Amazing food and service. Christen was a fantastic server. The ambiance is beautiful and such a vibe.

Restaurant is beautiful and service was very nice and responsive. My Colombian burger was good. Roasted pork was dry and the empanada was way too sweet. The cocktails were alright. read more

Sofrito has been on my list of places to try for years. Finally, my family did a staycation minutes down the road. I had to go. Sofrito is absolutely adorable inside. Ordering is very easy. Love the spins on classic Cuban dishes. We had cafe con leches, tried the Nutella empanada, and each ordered something for breakfast. I had the Cuban media manana -- love a sweet bread. I would try the classic Cuban next time to compare. My friend had the avocado toast and said it was really good. She finished the whole thing. My sister in law had another sandwich and tried their homemade hot sauces. She said the habanero one was incredible. Big hit. Everyone lives their food. Would recommend and would return. read more

I had a great experience at Sofrito Latin Cafe. The media noche was excellent with flavorful roasted pork, melty cheese, and a balanced sweetness from the ham. Every bite hit exactly how a classic media noche should. On top of the food, the service was outstanding. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the whole visit even better. You can tell they care about both the food and the customer experience. Highly recommend! read more

Came here after a day at the parks. I ordered the roast pork with rice, beans, and yuca. You order at a counter or on a tablet and seat yourself so not a full sit down restaurant. I thought the portion size was great for the price and was not able to finish my dinner. The pork was very well seasoned. The rice and beans were good as well. I was not a fan of the yuca at all. It was extremely dry and lacking any flavor. The green sauce on top was not nearly enough to season and moisten them so I couldn't eat them. The salad dressing was also extremely peppery and a little too acidic so I couldn't finish it either. If you are more strategic about what sides you order this would be all around a great meal. The restaurant itself was a little dark but clean and cute. read more

My girlfriends and I were hungry and decided to check out this place--and we were so glad we did! The food was absolutely amazing and full of flavor. The guy taking our orders was super helpful and even suggested a few of his favorite dishes, which turned out to be great picks. The vibe here is very chill--like a cool little bar and café combo. Definitely a spot worth coming back to! read more

This place feels more like a fast-food restaurant than a sit-down dining experience. The interior lacks personality, there's no table service, and orders are placed through a screen. The food comes out quickly, which adds to the fast-food feel. The skirt steak was just okay--nothing memorable--and you can easily find a better meal at nearby local chains. read more

I was looking for a quick lunch stop and this place hit the spot! The staff were kind and attentive. Restaurant was clean and staff were quick to clean the tables. The menu was diverse and everything sounded delicious. Portions were generous so be ready to take a to go container with you. Tres leches was creamy and flavorful. I would come back to try more menu items. read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Orlando. It's on International Drive so it a right in the middle of everything. Im a big fan of South American food so everything on their menu is appealing to me. Every time I visit I have to get a Presidente. It's a really good beer but it's hard to come by. For my meal, I got the Areapa Pabelleon. The beef and cheese combo is elite to me. It's also a good pairing with the Presidente. I also had a guava pastry and it was very good also. read more

Service was friendly and quick, and the food was delicious. We had the Cuban sandwich, Cuban roasted pork, chicken Milanese, and shared a cheese arepa. For dessert, the guava and cheese pastelitos were the perfect amount of sweet to finish the meal. Everything we tried was excellent. Highly recommend! read more

Visited here on my trip to Orlando for the weekday ! The place was very nice and well decorated. The food was delicious and super flavorful! The reason why I am giving it a 3 start is because , your order needs to be ordered before sitting at a table. However , if you want to switch something or forgot to add something you can't do it from the table. Works are mostly just food and drink runners read more

Found this hidden spot while in search of dinner. We were greeted by friendly staff. You can order in person or on a tablet. The tablet provides pictures of each menu item. I picked the Catira Arepa with shredded chicken and Gouda cheese. We also ordered a side of the Fried Yuca fries, which comes with a cilantro sauce. The arepa was freshly made and the meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Plenty of cheese! The fried yuca were also very good. Plenty of parking in the lot. Lots of outdoor and indoor seating. You seat yourself and someone brings your food to you. You can get up and get your own drinks and silverware. Only suggestion is to offer sauces on the table. Only thing available is ketchup. I would have loved Salsa Rosado (pink sauce), a creamy cilantro sauce, or a garlic sauce. read more

Excellent restaurant, authentic Latin food with unique plates with lots of rich and savory flavors. Must stop every time I'm in Orlando.

