SoFresh was solid, staff was friendly and everything came out as ordered. Small little place better for to go than eating in but they did have a highchair for our baby so that was nice. I just got the Caesar salad which was good wish it came with a little more dressing but was solid a lot of parm made it kinda messy. Tried this spot for the first time after my sister highly recommended it--and it did not disappoint. Ordering online was super easy, and I loved how customizable everything was. You can really build your meal exactly how you want it. The parking lot was a bit chaotic, but there's plenty of seating inside if you're dining in. I ended up waiting a little past the quoted pickup time, but once we got the food home--worth it. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and felt like a healthier option with solid portion sizes. Horrible mobile app!! I do not care how good their food is. I won't go to this restaurant ever again. Took me 9 mins to place an order. First, it forces you to login if you have an email address registered with them. Waste of time. I shouldn't need to do this if I don't want to. AND it doesn't tell you this until you are checking out and have even entered your card information. Second, if you return to login as they force you to, it removes your credit card info, and that has to be entered all over again. Third, there is so much scrolling that has to be done to place an order, you have then wasted two mins of your time. I suspect they don't want people to use their app because it's absolutely terrible. But now I won't even eat there after this. Used 9 mins of my lunch hour just to place an order. There's an abundance of healthy options to try at SoFresh, and I appreciate knowing I could just make my own bowl in the future. This time, I got the poke bowl, and it was actually really good! The portions were on point, and I'll never turn down seaweed salad. Even though this spot isn't open super late, a 10PM closing time was a pleasant surprise for a fast casual spot that makes your food to order. The staff were super nice and prepared our takeout order really quickly. I also noticed there's a self-checkout option, which is nice! While the parking isn't plentiful, it's free! First time visitor last week, I tried the superfood warm bowl because I was told it was one of most popular items, and added the tuna. It was large and very filling, everything tasted fresh, but I didn't love the tuna and although I liked everything else in the bowl, I wasn't crazy about them mixed together. I do like the menu options so I will definitely be back to try a few other things. My friend had the veggie wrap and absolutely loved it. First, his answer to a question was "take it or leave it" then when I shared that he messed up my order, he said he would refund me the money so he proceeded to dig in the garbage can for my old gift card. Went to this restaurant due to their great variety. However upon arriving, I began asking allergy questions and we found the server/cook apparently having some attitude about the questions. I simply wanted to ensure before ordering that they could make my meal without pepper (allergy) and I was told directly by the cook that he could accommodate it if I added the note. I added the special note as directed and still received my order covered in pepper and could not eat it. Very disappointed because they seemed to be attentive to allergies based on the menu, however, the service and food were disappointing. Had to buy another dinner elsewhere. read more

This is my second update. I wanted to increase my stars and give an update to my review. I was contacted by So Fresh after I had a couple of bad experiences. They have worked hard to earn my business back and I have gotten better bowls from my closest, neighborhood location on S. Howard. I'm very happy since this is one of my favorite places to eat. A special kudos to Tyler, who contacted me through email to update me on changes they made and even sent me a gift card. Thank you, Tyler! I'm back to getting my delicious broth bowl from SoFresh in my neighborhood! I know we are experiencing tough times right now but our smaller businesses and franchises are struggling and yet are still here for us, trying to provide yummy take out! Consistently so good! I love the superfood bowl and signature salad. The Skinny is also one of my favorites. Can't go wrong!

I could probably eat SoFresh every day and not get tired of it. I already have gone twice this week and am looking forward to my next visit. SoFresh has such an amazing selection of literally everything. From bowls to salads to wraps to quesadillas, you can't go wrong here. I love the warm bowls the most. You can create your own, or pick from one of their classics. I have tried the Comfort and the Power. They were both amazing! You can also customize the bowls. I ordered the salmon and the steak as my protein, and both were phenomenal. They give a good amount of meat and it's really quality. Lastly, their sauces are super delicious. I love SoFresh, I have no idea how I haven't reviewed this place yet. I was first introduced to this concept at the location in North Tampa near USF. However, since moving I usually go to the one off Howard. The food is great! There are so many healthy/vegan/vegetarian options. They offer a variety of bowls/sandwiches/wraps/smoothies and you can even create your own. I love this concept if you are trying to adapt to a food sensitivity or various diet. I love the superfood bowl...that balsamic dressing is some of the best I've ever had. The service is always fast, even when they are busy and the food quality is consistent. I loved my skinny bowl with chicken. I'd never had zucchini "noodles" before, and I'm a convert (don't get me wrong - I'm not swearing off carbs, and would ideally like to go half zoodles/half noodles for something like this). Zoodles aside, the tomato sauce on this bowl was among the best I've had anywhere, including Italian fine dining restaurants. It seems I got unlucky. But I ended up going here one night after a workout and I was the only customer waiting other than pick up orders. I drive 15-20 minutes back home and notice they forgot the protein. So yea 16$ because I even tipped just gone and that's a pretty bad feeling after a workout. I even called for a refund and they said they did it. Yet I check my card and the payment was still there. I would just check your order before you leave this place. This location has fell off.. the food is cold ..they don't bother to cook the rice anymore they throw cold spinach and kale in the bowl without sautéing it.the sweet potatoes are hard as a rock. So I've been wanting to try so fresh for sometime now, I usually go with chipotle next door. Last night I decided to give it a try and wow disappointment would be an understatement. Besides the fact that the steak was minimal, chewy, flavorless and "grass fed". Dry brown rice and a couple pathetic zucchini noodles, with an overly spicy flavorless Sriracha sauce. To top it all off it was almost 20$!?!?!? . More than likely will never be returning...... you are much better off taking that 20$ and making multiple easy steak bowls at home with microwave brown rice that can easily surpass the quality of this complete rip off establishment... If you like "fast" food and prefer to eat on the healthy side, SoFresh is for you! I finally placed an order of my own today, after having picked up probably 100 or more UberEats orders from this location. I now understand what all the rage is about. I went with the Greek Bowl with chicken (sans tomatoes). I like the fact that all proteins are built into the cost of the bowl. While $11 isn't unreasonable, I would be hard-pressed to add any chicken for an additional cost. This was just meant to be a quick, simple lunch break. I was very impressed with the amount of food in the entree. I was able to fill up and still have enough leftover for another small meal! The flavors of the Greek Bowl were delicious! I particularly liked the tzatziki dressing and made sure to shake the container all around to thoroughly coat the chicken, brown rice, spinach, chickpeas, red onions, cucumbers and feta cheese. There wasn't a single ingredient that tasted overpowering - I would definitely order this bowl again but am looking forward to trying the Stir Fry and Superfood bowls! Personal recommendation- the bowls are my favorite, among them the superfood bowl. Vegetarian and vegan options are available. Service: you wait in line and order from a counter, it's an efficient process and they don't skimp out by not hand delivering your food, even at busy times. Ambience: casual. I ordered Broth Bowl with chicken to go. Even though the bowl price is 7.49 the chicken is extra 2.99. So it costs 11.38 total. It took 10 minutes to wait in the store. The food came out with only less than half a bowl (which is a big contrast to the pictures showing on its website). And it is super light weight which is less 8 ounce total. The vegetables are less than 4 ounces total and all are over steamed. The chicken broth tastes aweful too. The volume of the food makes this place a rip-off. McDonald or any other fast food restaurant will deliver much price worthy food than this one. Service is also very bad with long waiting time and cold service attitude. Do not recommend anyone to waste money at this place. read more
