so delicious! best food, and its quick. great place to eat with fam and friends.

Awesome food from Argentina, Venezuela, Cuba and Columbia! Great vegetarian choices too. We visited twice and loved it. Try the empanadas and Columbian burgers. Highly recommended. read more

Came here for breakfast while I was in Orlando for a conference. I ordered an Argentinian spinach and cheese empanada, and a Venezuelan chicken empanada. I was disappointed to find out the prep the items in advance so I wasn't able to order a pabellon arepa with chicken instead of beef. I also ordered a cortadito coffee and it was not good. Very bitter and it's sooo small. I believe it's only 1 oz! The empanadas were ok, a little greasy for me. I would suggest maybe trying them out for lunch/dinner since there are more menu items available. read more

My wife and I come from Asheville, NC. This place is awesome, delicious, and incredible service! We walked in the door and immediately were greeted by staff and welcomed with menu. Soon after another was helping us with recommendations and taking our order in the most attentive and friendly manner. The food came and it wasn't auctioned off, it went right where it was supposed to. The food looked delectable and was plated beautifully and clean. It tasted even better! This will be a place we go to every time we come down for sure! If you haven't been go, you won't regret it! read more

Glad we made the stop! Off the bat the concept is different as you place your order at the counter and once seated it is kind of a self serve idea. You might feel a bit pressured if there are people behind you but you can move to the side, so regulars who know how it works can order. First off they had papa criolla, Colombians know what I am talking about! Little on the pricey side and only about 5-6 but willing to pay for those delish potatoes! They are light on the seasoning/salt which works for me for a better diet, but just know to order salt and pepper shakers before waiter leaves! read more

Good place a bit different but good. You order before taking a seat. Not a bad idea just I think because of that your pretty much on your own after you sit down. Try the Shrimp Al Ajillo (Shrimp in garlic) great flavor and good pricing for the amount of shrimp you get - I was surprised. read more

The food was delicious and the outside patio was a great atmosphere. Would highly recommend!

We were looking for something local/non-chain near Disney, and Sofrito was such a fabulous find. The atmosphere is a great mix of casual and elevated, and the food was utterly delicious and authentic. We ordered a few of the Venezuelan empanadas, which come with this magical, garlicky cilantro sauce. I had the Pargo Rojo with black beans, yellow rice, and plantains - so fresh and yummy. The kids even loved the cheeseburger. Very kid-friendly and wonderful service. Loved this place!! read more

Spot is amazing hands down best Latin spot to eat in Orlando my family eats breakfast lunch and dinner!!!!

I visited Sofrito today for lunch and it was great. It was mi first time and it did took me by surprise when I had to order the food first then find a seat. I work in hospitality and I could be very critical however I have to say that the service and food was phenomenal. I timed to see how long the food was going to take and it was at our table in lees than 15 minutes. I thought it would take longer since my friend and I order the Camarones al ajillo. The taste was on point for everything and the portions aren't exaggerated. Would I'll come back or would I recommended to others, absolutely yes. Great job! read more

The food was great, the staff was great, and I felt like I got value for the price. Probably the best Latin American food I've had in the Orlando area. I'll definitely come back! Great job guys! read more

Great food at a great price. Dinning in option. Give it a shot you won't be disappointed.

Very good red beans in wrought iron dish, sandwich w/ shredded lean beef chopped tomatoes & leaf lettuce & sprinkles of cheese. My husband had a delicious chicken & veggie soup & house salad, more than he could eat. All very fresh! Yummm! read more

Excellent food! My only reason for 4 stars was we only did takeout after long days at Universal but our fussy group all enjoyed the varied menu and tasty dishes. read more

The Colombian empanada taste like a Mexican tortilla and the pandebonos are really small for the price. Service is pretty average. The waiter was too on his phone to really take care of our order. read more

On 12/14/2020 at 5:30 pm the greeter/ girl at the front that takes the order was very rude. When my family of 8 came in to eat. We asked questions to see how it works because we are from out of town. My father asked and the lady right of the back was making noises like lip smacking and sighing when we would ask a question (as if we should already know how it works or what they serve) she repeated to say just sit and look at the menu on your phone because we don't have a menu with a attitude like if we the customers were bothering her. it was so bad only 2 of our party of 8 ordered because they were really hungry the rest had to leave to eat at another restaurant. read more

Food was amazing. So much flavor and the sides were outstanding. The restaurant was clean and very industrial modern. Loved the ordering process and the staff was very nice. Definitely recommend the Venezuelan empanadas and the sandwiches. Don't forget the plantains on the side. We will definitely be back! read more

The cachapa is everything I ever wanted in a meal, the beef so tender and flavorful, homemade cheese, and the bread is a slightly sweet corn bread...so amazing and filling! All for a good portion and fair price, super satisfied! read more

If I lived here this would be the kind of place I would frequent. Clean, modern decor with a cool vibe. It's the kind of place where you order and pay at the counter, then they bring you your food. The prices are good. We enjoyed our Cuban empanadas. My companion had the Cuban sandwich and he liked it; I had the apple and pepita salad--it was good and fresh. read more

Excellent food and good service. The employees checked with us midway through our meal. Most order at the counter, and take a seat places seem to overlook this simple service detail. read more

We really enjoyed our meal here. I got to Colombian burger and it was completely not what I was expecting but in a good way. It was one of the best burgers I had in a wile. I will be back next time I'm in town to try more of the menu. read more

I'm a huge critic of Hispanic food and restaurants just because I eat and cook so much of it. So when my friend took me here, I was a little skeptical. However....it blew my mind how delicious and fun this place is! Unfortunately I get the same thing every time...the Patacon sandwich. Nothing like it anywhere else. That sandwich, plus yuca frita on the side...SO good! Check it out! read more

