Waited for 40 min for (2) cafe con leches & cuban avocado toast. (2) employees with no mask. Restaurant is not even half capacity.

This place is incredibly good. We were here on vacation, and we got takeout which consisted of lomo saltado, a Cuban, roasted pork, and pollo a la brasa. The roasted pork and pollo a la brasa came with 3 sides. We got a combination of fries, white and yellow rice, sweet plantains, black beans, and tostones. The only thing we didn't care for were the tostones. They were dry and didn't have a ton of flavor. Everything else was outstanding! The portions are huge and the prices are great. I'm sure we'll eat here every time we're in the area. read more

This food was delicious!! The hospitality was excellent, what an amazing staff. I'll definitely be back

I read a bunch of reviews before coming and was still a little nervous coming here. I was really impressed by the variety and the value of food you received. The food was so delicious. read more

Really good. Do it. Was crowded on a Tuesday but no wait. Nice outdoor area. Food was excellent.

We went to Orlando for a volleyball tournament. Exhausted after a long day we decided to try this restaurant. We all loved it so much that we ended up going again! read more

Came here for brunch. Ordered cafe con leche and pandebono, my girlfriend ordered the Guava and Nutella waffles. Pandebono is supposed to be soft and fluffy/chewy..mine was hard as a rock. The waffles my GF got were also hard, as if they may have been premade. I've used a belgian waffle maker before, it's pretty easy to make fluffy waffles. Also, my kids ordered the Cuban Avovado toast..what came to the table was...plain Cuban bread. The check came and i was charged for both the plain Cuban bread and the Avocado toast that i originally ordered. I will say that the cafe con leche was good, and the avocado toast was pretty good too once they eventually got the correct order out. But, there's plenty of better options in the are read more

So good! Our family of 17 stopped in after a day at Disney and the staff was so friendly, even though they were less than an hour away from closing. They fulfilled every request with a smile (highchairs, water glasses, extra napkins, more dressing, just to name a few). The food was excellent too! We are Latin and everyone including mi madre approved of each dish. The chicken soup (sopa de pollo) was authentic, the churrasco was on point, and everything else that we ordered was also great. Probably my favorite thing I tasted was the empanada with shredded beef inside (ropa vieja). The portions were huge and we way over ordered but it was still very reasonable, especially compared to some other overpriced places in the area. We usually stay in this vicinity when we visit the mouse so we are excited to have found this casual, Latin gem. It would be especially perfect for takeout which is what we often do after galavanting around the amusement park all day. The beer and wine availability gives them bonus points too. read more

Ordered takeout and the food was amazing. Had the tequenos, papa rellano and empanadas. It hit the spot for my Latin food craving. The only thing that could have improved was the tres leches. And I'll admit I'm spoiled by how sweet the ones at Pollo Tropical are but this one definitely had a high whipped cream to cake ratio and was a little small for the price. Other than that I'd order everything again. read more

Really great food. As a vegetarian, it can be hard to find a place that offers vegetarian meals that aren't boring. They have really great vegetarian options, and the dishes that aren't vegetarian look great, too. read more

Best Latin food in central Florida hands down!! I come here often for lunch and dinner and absolutely love it!!

We had a dinner for a family gathering catered, and it was delicious! It was the typical family get-together, lots of laughing and talking. But when the food came out a quiet fell over the room - everyone was busy eating because the food was sooo good. We had mini-tequenos, mini-Cuban sandwiches, pernil, rice, flan and churros. The tequenos and the churros completely disappeared, we got a second delicious meal out of the pernil and rice, and snacked on the other few leftovers. The delivery was timely and everything was packaged up well. My only regret is I don't live here, so I won't be able to sample Sofrito's again. Highly recommend! read more

I ordered the pulled pork meal with rice, black beans, and fries. The porks was very tender and very flavorful. The rice and beans were cooked to perfection. The fries were very good as well, nice and crispy. My wife ordered the chicken sandwich and was excited to find out that it came with two chicken pieces. She said it was the most moist and delicious chicken she has ever had. She said it had wonderful seasoning on it. The bun, lettuce and tomatoes were very fresh as well. Her fires were nice and crispy as well. We will definitely be going back to Softitas Cafe to try more items. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more

Great service and the food was delicious. The best yuca frita . Definitely recommend it!