The last time we visited Orlando we noticed the parking lot was full every time we'd pass by. It was the same this time so, we had to give them a try. I'm so glad we did, because the food is excellent! The Argentinian Empanada with spinach and cheese was my favorite. The outside is buttery and flaky, and the filling is lightly seasoned. So good! The ordering process is easy and pretty efficient. When you come in, you can place your order on the screen or order from the counter. You get a number, then grab a table, and they'll bring your food out to you. If you're in the area I'd recommend dining here. read more

Living in Windermere food is not always as great as you would think but this place has been consistently excellent From food to service they have been my reliable favorite for my family and I. Wether Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner they have satisfied our cravings.. I hope to visit the actual restaurant and enjoy the Ambiance as we sit and break bread on site.. Kudos read more

Another restaurant that is just 5 mins away from where we were staying. You order & pay on the machine when you first come in. Water is self served with a station. Outdoor seating is spacious but it is just too hot to sit there (95oF) even we went for dinner around 6:30, still not cooking down much. My husband loved his Cuban sandwich, filled him up fast. The sweet plantains hit the spot, they look burned but when you eat, it is soft and flavorful. Best plantain I have ever tried at Caribbean restaurant. My sons were so hungry so whatever they ordered, they ate them all and one of them is still a bit hungry. Salmon and shrimp both were fresh and delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant. read more

I really liked my time here! The portions are large (see photo), and exactly what I hoped for. With the entree, I got the French fries as the side, and it came with a little salad. To be honest, I did not eat it all because the portion was so large, but this makes for great leftovers. I highly recommend! read more

This place was the closest thing to real Spanish food for the hotel district. The ease of entering and placing your order via kiosk made getting my meal exactly the way I wanted. Placed the order, took a number, sat down, and waited. Soon enough the food came out fresh, delicious, juicy, flavorful, and exactly as ordered. I was surprised I missed this place before. Food is amazing! Staff is friendly and establishment is very clean. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone visiting Orlando.

This place was probably one of the best Latin American cuisines that I've ever tried. Found this place scrolling through Yelp, and I am so glad that we were able to try it. I don't have the biggest knowledge of Latin American food, but I know great tasting food when I experience it. Even she loved the food, it got her stamp or approval and she highly recommends this place if you're a local or on a vacation looking for some quality Latin American food. Everything about these dishes were absolutely divine. Even the ambience of the restaurant was very elegant, seemed casual but looked nice inside. Customer service was very good, overall such a great experience. I'm writing this several days later, I honestly forgot what I ordered but it was Cuban food and it was on the picture from the menu that was on the screens. read more

I loved everything about this spot from how you order and pay for your food up front instead of waiting for a server to know when you're ready, to the ambiance of the restaurant, the food options, the flavor, the prices, the service, everything. Yummy Latin food with a mixture of different influences including Cuban, Colombian, and Puerto Rican flavors. We stayed at the Grand Cypress Hyatt resort nearby and decided to make an order "to-go". Loved that everything was as ordered including the extra sauces, silverware and napkins. It was "checked" by a worker and I appreciate that they signed it off! Everything was warm and fresh! All the sides were a good size. Our children loved it and we will return! Very easy to order online and we were texted when the order was ready for pick up (right on time) read more

Sofrito was a huge disappointment. We ordered a variety of food and it was all either too salty or completely lacking flavor. We got the Lomo Saltado Arepa. The bread was cooked horribly. It was incredibly difficult to bite into and felt like a hardened stale carb. There wasn't that much meat and even that was just okay. We also tried the Pulled Pork. It was very average as well and grew increasingly saltier over time. The sides did help redeem the dish. Sweet plantains were solid and the potatoes weren't bad. The sopa de mariscos was the worst thing ever. It was SO salty to the point that it was inedible. We added a ton of water to make it more palatable. Avoid this dish. I regret coming here and wished I checked out Havana's across the street. read more

As far as service, you don't really have a server. You order up front at a kiosk or at the person there that will take your order for you and you sit down to wait for the meals to be brought to you. Tequeños, tostones and the side of eggs were good because they were freshly made. The parrilla of meat was kind of cold and steak was overdone. The pasta was mid and had no flavor and was spicy. We came here based on the reviews but maybe we just ordered food that isn't part of their specialty. read more

