I was so excited to try this place out because I had heard about all the hype of their pizza! I'm not a huge fan of pizza, so I had low expectations, but this place deserves its stellar rating! I went for their happy hour, which is Monday to Friday at 2 to 7pm. I think it's 25% off all beer and wine. I got their wine of the month, which was either a cabernet or malbec, and I went with the cabernet since I figured it was a safe bet. I don't know the specifics of the wine (sorry!), but it was delicious! And I'm picky about my wines. I also started getting hungry, so I got a slice of Four Cheese pizza. Fair warning: a "slice" is actually 1/4 of a pizza! So it's a pretty big slice! I ate half of it and was full, so I ended up taking half of it home. But I LOVED this pizza - full of cheese, as its name suggests (mozzarella, parmesan, ricotta salata, and gouda + red sauce). And it came out within 5 minutes of ordering it! Not a picky or angry person, but my and my wife's first experience here was the kind of experience that makes you less than inclined to give a place a second chance. My wife and I both did a build-your-own-pie, the base price of which is $12.95, then +$1.75 for every topping. Already that feels pricy, but at a place that feels like a cool, city-feel, "artisan" style pizza place, expectations for a great pizza may (and did) deter price resentment. But such expectations were not met. I did a build-your-own with the garlic oil pesto sauce, sausage, goat and shredded mozzarella cheese (I thought the mozz was included from my understanding of the menu, but the cashier told me it counted as a priced topping, which seems reeeaal silly to me), basil, and roasted garlic. Assuming the sauce wasn't extra, I'm looking at 5 toppings adding up to a $21.70 pizza. Again, I'm expecting gourmet quality, so I'm okay with this. My wife ordered a build-your-own as well, with four toppings plus gluten free, which is a either a $4 or $5 up-charge, I can't remember and the menu online doesn't say. So we're looking at $52 after tax. Better be good pizza. Obviously, it wasn't. Flimsy crust to the extent of almost tasting like straight dough, I was missing the basil and goat cheese, my wife was missing two of her toppings (that's $7 worth of toppings wasted), and neither of our pizzas had any sauce...... literally, no sauce. If there was any, it was the tiniest and most indistinguishable amount imaginable. I am not a complainer, and my wife is even less so, but this was such a ridiculously bad experience for $52. We didn't say anything at the restaurant because we were with friends and didn't want to take time away from our evening with them, but had we been alone I absolutely would have said something. Like I said, it was the kind of experience that pushes one away from ever going back. The one thing I can commend the place on was the friendliness of the staff. If the owner or manager reads this, I hate it when people are unnecessarily cruel to businesses, and restaurants get the worst of it. I'm a waiter myself, and that has given me a ton of empathy for the restaurant business. The only thing I can ask is that somehow accountability with your cooking staff is implemented or improved, because one pizza missing a couple toppings is normal; people make mistakes. But two pizzas on the same order, both missing toppings, both missing sauce (still crazy to me), and for that price... it just seems like there could be more discipline in the kitchen. I don't think it was the cashier because I obviously paid for what we asked for, it just didn't come out of the kitchen that way. Nothing against you guys as a business, of course, just want to try to help you prevent other people having similar experiences. Feeling like I wasted half a hundred bucks, it's unlikely I'll try again, but I wish you guys good business in the future! read more

The location is really good on Maple right next door to Maple Landing. The pizza is always fresh and hot and the toppings are put together well. The one thing that stands out is they only have a few pizzas that have meat on them without pork, I don't eat pork so that's a tad disappointing. This place always disappoints me. Oddly enough I keep trying it. The gluten free pizza is soggy and the crust is nothing special. Also the up charge for gluten free items is excessive. Tried a sandwich this time. The Italia served hot it says... the sandwich is already $11 and it's an extra $4 for a gf bread. I'm expecting something better than decent for $15. As informed by the employee taking my order the sides are chips (not GF), noodle salad (not GF), potato salad (not gf) or a side salad. I have one choice. We ordered the sausage and arugula pizza and it was messy (arugula kept falling off) but tasty! The pizzas are mostly 14" pizzas so between 2 people sharing it's enough! I prefer a crispier crust but you fork and knife pizza fans will find joy in it. I got the Taxican which had brisket so good, they'll have Franklin's in Austin begging for the recipe. If you loved Pizza Casa and Pizza Villa, you will love their pizza. They are also very generous with their toppings. Absolutely delicious.

