Staying fairly close to the location and wanted to try some of its food to the locals(visiting from California). Upon entering hostesses (Taylor) wasn't welcoming, maybe it was because they have a self ordering kiosk. The ambiance is carried well with the music. The bartender(Hayley) was rude when we asked for our delayed drinks. Food was delicious, recommend everything we ordered (see pictures). The Cuban Libre was on point. Check out this place if in the area. read more

You order as you walk In reminds me a fast food restaurant then They ask you for a tip‍ and they give you a number and bring the food to your table. Not much of a service to tip for. The food cane out before the drinks so we had to wait !! So our food got cold. Needless to say, I will not be coming back read more

Food was good. Wait staff seemed a little out of sorts...probably just having a bad day.

This place has a spacious indoor and outdoors. You can order on the kiosk and they bring out the food pretty quick. The food was good, but everything was a little underseasoned. I didn't mind personally but others had to put extra salt and pepper. read more

We were a medium size party with littles and wanted some good authentic food that wasn't too expensive and could fill us up after a long day at the adventure parks. This place got rave reviews, so we hit it up and it did not disappoint. The set up was interesting as you go up and order your food and drinks and then later they give it to you. It was nice so that we could just get it all done and paid for and rally the kiddos to their seats. There was no one outside and we didn't want to be loud so we asked if we could sit out there and it was great! They had warmers, high walls to keep up in and safe, the kids got to run around and eat and we got to have some great food and drinks and wind down from a full day. Everything was delicious, the meat, the seafood, the bananas, the rice, full of flavor and spicy and just what we needed. I would love to try this place again. read more

Wow! This place has such amazing food AND even better service. Thank you Valentina for making our experience such a great one, you have the best customer service, we appreciate you a lot. We ordered the Argentinian beef empanada (not pictured), the ham croquettes (not pictured), the seafood mariscos soup, tees leches cake, 2 sodas. Such good flavor & OMG the chimichurri! I love added sauces and the chimichurri was so flavorful! Definitely a great meal to end our Disney trip in Orlando. read more

I chose this place to eat because of the Yelp reviews and also because I overheard someone at Volleyball Nationals raving about how delicious the food is. The servers were very helpful. I ordered the Cuban roast pork which was tender, well seasoned, and delicious. It melts in your mouth. The portion size was great and I was able to take half of it home for dinner. The potatoes and yellow rice were cooked well and complemented the meal perfectly. I do have to rave about the plantains. I've been to other places and they weren't always my favorite; however, I LOVED them here. When I placed these plantains in my mouth, they reminded me of Filipino Turon (bananas wrapped in egg roll wrapper and fried). It was delicious. The outer part of the plantains had a nice, somewhat sticky texture. It was like dessert! I highly recommend this place. The ambiance was nice and I loved their decor with the basket lighting above and a beautiful place to sit outside if you so choose. Service was great and they walked around asking if you needed anything. Very polite and helpful! If you're looking for a Latin place, this is it--Peruvian, Cuban, Argentinian, etc. They have many options! read more

Came across Sofrito by accident and are glad we did! Fast casual restaurant near WDW. The skirt steak, shrimp, rice, empanadas were all amazing! The service was also very attentive. This will be a regular stop for us when we are in town! read more

Ordered some sandwiches and side items, they were fresh and tasty, although we really believed they needed more seasoning. Portion sizes were generous! This is a fast casual restaurant - no wait staff. You place your own order at the host stand, then take a seat and wait for a staff member to drop off your food. Despite the fact that several staff members walked past our table and we flagged them down....they ignored our requests. (more sauce, some ice for the drinks, etc) The irony? This is one of those places that asks you to tip in advance. For what? what are you tipping for? For someone to bring your food? well how else are you going to eat it if they don't bring it to you? lol. As long as you don't have service expectations, you can get a decent meal here in a tourist location...so there's that. read more

