I spent a while here and was able to see the staff engaging with others. I enjoyed the open layout. The teen area was busy and occupied most of the time. The staff was patient as children attempted to check out books and shared their enthusiasm about school events. I'd definitely return when in the area.

So after a few minutes of arguing with the employee I left very angry. I already had everything needed to fill out my passport so the process wouldn't have taken nearly as long as the argument did. So, I drove down to Rock Hill and completed my passport in about 3 minutes and left with a smile on my face. To say my experience with carmel rd was bad would be sugar coating it. I will not return to that office even if i had a drive 100 miles out of my way to go somewhere else. I feel sorry for anyone who has to step foot in that lousy excuse for a business... oh wait, it's gov't run!! That explains a lot.

The staff was very courteous and the location was very nice and well stocked. They have tons of events for both kids and adults and a large selection of books and other media.

Cute, cozy library with a friendly and helpful staff. Has story time for the children as well as a…read morelittle corner for them to read and play. DVD and audiobooks are available as well as a marker section of newer books. Thankful to have a library in Indian Trail area!