Great service and staff! Decoration is rlly nice inside & I like how they provide real silverware instead of cheap, plastic ones. Here's my rating of everything I got: Roast pork plate: 8/10; Really tender and delicious. Got w yellow rice (8/10), tostones (7.6/10), and house salad (7.7/10). Goes rlly well w the rice & liked the sauce you dip the plantains in. Shrimp plate: 8.5/10; Exceeded expectations! Perfectly cooked shrimp in every way-- seasoning, temperature, texture Other sides: - Sweet plantains: 6/10 Too sweet & mushy? - Red beans: 4/10; Nah - Yuca: 6.5/10; Too mushy and sticky for my liking, but fam and I took home for leftovers and tasted rlly good cold after the garlic sauce seep read more

Latin food, nice but casual, counter service. We started with a beef empanada. Dough was flaky, beef flavorful. They also have several alcoholic and nonalcoholic drink options. I had the guava Bellini. Good but very sweet. My husband and I shared the half chicken which is under the main event category. It comes with 3 sides. We chose salad, yellow rice and sweet plantains. I'm glad we chose to get one entrée because this was quite large and enough for two people. Everything was full of flavor very delicious. Atmosphere is casual but still very nice. We are from the Midwest which doesn't have a lot of Latin food options. This was perfect for us. Highly recommend. read more

Very disappointed in the place . My family and I have been coming here every year when we visit on vacation as the food is usually really good. But recently we visited and the food and service was terrible my husband had ordered the Colombian burger which was terrible cold and taste like old meat . I was trying to find a worker to let them no but I didn't see a server for 20 minutes the restaurant was empty and when I finally got a server from the back kitchen she said she was sorry and they couldn't do anything for me . As you pay before getting your food. Will not be coming back anymore will find another Spanish spot locally. read more

Very nice and beautiful. Good vibes! The woman servers are so nice and friendly and helpful!! They checked up on us 2times , they offered dessert twice which we declined because we were STUFFED!! I love this place! However, My one issue is You stand to order, and they ask for tip.. no less than 15% (which I gave !!!) but there is no actual service. You get your own water, forks, and napkins. We didn't know there was a self serve station so we were taken back when asking for water or forks and they sent us to grab it ourselves. There was a mix up and the man bringing out our food was a little stand off ish when asking for a box. I've worked in food service before so I have absolutely NO problem tipping BUT the tipping culture is kinda crazy especially when I did everything myself and got attitude when receiving my food. I am not letting that discourage me from coming back, I will come back and recommend to others and you should definitely come to try! ( AND TIP LOL) it's a really good place with good food! The Valentine's drink was delicious! read more

Great place for family and friends or even a quick bite/stop and gathering. A plus also because they're allergen friendly food establishment and totally appreciate that aspect. I have gluten and dairy allergies and unable to find any gluten free empanada easily so when I come across this place during my trip, it's such a blessing. Their portion is pretty large and good size for sharing. I've tried their Venezuelan and Colombian Empanada - both are made from corn flour. Venezuelan is a little bit sweeter but both are so good. The meat inside, is juicy and not dry. Tried their salmon plate also which was marked gluten free. The plate comes with salad and your choice of 2 sides. It was so good and salad was fresh. Chose the yuca fries which was crispy and accompanied by a sauce. Definitely try their guava drink! It wasn't overly sweet. It's so refreshing! Ordering system: you order first when come in, through the self service system on the side or order with the staff at the register. They'll give you number and you can choose your own table and sit anywhere. ** They're also on Toast App if anyone is familiar. It's a food ordering system but no charge. Price is usually the same as the merchant, not like DoorDash or Uber who jack up the price. You can order through there for pick up as well. Will stop by this place again and try their other gluten free items. read more

The family really wanted some Cuban food away from the theme parks and this place had good reviews so we gave it a try. The food was really good, the Churrasco two family members got was simply off the charts delicious, I wish I got that and this would have been 5 stars. The reason I am giving 4 stars was the Cuban sandwich had plain everyday ham and cheese that wasn't really melted which kind of took away from the sandwich when compared to the kind we had in Ft Lauderdale. The Yucca was also bland to me, would have been so much better with a seasoned batter, the green sauce was really tasty. read more