We stayed at the Hilton and got Sofrito to go. This place is simply delicious food for a very reasonable price. I have gotten the chicken soup as an appetizer twice on my trip so far and I'll be getting it again. Best chicken soup other than Mom's I've ever had. They serve it with a chicken leg and the broth is to die for! Wife got lomo saltada...came with 3 sides. DELICIOUS! I got roasted pork. Came with 3 sides for $9! If you are staying in the hotels that are within walking distance then going here is a complete no brainer. I just wish this place was here when I lived in Lake Buena Vista many moons ago! read more

Being as a person who travel all over the state for food and a culinary student, i love it here! Empanadas was on point, flavorful meat stuffing, fresh brewed coffee, friendly staff. Just grab a sit on the bar and enjoy a good breakfast or lunch. When it gets busy the front staff go help out the back kitchen, this is a sign of food are actually being fresh made. I truly appreciate that from the bottom of my heart. I would come back as many time as I can. read more

I ate here initially because it was right across the street from the Hyatt Place where I had a convention, but I liked the food so much I came back a couple more times. I liked the Argentinian Steak Churrasco and the Colombian Burger with a fried egg. Also it was a nice atmosphere, clean and modern, and the service was good. read more

Ok. The food may be good but by the time I get it I won't care. We ordered by phone and they said no problem- 30-40 minutes. 1.5 hours later we are still waiting for our order and they were kind enough to apologize and offer us tap water while we wait. The food will taste good because I could eat anything at this point but this is truly terrible service. I hate writing this as they are very nice but explain that to 10 people waiting for food... If you want food here I would suggest you come in and eat in the restaurant. To the manager: coming out to personally apologize and offer something, anything (cookies, a drink while we sit here and wait, a coffee to keep us awake long enough to eat the food) would have been an appropriate gesture of apology. Ironically after I wrote this they gave us a single flan as an apology. Seriously for a 115 order a 3 flan... wow. It was better than nothing but a little cheap for ruining our evening with family on vacation. read more

New restaurant in town with a variety of Latin America dishes. When I say Latin America, it means Cuban, Colombian, Venezuelan, Puerto Rican, Argentinian, you name it. I ordered the Argentinian empanada from the starter section, as well as the pandebono. Affordable and popular location. This restaurant is walking distance from sheraton. Perfect for the tourists. read more

Food was great though the cashier didn't speak a lot of English so even though I said I was vegan my food came with ranch dressing and cheese. Would have explained it to him in Spanish if he asked but I never knew he didn't know. Just a hopefully helpful warning out there for other vegans and people who may have allergies. read more

We decided to give Sofritos a try based on the Yelp reviews and our love for ethnic food. The restaurant has a hip vibe with Latin Flair. The ordering process was the downside as it seemed to take forever. With only three people in front of us, it was approximately 16 minutes before we made it to the register to order as there was only one person taking orders. It was not the fault of the cashier, who was very personable and patient, rather the undecided patrons. In a tourist area that is to be expected which is why I was unsure why they only had one register open for orders instead of the two they are set up for. Anyhow, once we ordered we seated ourselves in the patio area. The food came out in a timely manner and was delicious! Unfortunately they were out of yellow rice and the rotisserie chicken when we went (around 8:00pm). I had the churrasco and my husband had a chicken dish. It was very tasty. I recommend giving them a a try. We would certainly visit again. read more

