The hostesses sat us right away, being careful not to overwhelm one server, so they discussed where to seat us amongst themselves and agreed on a plan. I almost expected them to clap and yell "Break!", but they were doing their jobs the right way. Our server was attentive, she knew the menu very well, and she was a true pro. We started off with the Parker rolls, which is super delicious and there is enough for way more than two people, so we had to be careful not to eat all of them, as difficult as that was. I'm also a French Onion soup fan, so I tried that- and it was great, and served in a very cool looking crock. My wife sat there saying she didn't want any, but proceeded to pick off half the cheese. (not cool, honey!). I ordered the seafood cioppino with the bucatini (a must have), and my wife had the chicken parm. First, the Cioppino was outstanding- full of great seafood, and the sauce was amazing. The bucatini is possibly the best pasta I have ever had. There is nothing like homemade pasta, and this was incredible. I was so full, but I kept eating it anyway. I paid for that later. Next time I will skip the apps and go straight to the dish. My wife loved the chicken parm and the portion was big enough so that she took well more than half of it home and I enjoyed it a couple of days later. All of the food was outstanding! Finally, I'd like to salute the server who was dealing with the table next to ours. The table was 4 extremely arrogant women who kept complaining about the temperature (you chose to sit outside, ladies) and the flies (wow...flies outside, who could have guessed?). The server handled them and their arrogance way better than she should have. They told her they were ready to order, then proceeded to take 10 full minutes to place their order because they really weren't ready. I have to admit, when my seafood dish was placed in front of me and it drew a lot more flies near us, I was a little happy because those ladies kept giving me the side-eye while complaining about "more flies than ever". Hilarious! We will be back often to Taverna Toscana, that's for sure. They know how to run a restaurant and their food is delicious. Thanks!

There is valley parking and across the street. The servers make check ups, they take food allergies seriously and make sure to make the food safe. I recommend this place for those that want an experience of a fancy romance. Or a friend evening. Prices can range $$-$$$$ They allow you to see your check from a quick scan on the table. The younger bartender was nice, pleasant, and welcoming. The older gentleman behind the bar, however, was a completely different experience. He came across as rude and was essentially barking orders at guests about how he would take our orders. For a place positioning itself as an upscale cocktail experience, that attitude set the wrong tone immediately. Unfortunately, the drinks didn't make up for it. My espresso martini was mediocre at best. My friend had the lemon drop, which was equally lackluster. Then came the $30 smoked Old Fashioned, which should have been impressive at that price point but was incredibly disappointing. We were also told they infuse their own vanilla into the vodka. Whatever they're using or doing with it, the end result tasted incredibly cheap --not remotely what I'd expect from a premium cocktail program. Then there's the condition of the place itself. There was a wrapped pipe dripping water onto/near a lounge bench, chipped and peeling paint on the walls, and obvious signs that preventive maintenance is desperately needed. The space simply wasn't aesthetically pleasing or maintained at the level the prices and concept would suggest. But it actually got worse when I went to the bathroom. Part of the ceiling appeared to be falling down, water was actively dripping into a bucket, and there was visible dark growth on the ceiling tile that looked like mold. At that point, my concern went well beyond décor. If you're going for an upscale speakeasy experience take a look at The Doctor's Office. That's the kind of atmosphere, presentation, and attention to detail I associate with this concept. When you're charging $30 for a cocktail, expectations are naturally going to be high. I expect excellent drinks, professional hospitality, and a well-maintained environment. Aside from the younger bartender, who was genuinely pleasant, this experience missed the mark across the board.

The vibe feels a bit on the fancier side, but it's still chill, a perfect spot for date night or just taking cute photos. No hidden entrance or secret password that we could see and street parking is available. No wait during the day. It's not the cheapest spot, but honestly worth it for the drinks and the aesthetic. I'd love to go back and try more of their craft tails sometime!

Everything is well seasoned cooked to proper temperatures and comes out quickly. Between the normal menu and the happy hour menu it's like a Steph Curry shot you can't miss. I highly recommend going to IDalia for lunch or dinner, you will not be disappointed.

Service was also friendly and attentive. They had a pretty decent size menu. We had linguine with clams, arugula salad and pizza. Food was pretty good. I woukd say that linguine meal was on a smaller side and had super tiny clams, was hard to eat them. Pizza was pretty decent but not amazing. Overall I would say's a solid 4 star place.

There was a private party upstairs when we visited last night and there were no tables available outside. It was a beautiful evening to sit outside and most diners were already taking advantage. Rather than wait we opted to sit inside. With the exception of it being quite loud, the bright dining room with a modest décor was also a nice place to dine, and our server did a top-notch job taking care of us. My wife and I decided to share our food, a Ricca Salad and a Capricciosa Pizza. We added Italian sausage to the pizza for an upcharge. The salad was fine and a good start as our pizza was being prepared. The pizza was outstanding. It brought back memories of when I learned to love the very thin crust Neapolitan style pizza we had in Italy. Full of flavor, I could have eaten slice after slice after slice after slice. This was the best pizza I have had in a long time.
