff at Sofrito was FANTASTIC and FRIENDLY. I ordered the Churrasco, medium rare, and that is EXACTLY how it came out. It was perfectly seasoned and the chimichurri was VERY WELL put together. The white rice with black beans was absolutely perfect...reminded me of my abuelita's cooking...LITERALLY brought a smile to my face, as I closed my eyes and envisioned her preparing dinner in the kitchen when I was a child... The sweet plantains, (maduros), were PHENOMENAL, with exactly the amount of crunchy sweetness on the outside from the caramelization and sweet tenderness on the inside. The Coconut Flan was VERY GOOD...not as good as my sister-in-law's, but REALLY CLOSE!!! GOING BACK TONIGHT FOR DINNER!!! read more

We came from out of town for the local amusement parks. After a full day at one of the parks, in the rain and the heat, we were tired and looking for a place to eat where we could eat well but eat somewhat light. This restaurant came up in the search on Yelp, and we saw that they had Cuban sandwiches. We decided to give it a try. We have had Cuban sandwiches before and liked them very much. We also tried one of the appetizers which was kind of like a potato meatball. We can't remember the name. The sauce that came with it was also very good and we dipped our French fries in the sauce after we finished the appetizer. There were four of us and we were able to split two Cuban sandwiches among the four of us and it was the perfect amount of food for us. The sandwiches were delicious. We felt like this was the perfect food to end our day. We would highly recommend this restaurant. read more

Ambiance is wonderful and the menu has a lot of great options but that where it ends. We had the Carrasco which was super salty. Also, ordered an Arepa Saltado. The meat was hard and the arepa was thin and firm like a disc. So disappointing. The beef and chicken Argentinian empanadas lack flavor. I hope it was just an off day for the place because I heard great things. Will be back again to give it a second chance. Hopefully that turn my opinion of the place. read more

Loved this place. Ordered 5 things. Cortadito was amazing. Churros took forever and we had to go catch a show. Tried canceling and they refunded me and gave me the churros on the house. That is great customer service! I don't remember if the two savory pastries are arepas or empanadas. The colombian one was stale. The venezuelan was freshly fried. Delicious! The tripleta was not good. Barely had any potato sticks. The ham? Just look at it. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area. read more

Can't leave Florida without eating authentic Cuban food, right? We found Sofrito Latin cafe in Yelp. They had a 4.3 star rating and over 2300 reviews. Yelpers did not disappoint in steering us here! The food we had was delicious and authentic. Hubby had the vegetarian main event with black beans and yellow rice and I had the salmon main event with black beans and regular rice! Both were served with fresh green salad and maduros! I immediately poured my black beans over my rice and enjoyed the perfectly cooked medium grilled salmon with it. So yummy!!! The dining room was very clean and roomy. The staff is friendly and helpful. You can order at the register or at the multiple kiosk which makes it very efficient. What we loved was the manager or possibly the owner came out to ask how everything was! This was very impressive and a great touch for great customer service! Highly recommend if you are in Orlando! read more

Amazing little cafe. We found this place while on a trip to Orlando. You order at a kiosk and they bring the food right to your table. So good we came by twice! I spent a week in Orlando with the family and we were craving authentic home-cooked meals (needed a break from theme park food). We came across Sofrito Latin Cafe and we were not disappointed! Everything we tried was fantastic. I got so excited about this place that I forgot to take photos! I'll start by saying I was impressed with all of the drinks our party ordered. They were some of the best drinks I've had in Florida and were priced very fairly. I highly recommend the mojito flight, as each of the unique flavor drinks was a hit. The ordering experience was also really streamlined. You order at the counter or one of the kiosk stations and the servers bring the food out to your table. The kiosks were clutch because they had pictures for all the dishes, but be warned the portions are larger than they appear in the photos! Another huge plus. We ordered the Churrasco Steak, Patacon, yucca fries, and ham croquettes. Only reason for docking a star is that 1. We ordered a margarita frozen and it came out on the rocks 2. One of the food orders did not come out and we had to request the status. The food was good, but what really stood out were the drinks here. ALSO check in here! There's a coupon at this time! read more

So far so good! I started a new job nearby, and this place was recommended by all my coworkers. They recommended their baked items, but I wanted to try a main dish. I have to say, their oven roasted chicken, as plain as it sounds, was delicious! Idk how they managed to keep the inside of the chicken soft, while the skin was thin and crispy. Most chicken with crispy skin are dry inside. If they can serve chicken this well, I look forward to their other dishes. More deets: - Their decor is clean and modern. - Water and utensils are self serve. - Outdoor seating available. - You can order at the front counter or with their electronic kiosk. Small inconveniences: - My only complaint is that parking is limited. - Noise level is very high, since they get lots of tourists with children. read more

Awesome find! Friendly staff meets you to order/pay. Good variety of dishes at decent prices. Open space, relaxed atmosphere. There were several families as well as a few solo travelers and what appeared to be locals. A good mix. I had the Peruvian chicken. It came with salad (with a delicious house dressing), and I chose plantains, yellow rice and red beans as sides. The chicken was perfect. I forgot to order any sauce to go with it, but it was great by itself and the dressing from the salad. Yellow rice very good, plantains sweet and moist. Red beans were good, though I'd probably choose black beans next time around. Overall, a delicious, filling, healthy but not heavy meal, about $20 with tax. read more

A wonderful restaurant in Orlando just north of Disney Springs. According to their website this restaurant was founded in 2015 and states, "Latin Countries Around The World Are Known For Their Unique Flavors And Delicious Cuisine, But There Is One Element Which Binds Them All Together - Sofrito." This is a hidden gem of a place. It is located just north of Disney Springs in a small shopping center. Parking is limited but you should be able to find a parking space. The restaurant takes up easily to 1/2 of the shopping center with a covered outside eating area and inside dining area with large windows allowing a lot of natural light. You enter and order at one of 3 computers and take a number to your table. The tables are wood and the chairs are steel. There are about 11 6-person tables in the inside eating area. There is a bar at the back of the restaurant. I ordered a pear salad and a Cuban sandwich. They arrived within about 10 minutes. The food was absolutely delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place was clean, and the prices were great. I hope that they will open other locations but, in the meantime, I plan to visit this location again and highly recommend it to my fellow travelers looking for a really good taste of Latin cuisine. Enjoy! read more