Excellent pork, sandwiches are phenomenal. Great hosts! The ambeyance is cool. thanks sofrito! read more

Great atmosphere! The food is reasonably priced and delicious! It's definitely a taste from Latin America and try to represent many cultures/backgrounds/countries. Everything we tried was delicious! We had the churrasco, croquetas, patacones and arepas! Very tasty and service was great. Will definitely go again! read more

I was searching for a highly rated restaurant in the area while visiting Disney and this one popped up on Yelp, so my family tried it out. Our appetizer was still frozen in the middle, the rice was super dry, the sauce was pasty, and the grilled chicken had the consistency of rubber and was inedible. Overall I was very disappointed, especially given the high rating. read more

Yes! I visited this place and I loved everything I tasted. The empanadas were excellent along with the sauces that come with them. For my main dish I enjoyed the Lomo Saltado. It was absolutely perfect. This is a must visit for everyone. The staff is ultra friendly and attentive. The ONLY thing missing are margaritas!!! The only reason for not getting 5 stars from me. But the sangrias were awesome!!! And they serve beer and wines. Great job Sofritos!! read more

The churrasco and all the empanadas are great. Very authentic! The staff is friendly, the place is big and confortable. We only tried the alfajores for desert and those were really good as well. Highly recommended place. read more

Yummy is the only word that just kept coming up as our family enjoyed some takeout after a long day at Disney Springs. The food was so good but the desserts were OUTSTANDING. We truly enjoyed the coconut flan and would have gone back for more if they had been open. Definitely a place to visit again next time we are in Orlando! read more

Yelp strikes again! Another home run. This place is amazing. Great friendly staff. Everything is cleaned well. Our meals were made with care and well priced. A great value for the money. Will regularly return and explore the menu. read more

We did not have high expectations, although Sofrito's was recommended by friends, however we were very pleasantly surprised at the quality and quantity of the food we ordered. If you like Cuban to Argentinian, with stops at Peru and Venezuela in between, this is a must go cafe for you. All entree's were great (we had a large group, and all ordered unique meals.) read more

This is perfect food for on the go . The service is extremely good . Very attentive to us . I would definitely recommend this for the future . Varied menu added charm . read more

Food like this is a big reason I miss living in Florida. Sofrito has great ambiance for a fast casual restaurant. Nice decor with interesting lighting, exposed brick and a bar. The staff is super friendly and will cheerfully explain anything on the menu and offer advice. I had the pabellon, which I found out is the national dish of Venezuela, and it did not disappoint; flavorful, tender, shredded beef, white rice, black beans, and fried plantains. Unfortunately, I'm leaving town tomorrow or I would be back to try one of the dozen other things on the menu that sound just as tasty. Next time I'm in Orlando I will definitely pay Sofrito a visit. read more

Fair warning when you come here: the customer service is garbage. It took them 5 mins for them to simply acknowledge us. The ordering system is based on priority, which normally makes sense but when you only order an empanada and a colada, you are placed in the back of the line. Their system of ordering is completely inefficient to those that are in a hurry to get a quick bite before hitting the parks. It took them 20 mins to bring me my food. We are never coming back to this place again. The reviews do not live up to the 4.5 star rating this place has. You've been warned! read more

We were in the mood for some Latin food and this place delivered. Walk up place your order and very good prices. My family had food from everywhere. Highly recommend and the environment is relaxed/fun. We will definitely be back! read more

Six of us went to this restaurant, and each of us loved our food. The Cuban Beef Empanada was amazing; it was freshly made and worth the wait! The Argentinian chicken Empanada was great as well. Others in my party loved the Tripleta, Pepita & Apple Salad, and the Pabellon Criollo. We all enjoyed the desserts, especially the Coconut Flan, Nutella Empanada, Tres Leches, and Churros. read more

Visiting from Oklahoma and ate here with coworkers. You order & pay 1st then you can seat yourself. I ordered the Pollo a la Plancha & the chicken was so flavorful & tender. Will definitely eat here again. read more

SO GOOD. Ate here 3 days in a row while on vacation. Amazing menu. Really respect the recognition of different countries each specific meal is from. Prices are super reasonable. Drooled each time. read more

Writing this review pains me because I'd rather be writing something positive about a fellow compatriot's business. However, I'll begin by saying that this was not my first visit to Sofritos. I believe I've been here about 3 or 4 times and I can't really say that I had a bad experience and the food was pretty good. All was fine until this past Sunday where I came in and ordered tequenos, a cachito and a loaded burger around 3pm, went home and felt a bit off so I skipped dinner altogether. I woke up in the middle of the night with full blown food poisoning. Mind you, all I had for breakfast was a bagel... I'll spare everyone the details on my illness for obvious reasons but I struggled to make it through the day yesterday and I'm still having a hard time keeping my food down. The icing on the cake here is that I got together with a couple of friends tonight and mentioned to one of them whom I knew frequented the same establishment, about my recent experience and he told me he got gravely sick off their Tripleta. I hope Sofritos can correct this issue because I absolutely love and miss Venezuelan cuisine but clearly they have a cleanliness and/or freshness issue. read more

We had high expectations going in with all the rave reviews. My husband and I found it just "okay". We both had the fish and it was quite bland. Very nice decor in the restaurant though. read more

Food was great however when we opened our bag and my friend pulled one of the containers with an entree in it it fell and spilled all on my friend and in the bag I called and explained what happened and they didn't understand so I went in and showed them how the food came all completely out the bag. The girl that came to talk to me was a manager however has a horrible manager attitude she told me it wasn't the restaurant's fault the food came out like that and literally told me it was my friends fault but that "this" time she would remake the food... we spent over $50 to be treated like this. Not to mention the food leaked all through the bag food amazing attitudes not great of staff read more
