I was not impressed at all. The place looks like it needs work. The rice was still hard from not cooking all the way. No ice in the fountain drink machine. They had to be told several times. The staff looks like they hate their job. They ALL had long faces like they hate being there. The customer service was very poor. EXTREMELY POOR!!! I should have gotten the hint this restaurant was not good with the amount of people who walk in and turned right around and walked out. I will never go back again read more

There was great food but the service in the beginning was questionable. We were about to put our order in and was stopped short by the cashier to serve a woman who was not on line. It was not appreciated and when questioned, we were asked to wait. The other cashier was very nice and helpful but they were out of many items because we had arrived close to their closing time. Unfortunately the server who arrived with our food continued to hand the plates to my son-in-law and he almost burned himself because of no warning of the hot plates and because the server was too lazy to put them on the table himself. Overall, I would recommend because the food we did receive was awesome. read more

I loved the semi-quick semi-dine aspect of this place. The food was amazing and the service kept pace. I will not visit Orlando without going back here! read more

Awesome arepas! Great portions and prices. Great vegetarian selection too! Highly recommend this place!

Love this place! From the games and laid back atmosphere to the comforting food it is a must visit every time we come to Orlando. The staff is so friendly too. read more

Such a hidden gem!! The food is always fantastic, the portions are large, and the prices are great. The best part about this place, though, is the effort. Effort spent on making the food the most authentic and flavorful that it can be. Effort on making the guest experience the best that is can be. Effort on keeping everything clean and looking great. Every time I go to Sofrito I am so impressed by the staff and the care that they take to make such a great experience for their guests. It's very clear that everyone working there really cares, and that makes the difference between a good place and an exceptional one. Disney could take a page out of their book for customer service and food quality. Highly recommend! read more

Sofrito Latin Cafe staff are super warm and friendly. The Venezuelan empanadas--both geese and chicken--were perfection with a wonder spicy sauce. Both the toast pork and churasco (beef) plates were wonderfully flavored and tender. I would definitely recommend it to foodie friends and will come back. read more

Great food and very generous portions. Well maintained restaurant with helpful and friendly staff. Sangria was very large glass. Affordable. read more

We ordered the Churrasco skirt steak with white rice and red beans. Everything was delicious. Steak was cooked perfectly. Very juicy and full of flavor. My daughter had the roast pork (Pernil) which was also very tasty. This is my second visit and highly recommend it. The restaurant is casual and you pick up a menu. Place your order and pay, then you select where to sit. The food is brought over to you. If you order fountain drinks, you get free refills. Will definitely done here again. read more

I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Nice change from fast food or frozen n cooked to order.

Been here several times. Solid choice for Cuban/Latin food in the Disney Spring area.

Everything we ordered was so legit. It's so awesome to be able to eat GF at someplace other than Sweet Tomatoes or Zoes. The chicken empanadas were the best I've ever had. The chicken soup and plantains were equally impressive. We will definitely be back! read more

Got there when the place opened at 7:00 AM. For breakfast. For starters the girl that took our order had an attitude. We ordered a fairly simple order one cortadito., a cafe con leche, two ham croquets, and two papas rellenas. We noticed that on the wall behind us there was a cockroach on the wall. My boyfriend didn't want me to cause a scene so he quietly told the server about the roach and we moved to another table. We received our order about 30 minutes later. The papas rellenas were terrible. Very dry... I spit out the bite I took of it. When I took a bite of the croquetas I found a metal tiny ball inside of them. We let the girl know and she apologized by saying- omg I'm so embarrassed we don't even make the croquetas here they come frozen. We weren't offered a refund which was totally absurd to us. I DO NOT recommend this place. Oh and the cockroach was still on the wall when we left. Nothing was done about it!!!! Good luck Sofrito Latin Cafe!! read more

We make a point of coming here every time we are in town. Great food, upscale contemporary atmosphere, upbeat Latin music (but not too loud), and friendly service. Just love this place! Try the roasted pork plate-won't disappoint! read more

No service with a smile in this place. They placed a dirty bottle of hot sauce on our table it had old cooked rice around the rim and said, "here is your hot sauce". Waiter forgot our utensils than our desert. Food was average nothing special. No papel towels in the bathroom and the floor was wet. read more

I went today and expected good things bc of the reviews but was let down. I ordered cortadito's and there was no sugar in them. Normally when I order and americano it's how it's described. Just got a shot of espresso and when I asked if I could change it out for a cafe con leche he looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language (I asked in spanish which he spoke) and he said no. So customer service wasn't great. The Colombian empanadas were not fresh, they were chewy and hard like if they had just been heated up and not freshly fried. The location is nicely decorated, only good thing I can say about it. read more

