I come get because the doctor is good. Can't say much for staff who use the vendors and not having time to contact patients as an excuse. I've worked in medical offices for 4 years and were were also understaffed (more so during the pandemic) and were still made the time to contact patients who didn't pick up prescriptions. It's been 6 weeks and only today I found out the second order of contacts cage in TWO DAYS after they were ordered yet no one bothered up call me. I did call and the manager told me they sent out a text but I never received it. She said they don't contact patients again if they're not picked up. She all knew I was waiting for it and she even told me she knows I needed new contacts and didn't bother to contact me or even wonder why I never went to go pick them up if I have gotten a notification. I did suggest to her that that is something they should look into because it makes no sense to leave prescriptions sitting there for over 2 to 3 weeks but I gave the benefit of the doubt and even said if it's been sitting there for over a month why not just contact the person again? Her response was that when they get an administrative day they do. But I don't buy it because it just seems that it's not their priority
. but as far as I know, they have somebody specific for the contact section, and even if they are understaffed, they should make a day or make it a priority to get through the prescriptions that are sitting there. Like I said, I worked in the medical facility for four years and prescriptions that were there for more than a week we would call, and we actually would call every week once a week to remind them because then prescriptions just end up sitting there. This is during the pandemic, when every place was severely understaffed, so while I like the doctor, I can say administrative wise it's changed over the years because I don't remember the staff being this lackluster. One can apologize all they want for it, but to me, it's them just not taking the time to do it, and not knowing how to manage time. Maybe that's something they should all train on is time management. read more