I can't believe I've just recently find out about this place. It's so close to my office; I'm shocked. I love a good pizza, and this is sincerely good pizza. I love the open-air seating area. There's plenty of outside light, especially with the garage-type doors open. There's a neat little bar with more for six or seven. There's a decent mix of short and tall tables with a small lounge area that looks great for hanging out and relaxing with friends. The patio is kind of small, but very nice for outdoor seating when the weather allows. This first visit was with co-workers, so we order several different pizzas. Meaty Meat - red sauce, ground beef, jimmy's sausage, pepperoni, ham Wild Mushroom - garlic oil, fresh tomato, gouda, goat cheese Sausage+Arugula - red sauce, fresh tomato, shaved manchego The staff and service are excellent. The young man at the counter also waited on our table; the service was timely and friendly. All three pizzas came to the table at the same time and were very hot. Truly enjoyed all three pizzas. Fresh ingredients make these pizzas worth the visit. Growing up in Chicago, I'm a huge sausage pizza freak, so the Sausage+Arugula was my favorite of the bunch. The Wild Mushroom was my second favorite; it had an abundant amount of flavor. The crust on all the pizzas was very consistent with a good amount of char and is pleasantly crispy with a good chew. On my second visit, I picked my own toppings for my pizza. My pizza - red sauce, jimmy's sausage, goat cheese, fresh basil, tomato. Once again, the quality of the pizza was extremely good. I was visiting Dallas for one night with my family and decided to go out for a late night bite near our hotel. Cute place that has a very trendy vibe to it. You place your order and they bring your pizza to you. They have a variety of artisan pizzas you can choose from a slice to a whole pie. We ordered a whole pie of white pizza with mushrooms and truffle oil. Also ordered a slice of their regular cheese pizza too. The also serve beer and wine. I ordered a glass of Merlot and was shocked that it cost $12 for a glass of wine, I had to take a second look at my reciept. The pour of wine they give you is less than most places I frequent. The pizza is pretty good. The wine is too expensive in my opinion most high end restaurants charge must less than that. The staff was friendly and welcoming. read more

You could pretty much tasty freshness of the ingredients, no can flavoring so I think it is legit it unless I am missing something from the back. Nice little bar area with 14 draft beers and a bunch of wine behind the rack as well. The restrooms are located at the door immediately to the right as you walk in and out a little hallway and had a pretty clean demeanor about them but they were not that many customers here at the time, so that might be a factor. It might be just a manager I want to believe it might be the owner and he was very helpful into guiding me and what and where I can order. . Pretty friendly people I say, no snooty teenagers working here. The patio area is very inviting to sit and eat. This was a good place to take a date. read more

Came in with a menu that was very clear. The dining area is amazing, being able to sit outside with a beautiful patio, or inside, or half inside/outside. The staff was super friendly and clear on suggestions, what's good, etc. There's a bunch of craft beers to choose from if you're into it. but the pizza.... is f****** amazing... the cheese is so good, and the crust is so soft and thin. I'm glad they think of the earth and give back to charities; however it looks like the consumer is doing it through the higher pricing. It is a nice place, and it looks small but inside it is prettt big and social. There is a couch area to chill and the view is nice from the inside. Unsung hero. This place is good and a medium on the inexpensive scale. We didn't know this place was even here even though we live close but I found it on yelp a while back and now it's one of our favorites. It's laid back and not right on the main drag so you don't get a lot of traffic if you sit out on the patio. They have taps for 20ish beers and a wine menu. You can also order by the slice if you're looking for a "light" pizza meal. They have great wi-fi so it's nice to come and order and work on work stuff while grabbing a drink and some Za. It's not the best pizza in the world, but it definitely beats out Domino's/Pizza Hut/Papa John's. I got The White and really liked it because of how different it was from a traditional pizza. The balsamic added a nice flavor to the 'za which was tart and sweet at the same time. The large size was perfect for three people with a slice to spare. Social Pie also have other specialty pizzas on the menu which sound tasty along with items such as sandwiches and tempting sides.