What a pleasant surprise! A trendy restaurant with a casual feel. First thing we noticed was the multi-cultural crowd. Very diverse just like the food selection. Decor is like an upscale restaurant, very nice. The menu has many dishes from many different Latin countries. We ordered at the kiosk and then took a number and sat down. Staff was very hospitable and the manager came over and checked in us. We ordered the Camarones al Ajillo, a Puerto Rican dish; a Venezuelan Empanada; and Cuban Mini Quesitos. The Camarones (Shrimp) was some of the best we have ever eaten. (Being from Louisiana that says a lot.) I believe they were Royal Red Shrimp. The flavor was outstanding and perfectly cooked. It came with a choice of 3 sides so we ordered: a house salad that had the most amazing dressing on it. (Tasted like a lemon garlic vinagrette.); tostones with an amazing dipping sauce; and yellow rice. The whole meal was a tasty experience. Ordered Coffee Americana and had the Mini Quesitos for dessert. The coffee was def some of the best I ever had at a restaurant. Both the Coffee and Quesitos were full of flavor and top notch. Def highly recommend if you are in the Orlando area. Would drive a piece to eat here for sure. Look forward to visiting again when in area. Simply amazing! read more

Authentic Caribbean food. We ordered churrasco for dinner and were transported to the time we went to Puerto Rico for an extended period of time. When you come in you will order and pay for your food. They provide you a number and your food will be brought to the table. The portions are generous. The churrasco comes with three sides and a garden salad. You will not leave hungry. They have nice size tables in and outdoors. We enjoyed the lovely lit patio. It's spacious and they also have space heaters for cold nights. Definitely would recommend the mojitos. read more

Tasty and delicious food and the margaritas are even better. My daughter and I tried the pork chops, the roasted pork and the sides were amazing as well that yellow rice, black beans and empanadas each, and every thing we tasted was packed with so much flavor! I even bought the trio of hot sauces, habanero jalapeño, and scorpion! The bar is fully stocked. So you want a quick bite to eat before you venture to Disneyworld? Sofrito Latin Cafe will happily attend to your needs. Grab a cafe con leche and a cubano and you're set for the day at Disney. But anyway, that aside, you will be served some good food, good coffee, and good vibes here. Order up front, grab a number, and seat yourself while they bring your order. I was feeling like a cuban waffle which was sorta like a cubano but sandwiched with waffles. It surprisingly works well when you're in a breakfast mood. As for their cafe con leche, how could I possibly resist? I need caffeine in my life. Anyway, Sorfrito is no nonsense, simple, and good quality food and drink to get your day going so stop by once or twice or daily. read more

Allow me to add to the 1,700 positive reviews...Good spot for food from all over Latin American, and they mean it, Colombian, Cuban, Puerto Rican, and several others... Chill casual spot...walk up, order your food, drinks (libations), find a table and enjoy. Food was good and service was prompt. I'd recommend perusing the menu Before getting there - that way you don't take 10 minutes to figure out what you want and cause a riot with the folks on line behind you. I'm speaking for a friend who it happened to, not I for sure... To start I had a Cuban Empanada - good stuff. For the main course I had the pernil (roast pork) which was rather tasty and moist (yes I said it, "moist"). All of the sides were on point. To satisfy the thirst I had sangria - quite nice. A bit more on the wine side, but I wasn't complaining. Good atmosphere - it's a Latin place and at first there was soft rock music in the background which threw me off, but they quickly recovered with some reggaeton and other Latin melodies..I mean it is a Latin casual dining restaurant, right??!.. Next time I'll mosey on over to the bar - dine there and chill longer... read more

Shrimp was quite salty and the yuca was very bland. The salad was served with no dressing. I up and left. Very disappointed.

Came here for lunch with friends on our recent trip to Orlando and it was great! It's the type of place where you order your food, take a number and they bring it to your table. The space is very open and clean and they have a large outdoor area. I had a mojito which was very tasty and strong. For my lunch I had the Cuban sandwich with fries and it was delicious. It was quite a large helping so I couldn't even finish it, but the meat was tender and the bread was different but nice. The fries were great. All the stuff were super friendly and helpful. read more