Came here for a late dinner, as a quick summary the food is an easy 3.5-4 stars but their sweet service bumps them to 5. Atmosphere is great and the ordering procedure was easy, even if we couldn't pronounce everything and had questions about ingredients and items. Between all us we ordered four very different entrees and all of them were fantastic and the portions were far more abundant than we expected. I personally got the roast pork with yellow rice, papa criolla, and fries. Side of guava juice too! The pork was flavorful, a bit on the drier side but made up for by the sides easily and the guava juice. At the end we decided to add on some desserts which the server helped get for us and didn't even need us to pay for until we finished and we're leaving, which is just so considerate of her for our dining experience even though they are a self labeled fast casual place. Oh we got the churros and coconut flan, even though we were too full they were still so good. If we are ever in the area again we will come back for sure, and recommend our friends visit as well! Edit: we came back for breakfast a few days later on our last day in Orlando to try their breakfast menu. What can I say other than fantastic? Even better than dinner some how. The server/host recommended the Capacha and we added shredded beef to it. It was definitely the star of an already great meal :) read more

My family had just gotten into Orlando and we're starving. We decided to go here for lunch because it is right across the street and had good Yelp reviews. We actually thought it might serve Mexican food. Nope! We we're a bit ignorant walking in, no quesadillas here. The kids got some beef empanadas and rice and beans, my wife had a Cobb salad. I on the other hand ordered a Cachapas with roasted pork not knowing what would be served to me. What it ended up being was a corn pancake grilled and folded over with cheese and roast pork inside. It was amazing. All the food was. We may go back again for dinner. It was that good. read more

Sofritos Placed an order: pulled pork, fried plantations, black beans & rice. Pork was not very good and not seasoned well. The rice was great. The black beans never even HEARD of sofrito & seemed just out of a can & heated up. Disappointed. If I tried to serve this to my departed Abuela she'd throw it on the floor, give me a putaso and start lecturing me beginning with "Coño mi rey!!!" I guess they are catering towards tourists or those with **ahem** more bland palates. Three stars for the nice guy at the bar & the REALLY cute waitress. The food however is a 1 or 2 at best. Sorry. read more

I decided to try this place out while on vacation from NY. I easily placed my order online with yelp which I never did before which was very convenient and ordered the snapper with yellow rice, black beans and sweet plantain. Also ordered the camarones al ajillo. Both dishes were packed with flavor and the shrimp was not overcook. Good portions for the price and overall great food. I actually went back the following day to pick up some roast pork. Definitely will come back next time visiting. Super friendly staff also. read more

This place was wonderful! We came here for a late lunch/early supper. There weren't too many people there but we got quick, courteous, service! We ordered the roast pork which comes with 3 sides and a simple salad. We got boiled yuca (it has a yummy mojo sauce you pour over), tostones (which are fried green plantains that come with a delicious sauce), and yellow rice. My hubby ordered the 1/4 chicken and it was so amazing. They must brine it or marinate it because the flavor was so awesome. We will definitely want to come back next time we're in the area. read more

Love the vibe here!! Very friendly people!! And the food is amazing. Highly recommend Sofrito's.

Followed Yelp past the chain places to this place for lunch. Turned out to s great call. Grated by friendly and helpful staff. Ohmygosh ohmygosh ohmygosh Sofrito Latin Cafe. This place is amazing a little Hidden Gem near Downtown Disney. Florida's newcomers would call at Disney Springs. I've talked to so many people about dining here, and had quite a few come back and thank me for suggesting this little Latin hotspot. From the empanadas to the pernil the food is seasoned to perfection. The rice and beans are all so yummy. And I can't get the plantains out of my system. I have to have them every time I go there. I've tried so many things on the menu and have not been disappointed yet. The owner of this Bistro also has a restaurant a block or so away. If you're in the mood for Mexican that's definitely the place to go. El Patron and Sofrito have captured my palate and my heart. read more

This place was amazing. Casual dining featuring fresh food, great drinks, fun atmosphere with very nice servers. I can't wait to come back!

I didn't like it at all ,Food didn't have good taste. We ordered 3 different dishes for breakfast and the name Latin doesn't go with the food that they have, very bland . First time here and my last! read more

This place is horrible. Cold food. Barely English speaking staff which isn't a problem for myself but can be for the many tourist. Everything came out cold. Then they forgot the egg on one of our parties burger and then they questioned if we had actually order the egg on the burger. Unreal, don't come here support local. This place is just making money off being in a Disney area location read more

Everything about this place is great. Food. Deserts! And the service!! 10/10 recommend coming here!! :)

The shrimp dish was okay; no interesting flavors and the salad that came with it had one half of a tomato and a chunk of shredded carrots. The Cobb salad was so mediocre we didn't even eat it (overdone hard boiled eggs and more blah toppings), the pork had a strange taste to it. I'm confused by the 4.5 star rating. Just wasn't our cup of tea. I was disappointed because I was very excited to try some Latin food! read more

Could not come to Florida and not have some authentic cuban food.
