The ladies working, the counter were lovely and patient taking the time to answer all my questions about the wide variety of cakes available to purchase as a whole by the pound or by the slice. since committing to one whole cake was impossible we selected three different kinds. All of them looked absolutely delicious and it was so hard to wait until I got home to try them. But they didn't disappoint. Great service, nice clean spacious Brazilian bakery. We love Passion Fruit, so we set our eyes on it. There were two options, one with chocolate and one without. We picked the one without chocolate bc it looked like more chocolate than Passion Fruit. Our Passion Fruit cake was just perfect, nice and light and definitely had the flavor and it was moist not dry. Happy with our choice. We split the slice bc we just wanted a little something. We went here TWICE during our recent stay in Orlando. They have a large variety of mouthwatering cakes and other desserts in a display case. You order at the front and then can bring your treat to a spacious dining area. What I thought was really cool was you order your cake slice by weight, so you can go as big or small as you'd like. This was a great find! A Brazilian dessert joint with great selections of cakes to enjoy inside or to go. We order Podium (flan) and it was the right sweetness, texture, and caramel sauce. We also ordered a slice of chocolate cake sold by the pound. Cake wasn't dense and it had a slight fluffy texture. The chocolate mousse in between had a perfect sweetness and the cake overall wasn't heavy as most Brazilian cakes are. We purchased a frozen mini COXINHAS (they're like mini empanadas) and fried them at home. They were great! Great meat flavors and reminds me the ones from Brazil. So I found that they have it in Brazil and they opened 2 locations in Florida orlando. So I went to the one in orlando. . The vibe is casual. The inside is big and has lots of space to sit down. . I got one slice of the original since I asked what if it's my first time. She described its dry milk and has strawberries. It was good and less sweet than American style cakes. I really enjoyed it, but not sure if I will crave it again. . I paired it with a small single shot espresso which was strong and good. . I have been to one of their locations in Sao Paulo and was not expecting to find such a gem here in Orlando. First impression was OMG they have everything I want. Wanted cake to satisfy my sweet tooth and decided to give this place a try. I have had Brazilian cake before, so I knew it was going to be sweet and all about chocolate. Unfortunately, service really is not great. It seems that they only cater to Brazilians or people that speak Portuguese. We were not acknowledged and it took a while to get someone that spoke English help us with our order. I wanted a certain slice of cake and the only thing that I needed to know was if it had no nuts. The girl that finally took care of us (I did not remember her name) was super nice, friendly attentive, more than happy to answer any questions or made good suggestions. As for the cake, it is sold by weight (by kilo). It was pricey and the slice you get is based on how it had been cut (horizontally or vertically). I was a but disappointed that this is not specified until you decide to get the slice. I am all about the experience and don't mind paying but I don't like unpleasant surprises. Plus, the bad service upon entering, unfortunately set the tone for a bad experience. The cakes are on the sweet side and pretty decadent. After a couple of bites, you will be good to go. You could either order it to go and eat it in a couple of days or if you have a sweet tooth go for the whole thing. Most have mouse made of white chocolate, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, Nido (powdered milk), condensed milk, passion fruit, strawberries or dulce de leche. They do serve coffee and small Brazilian bites as well. Not sure I will be back, but already added it to the dessert list. read more

Since the desserts were displayed like gelato and description/sign was hard to understand, I have a lot of questions. The server was very patience and kind. Staff is helpful and will translate any of the cakes since they are all in Portuguese. Since it's by weight (kg) you determine the size of your slice. We tried one of the most popular cakes - Delicia de leite c/ morangos, and the sugar free cake - Chocomix c/ morangos. The delicia was delicious and reminiscent of a tres leches but lighter. I liked the sugar free cake as well, it was a bit crumbly so I'm thinking it was not as fresh since it was the last slice. Regardless, flavor was good and I liked that there was a sugar free option. The dessert was different but yummy. However, everything is written in Portuguese so it was very hard to understand what was in each cake. They did hand us a booklet that had all of the desserts inside with descriptions in Porteguese and English but the desserts are not in order. Example, each cake in the case has a number assigned to it, but when searching in the booklet, the cakes are not in numerical order (they are listed like # 56, then #2, # 14 etc) so you have to really search which made us feel kinda lost and rushed because they were staring at us waiting for us to order. The Attendant didn't seem too eager to help either. She handed us the booklet and was waiting for us to figure it out. She looked a little impatient too even though there were no other customers waiting. I think they should have the descriptions that are by each cake in English as well as Porteguese to make ordering simpler. A side note (which isn't a bad or good, just a note) they cut your serving from whole cake chunks and charge by the pound and literally ask how big you want them to cut it (like this? Bigger? Smaller?) It wasn't a bad thing, just different. I'm not opposed to going back and trying more of their desserts if ever in the area again because the chocolate cake that I had was very tasty. It's just not a place I would specifically crave or make a trip to go to again. read more

Nice selection of desserts sold by the pound but they do vary in price per pound and the price is not posted so you really do not know until you check out. If you ask the price the answer is " it all depends ". Some cakes are extremely sweet so ask all your questions beforehand because condensed milk is the base for most of these desserts if not all of them and they tend to be very rich and super sweet. I purchased three dessert options and one slice of each but you sometimes cannot get the size you ask for if they feel it will take away from the appearance of the cake that is leftover. Basically you can't get a thinner slice and you can't get the center slice if the larger end piece is all they have leftover. They offer to cut it horizontally which leaves you with a lot of sugary icing around two sides. The ambience is nice and the establishment is clean. I do like supporting this business. My only concern is that every time i have come here there has been either an issue with wrong order ( while eating inside) and they still wanted us to keep it because they said thru cannot refund anything or not the size or piece we really want . Leaves a little sourness in a sweet place :) The price point is about $12 per slice approximately. read more

As a half Brazilian, half American individual, I'd like to start this review with a bit of a disclaimer (for the review, skip to the next paragraph). Some reviews mention that this restaurant specifically caters to people who speak Portuguese, and to that I'd like to mention that this is meant to be a place for Brazilian immigrants or tourists to get a slice of home. Americans are certainly welcome, but they are not the target audience. With that out of the way, this location is amazing. The vibe really hits close to my family's home town of Votuporanga. It is fresh, clean, and feels well put-together. The food is incredible as well! It is fresh, authentic, and is pretty big for what you are paying. The people were really sweet and took/served our orders quickly. We had a big party this time around, and they were very accommodating to our group's size, offering plenty of flexible seating options. I definitely recommend if you are looking for authentic Brazilian food, but tourists be warned: bring your translator or your Portuguese skills because the menu is in Portuguese and most servers don't speak English.