Mic drop restaurant!!! THANK YOU YELP for leading me to one of my new favorite restaurants! The delicious food was hot, tasty , fresh and served within 15 minutes. OMG, the flavors were made me want to say "Well slap my a** and call me Sally". Soooooo delicious. I seriously want to go back and eat a different item each time and see if everything tastes like it was prepared for a cooking contest! Also, their selection of Hot Sauces were hot and delicious and didn't trash you mouth by being too hot, they were perfect! The service was great. Our food was delivered in a timely manner and service was excellent. You do order off a screen and take a number to your table and the food is delivered to you. Table maintenance was great and empty plates were cleared almost immediately! The open seating was surprisingly comfortable and tables weren't packed tight. The noise level was very comfortable and definitely not too loud even though the restaurant was full. I've attached MY pictures and their online published pictures-EXACTLY the same! This place was great and I will visit it again and again!!! I didn't partake this time but their 'Latin' cocktails looked delicious and will definitely be included in my next visit! read more

Passing through the Orlando area & we were feeling a little peckish so we decided to stop at this Latin Café. Interesting set up: when you come in, you place an order via a touchscreen. If you're planning on staying you take a number and you attach that number to your order. Then you sit down and they will bring the food to you. We ordered the Columbian chicken empanadas. Interesting... it comes in a hard corn dough. We found that to be overpowering to the shredded chicken, which was flavorful in itself. They came with a jalapeño relish for dipping. Next time we'll try one of the other types of empanadas that are not made with corn. On the other hand, my sandwich was absolutely divine! I had the Pernil handheld, which is roast pork. What made this so flavorful was the cilantro garlic mojo on the pressed Cuban bread. Yum!! The sandwich is huge as well so I could only eat half of it. Also, had the papa criollo which is roasted baby potatoes. Hard on the outside & soft on the inside. Lovely... Lastly the Café con Leche was very flavorful. I didn't find it bitter at all and I tried it without sugar. Hubby added a little sugar to his cup, and enjoyed it very much that way. Next time we're passing through Orlando, I could see us stopping here even if it's just for takeout. read more

Stop, drop everything, and go try Sofritos now! I was dealing with a relentless craving for some Venezuelan or Colombian food and found this place on Yelp. When I travel I like to try as many different places as I can! Very rarely I go to the same place twice in a row... but I would have gone to this place everyday on my 6 day vacation. THE FOOD HERE IS MUY RICO!! It was seriously a highlight of our trip... we were doing our little happy food dance the whole time during the meal!!! I'm almost tearful writing this knowing I will not be back there because it's on the other side of the country... Everything we had was so freaking amazing. I loved the guava juice, the cachapa, plantains, arepas, roasted pork ( I don't normally like pork but it was highly recommended) and the tres leches cake! PLEASE COME TO CALIFORNIA... Sofrito Latin Cafe was just a walks away from my hotel and I was pleasantly surprised at the ambience, friendly customer service, and amazing food! I came back everyday thereafter haha. I walked-in on a weekday to find two off their staffs say good morning! You can order food and drinks via their tablet upfront or order with their staff. I couldn't read the menus on their screen (bad eyes) so I opt in to order on the tablet. The café caters to breakfast/brunch/lunch options plus a variety of coffees and smoothies. That week I tried all their empanadas. From Argentinian, Valenzuelan, and Cuban! Each day I had a cuban coffee as well. Their food is hot and packed with flavor. You can tell the food was definitely made with care haha. The Cuban coffee is a strong sweet espresso and literally, one is enough. The caffeine content is high and oh so yummy haha. Weekends seem to be busy but you'll still get the same friendly service. Got time on the weekdays? Stay awhile, you won't regret it! read more

I usually love eating here and it's a frequent recommendation I suggest to friends and visitors. The food came out pretty quick considering the sign outside said they were short staffed. They must have expected a large crowd for the Saturday afternoon when i was there. I ordered my usual, the Churrasco. They asked for the cook of my steak and i asked for medium rare. Yes i know it's a skirt steak and pretty difficult to cook that temp but this the first time it wasn't cooked to perfection. My steak was very well done and the chimichurri was overly salted. I ordered a side of yellow rice, sweet plantains, and fried yuca. I was disappointed the yuca was barely room temperature. I didn't want to make a fuss since this was suppose to be a quick lunch. My boyfriend ordered the pork Patacon and it was huge and piping hot. The meat was very flavorful and the fried plantains were crisp and the perfect thickness. Overall I'll still suggest this place and visit again but will be more inclined to try out other things on the menu. read more
