Keep in mind that this store is next to the stadium and carries authentic gear so the price will reflect that. It's also seem like a small store so I get it. I saw they had some sales on certain items like hats but it's final sale with no returns. The staff here are very nice and the moment you walk in, will ask if you need any assistance. I didn't see much items for kids here. There also not a lot of parking here so it's street parking or if you're lucky, there a handful of small parking spot in the front.

They started by asking lots of questions to find out exactly what I would be doing to make sure they would have the right support. The staff also sold me a shoe insert that I think really made a difference in how supportive the skates felt. It was about $70 on top of pretty expensive ice skates but well worth the cost in my opinion. I highly recommend the store for any hockey needs. They seem to also be really great with children and everyone else who had questions in the store that evening. The facility also has sharpening on site, so my skates could be baked and sharpened and ready for me to wear the same day. But the best part is... It didn't smell like hockey in there at all. (:

You are also able to order online which is awesome as well! What made me write this review was the experience I just had the other day. I really came here to return my sons hockey helmet(which stupid me brought the box without the helmet), but I knew I needed to get my son a new helmet and check the size in the store. Alec was the person who helped me! He was awesome, best customer service experience I have gotten in a very long time! Alec helped me choose a helmet in my budget and fit my son with the right one. I also knew my son needed new skates. They have a machine you stand on that does all the sizing and measurements which was really cool. Alec was not pushy and was price conscious for me which was pretty cool. We found the skates that fit and not only did he help with that but we had them baked and sharpened right then. I also, purchased colored wax laces and told him my husband might kill me if I brought them home for him to lace; and low and behold he laced them right up with a smile on his face. This type of customer service rarely exists anymore sadly. This dude is awesome! Now today I had to go back in and return the helmet I ordered online. He was there again and helped with the return as well as Pat. I actually came in 10 minutes prior to them closing and they didn't act annoyed or anything. Pat was very friendly and had great customer service as well as Nathan. They were all really cool dudes. The return went rather smoothly and everything worked out better then I could have imagined. I will definitely be a repeat customer and I hope these guys stay for a while because they make the store that much better! I highly recommend pure hockey over any place else. You will be happy you came here!!

I purchased new boots in August and returned on 10/26/2025 to get them heat molded. Jason greeted me right away with a friendly handshake and went above and beyond to make sure everything fit perfectly. He took the time to listen to my concerns about my right foot, explained the process, and made precise adjustments until the fit was just right. I learned a lot about my boots just from chatting with him--he's professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about his customers. Service like this really stands out. Thank you, Jason, for getting my boots mountain-ready and making the whole experience enjoyable. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend this location to anyone looking for ski gear or expert service!

Our family of five skiers has spent a lot of money with Epic over the years (three growing kids)!…read moreWe've alway had a good experience until today, when I needed to exchange a set of brand new poles with the tag still on (just a tiny bit too tall for my growing teenage son, needed to exchange for one size smaller). My husband bought the poles last weekend, without me present, and of course he no longer had the receipt, as husbands are wont to do. I figured they have our purchases on file so I went in for the exchange. One staffer was super helpful, quickly grabbing a new set of poles in the size we needed. Unfortunately when the redhead went to do the exchange, she accused me of returning used poles because the rubber on the handles was slightly scuffed--I said no, they were just purchased last weekend and the tag is still on (with the snow was bad as it's been this year, we've hardly been up at all!). I said--that must be how you sell them, because you can see this new set I was just handed was also scuffed up on the handle. Of course after that she found the order (under my phone number not my husband's) but it feels pretty crappy to be accused of something when you're just a loyal customer trying to get the right size gear for your child. I have to say, I'll think twice before visiting this Park Meadows location again. Maybe Aurora will be better.
