Sofrito was a huge disappointment. We ordered a variety of food and it was all either too salty or completely lacking flavor. We got the Lomo Saltado Arepa. The bread was cooked horribly. It was incredibly difficult to bite into and felt like a hardened stale carb. There wasn't that much meat and even that was just okay. We also tried the Pulled Pork. It was very average as well and grew increasingly saltier over time. The sides did help redeem the dish. Sweet plantains were solid and the potatoes weren't bad. The sopa de mariscos was the worst thing ever. It was SO salty to the point that it was inedible. We added a ton of water to make it more palatable. Avoid this dish. I regret coming here and wished I checked out Havana's across the street. read more

I had the guava Bellini. Good but very sweet. My husband and I shared the half chicken which is under the main event category. It comes with 3 sides. We chose salad, yellow rice and sweet plantains. I'm glad we chose to get one entrée because this was quite large and enough for two people. Everything was full of flavor very delicious. Atmosphere is casual but still very nice. With the cuisines from 7 different Latin countries, I was wrongly expected it would be nothing standing out or special. But I was happily surprised! So, this is a fast casual spot where you order to the left of the entrance at either the tablets or in person at a small counter. You're given a number and pick your seat. We skipped the boring buffet breakfast at our nearby hotel and came here instead. The interior of this restaurant is super cute. We loved the cozy dark walls contrasted with the woven lighting hanging from the ceiling and the pretty woodwork behind the bar. There are tons of floor to ceiling windows so it feels bright even with the dark walls. The Latin music playing in the background set the vibe. It's a fun yet relaxing place. The ordering process is different here but it works. You can either place your order via kiosk or with the host. Once your order is placed, you're given a number to take to whatever table you choose to sit at. They have indoor & outdoor seating. They also have serve yourself water and utensils (metal). We tried the Dos Huevos Desayuno, the Desayuno Criollo and the Argentinian Spinach & Cheese Empanada. We enjoyed all of the food. I'm obsessed with fried Yucca now. The only thing I didn't love was the shredded beef that came with the Desayuno Criollo. It had good flavor and there was plenty of it but it was a little dry and tough. We also had Americano coffees and they were hot and delicious. There are many options on this menu so definitely come by and give several of them a try and find your favorite. read more

First thing - when you walk in, there's kiosks to place your own order or you can place the order with the attendant at the stand. You grab a table number, take a seat, and wait for your food to arrive. They have fountain drinks where you serve yourself but they also have a full bar with drinks. The restaurant itself is spacious, while also having seating outside. It was chilly so we opted to stay inside. Food came out maybe 10-15 minutes after we placed the order and like I said, it was delicious! We opted to get the picada for two which ended up being way more food than expected - we couldn't finish! The chicken and steak were grilled to perfection. The sausage was super tasty. Pork belly and tostones were just okay to me. Fried yuca was great, especially when dipped into the mayoketchup sauce (there were different sauces brought out with this, including a chimichurri sauce). Mini arepas and cheese were also really good. A good plate to get if you're undecided on what to eat. Definitely would make this a place to eat again when we're in Orlando! read more
