I'm a start by saying this is easily some of the better Italian food in the area and it's not close, the ambiance of family and big portions and good food is exactly what Italian cuisine is. As someone who has lived in Italian communities and have nonna's prepare me different dishes IDalia gives me that vibe. The customer service is amazing from the hostess to the servers and management. I've had numerous dishes from the lasagna, meatballs, meatball sliders a few kinds of bruschetta and a chicken dish, and their pizza, I've had zero complaints. Everything is well seasoned cooked to proper temperatures and comes out quickly. Between the normal menu and the happy hour menu it's like a Steph Curry shot you can't miss. We've been excited to try this. It was our first time here and we will definitely be back. The food was delicious! My family and I had the wood-fired pizza, calamari, lasagna, pasta frutti di mare, and chicken milanese Idalia style. We enjoyed it a lot, especially the pizza. I also loved the layout and styling inside. Very trendy and bright. This review would've been 4 stars, maybe 5, but the amount of flies around us and table next to us was distressingly uncomfortable. We never had to swat so many *inside* a restaurant before. It was hard not to think about flies in the kitchen and maybe what else is back there. Our server was sympathetic and brought us napkins to cover our drinks (my husband had to switch out his drink due to one landing in his drink). We asked for a candle/fan but they didn't have any. I didn't see any attempts by staff to get rid of them sadly (idk I'd be trying to swat/kill them). iDalia, please work on this! I'd write a much better review or edit mine if fixed. Overall, still a good experience with good food. Parrish needs more great restaurants like this. Hopefully I won't need a fly swatter next time. read more

Went on a busy Father's Day afternoon and sat at the bar where Eva & Kayden did an outstanding job of serving us and making us feel welcomed and now the food .... Started off with the Classic bruschetta which was excellent.. main courses were rigatoni in spicy vodka sauce that was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of sauce , with a kick of red pepper flak - very tasty . I went here a couple of weeks ago and had a big lunch. The ambiance and decor was decent for a casual Italian restaurant. The server was nice and tried helping out with some suggestions. We ordered the bolognese, tiramisu, eggplant appetizer, and Ala vodka. The meat on the bolognese was delicious but I wish there was a little more oils, butter, or sauce on the pasta, but still delicious, the Ala vodka did not disappoint but again maybe a tiny bit more sauce, the tiramisu was good, and the eggplant appetizer was decent and the sauce was great but in the future I would like try a different appetizer. Great addition to Parrish. I visited the other day with a friend for an early dinner and was not disappointed. Server, I believe her name was Christine, was absolutely amazing. George made great recommendations, I had the chicken Milanese and my girlfriend had the 24 hour braised short rib pasta. George was polite, professional, and anticipated all of our needs. This new Italian spot in Parrish as a hidden gem. maybe not so hidden because every time I go it's busy. From the beautiful interior design with Florida sailing windows, modern design white walls that's very welcoming and lively. The service has always been impeccable whether we went for lunch or dinner. The food is always hot and cooked to perfection. Their meatballs must have an extra grind because they are so tender. The chicken parm, which most restaurants miss the mark is delicious for multiple people who have ordered it with us. It's tender and juicy and not dry also not overly smothered in cheese. The calamari is crispy and not chewy and they are currently trying a new bread for which I enjoy much more than the original. The bartenders are also talented with their mixing skills. The bathrooms have always been well maintained. On a super busy night as with most restaurants, it takes a wee bit more patience, but this place is also only months old and they are nailing it. The website says there is a happy hour but when I called on a Friday, the woman who answered the phone said they don't have a happy hour so that was disappointing. I did tell her the website is wrong. Then on a Saturday we called for a takeout order and were told they were busy and couldn't take any takeout orders and to call back in 15 minutes. Better customer service would have been to say they were busy and it would take (something like) an hour to have an order made. We waited more than 30 minutes and called back and were told they were busy and to call back, but my partner said we already were told that once, so the woman said she would take the order and it would be 15 minutes. Which was odd. That's no time at all. They did call us after about 30 minutes to say the order was ready which was nice. The chicken parm was not crisp enough. It was kind of soggy and chewy. It seemed mass produced, like a Sysco product. The short rib pasta was very good, the best thing we got. The flatbread was not very crispy, as expected for wood fired though it was fine tasting. One of us liked the Brussels sprouts side and the other did not. All in all, it was an okay experience. I would not rush to go back, but I would not rule it out as there are not many places in Parrish to eat. read more