This visit was a month after our last and this time we drove up with my mother. After our amazing experience last time we definitely wanted to return to share it with her on this trip which was my birthday weekend. We arrived and it was a lot busier than it was last time. We grabbed the menus and while waiting in line (maybe 7-10 minutes) we decided on what we wanted. We all wanted the 1/4 pollo a la brasa but were told they didn't have any so we decided on getting 3 pollo a la plancha. Not that big a deal. Just a flavor difference really but still good. My partner and mom wanted yellow rice with red beans and of course salad it comes with and I wanted yellow rice, red beans and yuca with salad. We paid and got our drinks and sat down. About 30 min later we noticed people who arrived after we sat down after ordering got their food, ate and were leaving and we didn't get anything yet. The restaurant patrons dwindled to us and maybe 6 other people. I asked one of the young ladies if they can check because we have been here a long time. She came back a few min later to confirm it was 2 plates of food only. I said no it's 3 and when we pulled the receipt we noticed she only rang up 2 plates but 3 drinks. I said that was an error and I specifically repeated my order because she was the one who took our order originally and she went back to the manager. Before she did that of course she told us that we should have made sure the order was right on the receipt. At this point we are 45 min in with no food and she comes back saying the food will be out soon and I would have to pay for the other plate. I told her I wanted a refund on my original 2 meals and I'll pay for the 3rd she mistakenly did not apply to my order originally which I thought was fair and nice in my part. About 15 min later 2 plates of food came out. One incorrect. They brought my partners plate with yuca, red beans and salad aaaaand no rice. About 5 min later they brought out the 3rd plate and we told them about the missing rice issue now and another 5 min later the rice came out. The food was really good. As it was our last visit but the service was absolutely terrible and not once did the manager come out but instead had the cashier go back and forth. Not sure we will be coming back or not. read more

Sofrito Latin Cafe - Pollo a la plancha with yellow rice and red beans with yuca and salad. Very good - Latin American Near Me - Orlando, Florida

Great quiet and well located restaurant with differentiated menu. We went there looking for a great breakfast experience. Very glad with the eggs/yuca/cuban bread, the coffee, the empanadas and the fresh juices. Very dissapointed with the waffles that are clearly frozen eggo brand waffles with hersheys chocolate drizzle and some home-made guava syrup. Cashier was very kind in explaining the dishes, but rest of staff is notoriously uncomfortable and "just" perfoming (barely) their jobs as tables were dirty and floor needed some quick cleaning. Good quiet place to be and spend time with family and friends. Avoid the dissappointing waffles. read more

Mediocre at best. Empanadas were tasty ... We tried all kinds. The Cuban sandwich was very good. The roast pork was a disappointment ... The meat tastes old. Food was served on paper plates and plastic silverware. Restaurant has potential but they can do much better. read more

I am absolutely in love with this cafe. I'm a steak kind of girl and I love the churrasco. The chimichurri sauce on it is amazing!! Of course I got white rice, black beans and plantains. I loved the food so much that I had to go back two days later for more. Service was great, my niece accidentally dropped one of their glasses and they were very understanding. Both the service and food were a 5 out of 5. I will definitely comity to go back here when I visit Orlando! read more

Great! Awesome and delicious Latin food served up here. Loved the decor, the servers, Latin music and of course the food my husband ordered the churrasco skirt steak that was the most tender and we'll flavored skirt steak ever. I would get this dish if I were to come again. I ordered the Cachapa and that was a sweet surprise. It's a sweet corn pancake that cradles a delicious cheese and choice of shredded beef or pork. I went with the beef option. It was outstanding too! Everything was so good and above average. read more

OMG- a great latin restaurant and the best I've had in Orlando. The best part is it's a nice escape from the large amount of chain restaurants than engulf the area. My thoughts: Pros: - Amazing empenada's and the food is so fresh - Service is super easy as there's no formal waiters, grab a number and sit down - Great drink options including great craft beers in a latin restaurant! - Very cozy environment and good for a family or date night Cons: - Honestly, nothing I can think of read more
