I contacted Scott on yelp, got a quote to get some new leather on my Eames Lounge Chair. He replied within minutes with a complete upfront cost breakdown. He was one of the cheapest and his reviews were all positive so I went with him. I told him what kind of leather I was looking for and he had the most amazing piece in stock (so it would be cheaper!). He told me it would take about a month because he was so busy. It took a little over that but my god I would wait double the time for this chair. It is amazing. He added more cushioning as well so it's never been more comfortable. Scott is awesome, fast responsive and service oriented. I've scheduled my sofa repair twice now and both times due to unforeseen circumstances I've had to postpone my appointment but they are very understanding, I have a crate and barrel sofa and the spring are snapping off daily... some repair shops would try to get you to reupholster it entire or try a different system but I really like mine' over at sofa Interiors they only have the option for a heavyweight spring replacement... upgrade! We needed to reupholster a chaise lounge that our dog decided to have for lunch one day. I could not decide on a color or fabric and dragged my husband into the showroom where we met Faviola. She was so patient with us and helped us choose a fabric and color that would compliment our new home and decor. From start to finish Faviola was great to work with, I spent over an hour browsing fabric swatches and when I couldn't find exactly what I wanted she said it was no problem to supply the fabric myself (calico wouldn't even hear of this). A few weeks later, fabric in hand I dropped off my ottoman. The job was done impeccably for a great price in under two weeks. I was introduced to Sofa Interiors and Faviola by my decorator . It turned out to be an amazing experience for me and was practically in my own backyard! I started by having a new sofa made which is terrific. I had been looking all over the place and Faviola showed me that I could select different arms, legs, height, cushion fillings etc. She also showed us a great fabric and I couldn't believe the price. MUCH LESS than anything I had seen. The craftsmanship is excellent! From their I had my dining room chairs recovered and refinished along with 3 chairs and an ottoman from my living room. Also they remade kitchen chair pads for me. You can use their fabric or bring your own but they have many, many fabrics to select from. So I love having unique pieces, so when i see furniture in the magazine or online that i love but i know is crazy expensive i know i can take the pic to sofa interiors to make it for me and i know their quality will be amazing. Basically they are great with custom stuff for a reasonable price based on the quality. I have purchased 2 sectionals and 2 Ottomans and i know this stuff will last forever. Overall i love this place, the only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because it could take a while for them to make your stuff, but I guess since they are hand making the stuff that it takes a while anyway so it's not that bad, it's worth it if you think about it. read more