tonight we went to IDalia-a newly opened Italian restaurant in Parrish!! It was a wonderful time. We were seated right away. They took our drink order and brought bread and oil to the table. My friend had the fungi pizza and burrata salad and she really enjoyed it! I had the Mortadella sandwich which had pistachio cream, torn burrata, arugula and lemon oil on an Italian roll-sooooooo good!! (with truffle fries! Finally got to give this place a try and so glad we did! Everything was amazing! We had a party of 8 and were seated almost immediately, our server who we recognized from another restaurant took great care of us and was as amazing as she always has been at other places(iDalia got a good one), food was absolutely delicious! Everything from the drinks, to appetizers, pizza, pasta, salads, and desserts was fantastic! Met one of the owners and his wife and both were very friendly and welcoming. You could tell they cared about the service as they went by each table asking how everything was. We will certainly be coming back. Today, was our first time dining at Restaurant Idalia, and overall we had a pleasant experience. Our server, Tina, was truly exceptional, friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu, which made us feel well taken care of throughout our visit. We started with the calamari, which was just okay. The calamari itself was a bit small, and the breading was quite heavy, making it the dominant flavor. However, the marinara sauce served alongside it was very enjoyable. We also tried the eggplant meatballs, which were decent but didn't particularly stand out. My husband ordered the fungi wood-fired pizza and seemed to really enjoy it. I had the wood-fired lasagna with beef bolognese; while it was good, it didn't quite meet expectations. The edges of the pasta were slightly burnt, and the béchamel and ricotta flavors overpowered the bolognese, making the beef less noticeable. On a more positive note, the melon spritzer was refreshing and well-balanced. Tina also treated us to complimentary pistachio shots, which were a nice touch and quite enjoyable. We would be open to returning in the future, perhaps to explore more of the dinner menu. Overall, while the food was satisfactory, the service, especially from Tina, was the highlight of our visit. Thank you for the warm hospitality and excellent service. With a few refinements to the dishes, this could easily become a standout dining experience. Tried Restaurant iDalia today in Parrish for lunch. Got there before the crowds at 11:30. Menu looks to be both lunch and dinner. 1st impressions: Restaurant is very nice looking inside Seating leaves alot to be desired. Inside almost entirely booths or high tops. The booths are setup almost communal style. Zero privacy. You are sitting directly next to your "neighbor". Booths are also pretty uncomfortable with almost no lower back support. Outside seating looks better. Service was good. We had server who was being training. The trainer was very good. Food: We decided on wood fired pizza. While the selection is very small what we got was very good. Other food passing by looked excellent. Due to the seating arrangements not sure we will be back for dine in but will be getting take out. From the owners of Fuego Comida in LWR comes this casual authentic Italian restaurant to an area desperate for non-chain options! The vibe is coastal casual with some high tops, a nice large bar with part of it outside covered & there is a covered outdoor area with TV's. We sat at the outside bar & ordered drinks. We then grazed on the fire roasted clams & some complimentary bread & oil - delish & tasty! My husband enjoyed the homemade pappardelle dish immensely & I had the Rigatoni vodka - so yummy & spicy - loved it! The lasagna & pappardelle are homemade & the rest of the pasta is imported from Italy. Noticed the manager & owner walking around keeping an eye on things. This was the 10th day of their soft opening & you would think they have been open for years! Went here for lunch with my mother. The place is bright and clean and obviously new. Right off the bat, there's only one 'regular-sized' booth that has any privacy. Space is at a premium in restaurants, but I don't want to feel like I'm on a cruise ship dining with other passengers. The booth setup allows for large parties, but doesn't allow for smaller parties to not be very close to others. The food is really why my review isn't favorable. We each got a pizza: Margherita and Salumi. The Margherita pizza had both very little sauce and cheese which resulted in very little flavor. The Salumi has 3 different kinds of meats and is drizzled with hot honey and it also had so little flavor. The crust was nice, but not enough to make it be an overall solid impression. I'm disappointed as there aren't a ton of eateries in the area and I'd hoped this could be added to the rotation. read more

Had dinner here Friday night. Very busy, but we got a table outside right away . All the good news first. Our waitress offered selection ideas, which we appreciated. We skipped dessert, but the selection looked great. All in all, a great meal. Our only complaint, when we go out for dinner we enjoy talking to each other, but the music was way too loud and not really music suited for an Italian restaurant. Wow. I just can't say enough about our wonderful experience. We went for Friday dinner and there was a 30 minute wait, so we decided to sit and eat at the bar. Service was on point, quick and professional - from food runners to our server. A shout out to Alisa who took care of us. A total rock star. Turns out she is a manager, but was helping out bartending for the evening. She worked lightning fast, but never seemed rushed. Handling orders, refilling our drinks and chatted - always with a smile. Food was paced well, attractive plating, hot, and most of all, absolutely delicious. We started with the Tuscan Caesar Salad - it was authentic with the right amount of dressing. I would go there just for that! Next we got the Truffled Funghi Bruschetta - wow...just wow Entrees were Spicy Rigatoni ala Vodka and the Orecchiette. Both delicious and had enough left over for lunch the next day. Prices are reasonable and the food is worth every penny. Probably the best meal I have had since moving here 6 years ago. Please don't hate on my next comment, but we moved from NYC - known for its Italian cuisine. We have struggled to find a regular restaurant and many places charge NY prices, but don't meet the quality. iDalia meets and exceeds expectations. The owner stopped by at the end of our meal and mentioned he and his partners have restaurants in Miami, Queens (NYC) and Chicago. They definitely have the formula down for food and service. Had a very nice dinner here recently. Server was knowledgeable and very good. Had some great martinis to get started. Our table had the orecchiette with sausage and broccoli rabe, rigatoni with vodka sauce and the short rib pappardelle. All were really good, the pappardelle being the favorite. The owner and manager both came by to introduce themselves and chat for a bit, which was very nice. Felt like we were in an Osteria in Italy. We were given a delicious pistachio drink at the end of our meal and it was really good! This is a well needed non-chain restaurant that is a huge addition to Parrish. We had a party of six (all from NYC) so we know authentic Italian. The clams were very nice. We all agreed our entrees were under seasoned. Everyone's pasta was overcooked. Went for the first time a few days ago and had an amazing experience. The restaurant has plenty of room and a large covered patio. The indoor/outdoor bar is a nice touch. We sat at the bar and had martinis. If you like Dirty's, then the Dirty Peperoncini is for you. All three of our bartenders were friendly, knowledgeable and just fun to hang with. Next the food. Our party started with the little neck class and the mozzarella cheese wedges. Both were on point and we would order again. Our entrees consisted of the Chicken Milanese, the 24 hr Short Rib Peppardelle and the Lasagna. All were excellent and had plenty to take home. The menu has plenty of intriguing options, but it'll be tough for me to pass on the Milanese Idalia-style, because it was truly amazing. Both owners were in attendance throughout the evening and made the point to chat with all of the patrons, nice touch! The bottom line, this was a great overall experience and can't wait to come back.
