Hubby and I stopped in to get a doner kebab fix. The owner was very cordial and we got our food right away. The kebab's were just ok. We've spent 4 years in Turkey and were slightly disappointed in the portion sizes and quality of the meat and spices -- Just like Dan H. said "feel they held back on the traditional spices and maybe cut some corners" is about right. We must've gotten to the restaurant at an off hour to find zero patrons and 2 tables that were not clean. The staff seemed to be deep in conversation with a friend at another table. 2nd time ordering, and wow I really can't say enough good words about this place. Even on GrubHub, the food was fresh, and they even used a tamper safe seal on the bag which was reassuring. The bowl has a varying assortment of grilled veggies, all perfectly cooked and fresh. The meat (beef) has an authentic and tasty flavor. Combined with their delicious, fluffy rice and sauces (I believe one is a tzatziki sauce, the other is a tomato base), it's beyond satisfying. the portion for the bowl is HUGE. I've had leftovers both times and I eat a lot. This food feels healthy and delicious. Absolutely check this place out if you have a chance, they deserve their recognition. read more

The owners/operators are friendly, and the döner is genuine and flavorful. It's well put together, in either the wrap or platter variant. After every visit to Germany, where döner is king, I return to the states wishing we could get that goodness here... and we can! I visited this restaurant when it opened and again this month, and I found it to be reasonably priced, clean, and delicious both visits. Good prices The "beef" and chicken are very flavorful moist and cooked perfectly Good mix of tomatoes lettuce pickles and the sauce really make the wrap come together. I was in the mood for some Greek food and some beef kabob, saw the place while driving back to work. Thought it must be a sign since I was in for some kabobs. Umm I was a little confused walking into the place. So I was looking at the menu, they didn't have kabobs so the name was confusing. K no kabobs so I thought of maybe getting a salad no salad. Loved the fresh, tasty Donair Kebabs. If you don't know from Donair Kebabs, think gyro with real meat instead of that beef-and-lamb mystery cone of meat and delicious lavash bread instead of pita. We went ten days ago for our first visit and I've already returned with a friend! The beef kebab sandwich is terrific! Carefully prepared, the flavors are super and it will fill you up! My wife's combo plate with grilled veggies and chicken was a work of art - and also terrific. It's also fun to visit with the owners and learn about Azerbaijan! This place was good, but still fell short of my expectations. Utah is lacking on the Doner options and if you've been to Europe, you know how heartbreaking that is. I went with the plate because I was pretty hungry, but I think the doner wrap or sandwich is probably the way to go. The flavor was lacking in the plate although the meat was still great. There wasn't much there in the way of toppings, sauces, and seasonings. But based on pictures of the sandwiches those seem to be loaded. The owner let me know that I could get a mixture of chicken and beef so that is what I went with. Both meats were good. The staff was very friendly. The prices are affordable. The first thing I noticed when I walked in is that the place is spotless. I mean literally spotless - I didn't see so much as a fingerprint or drip on any of the stainless surfaces or a footprint on the floor. Seriously - I don't think I've ever seen a working kitchen that clean before and obviously put a great deal of emphasis on it. Food was really good and made with care. I can see where if you're used to going to a fast food place where unconcerned employees are throwing your items into a sandwich as fast as possible to get you out the door - the service seems slow in comparison. Honestly, I think it's nice to see your food made with care. I believe it was the owners working the counter and they were very friendly and sweet. My two suggestions would be that I wish that they had lamb as a protein option (I do get that maybe that's not a big seller in West Jordan though...) and I'd love it if they had a big salad option on the menu (i.e. swap the rice for more salad) - though I think I will ask if they will do that substitution for me on my next visit. Today's meal was really good but I'm not always in the mood for a lot of carbs. read more

We were out and about and decided to try a new place. So glad we did! This place is great. The owners were very friendly, the food tastes great, and the prices are very reasonable. Everything seems to be from scratch - the owner was even telling us about the delicious paprika sauce he makes. (I've never had red sauce on a doner, but it was amazing, very light and very tasty.) The yogurt sauce is also on point. My husband and I each got a chicken/half beef plate - I have leftovers for lunch tomorrow, though my husband ate all of his (he rarely had leftovers anywhere though, ha). Plates are $9-10, wraps are $6-7, wrap combos are $8-9. Very reasonable prices. We also got a baklava ($2) but haven't eaten it yet :) We'll definitely be back! Yelp reviews drove me to try Doner Kebab. Great staff, agree with other reviewers on cleanliness, but the menu is tiny. You have chicken, beef or veggies. On a roll, in a wrap or on a plate of rice. All very simple. Food tasted fresh, limited options the staff very willing to make me happy and put whatever I wanted on the plate. Ordered baklava, which is on the menu. But they stopped making it. Said it was too time consuming. Would go back in a similar take out situation. Can't really rate more than 3 stars due to limited options. Worth a try for sure. read more

They were out of beef and barely had enough chicken to serve me.. if anyone else was there they'd of been turned away or asked to wait while their new meat was heated. Service was slow and long. One family a head of us and it took over 40 minutes to get our meals. They also didn't have enough food to full fill our order. Had the beef & chicken Wrap one with fries & the other with rice. The wrap was great, just a little dry, but the taste was good. I heard from others if you get the sandwich the bread is so delicious. They just didn't have any today. Hopefully the next time I go there they will have baklava & sandwich bread stocked & ready. I've been meaning to try this place for a while now. It has great yelp reviews and I drive past it almost daily. It was an odd time to go (between lunch and dinner). The place was empty. The guy behind the counter was very friendly. He welcomed me the moment I walked in the door. He asked if it was my first time and explained the menu. The food was good. I liked the pepper relish and the rice. I think next time I'd forego the wrap (it was a bit too dry) and go with the pita sandwich instead. I enjoyed all the veggies in the wrap. I went with the chicken, which had good flavor. I'd like to give the beef a try next time. Overall it was good enough that I'm already thinking about going again.
