The store has a good variety! The staff were not friendly at all. Seemed bothered if you asked for help or opinion. Uneducated in any type of soccer cleats. So we tried various ones on and did our own research in the store and ordered online else where. Needed some merch for my friends show quickly. Soccer city is not normally a place you would go for this... but they do look n house printing and totally came trough... The sweaters were provided by me and made in two days. These guys are rad and worked w me on fonts and sizing of print. Great selection of products, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Came in to get my daughter some stuff she needed and I have no idea what or where things were located so I kindly asked for help and the lady seemed absolutely irritated and very rude! Unfortunately this is the only soccer in the area or I would more than happily take my business elsewhere. I walked in this evening an hour before close with my three kids who all needed cleats. We were the only customers in the store, yet the employee helping us was short, visibly irritated, and dismissive. When I asked about measuring my child's foot, he told me there was no way to do that yet a foot measurer sat on the ground behind him. We ended up leaving without buying anything because of how poor the service was. Really disappointing experience. read more

We felt extremely uncomfortable walking in, the staff was not welcoming at all. they offered 0 help, we asked for a size and they took for ever to bring out. Also, they were watching us like HAWKS, every single employee was watching me and my 3 kids at all times. We felt uncomfortable, like if we were going to steal! Honestly, after reading the reviews I was also hesitant about going to this store. Guy behind the counter is worthless. He hovered around me, so I finally asked for a specific item (I felt pressured to start a conversation). Once he realized they didn't carry what I was looking for (after one ask) he said "NO" then walked away like I was wasting his time. Funny enough, I would have just asked for a different item. Instead I walked out after being flabbergasted he turned his back on me. You can tell a location like this is only open because someone else hasn't opened the same business model. Prices are just above big box stores... but not by much. Very competitive prices for being a little store. HUGE selection of equipment. More than any other store in town. This place needs to find better employees because the customer service here is horrible and sucks!! I walk into an empty store and the two employees at the register are too busy on their phones to even greet me. After like five minutes of looking around, in this store with barely any products and some that are used, an employee that looked like he was stoned, comes up to me with his hat covering his eyes and asks me what I'm looking for. I told him and his response with no enthusiasm was "on the wall is all we have". No duh thanks for the solution. You all are better off going to a high end sports store for your soccer needs. I was hesitant to come when I read a post saying they charge five dollars to try shoes on. I later discovered that charge is for the $300 plus shoes that will be refunded if you buy them.(totally understandable). Great service really after 4 stores of trying to find cleats we finally found the perfect fit. The employees took the time to help my daughter and work through her special requests. Prices were reasonable and the selection was the largest in the biggest little city. read more

Everything we needed for a last-minute sports equipment stop. And by sports equipment I mean soccer balls, cleats, and jerseys! Prices are high for what they sell, but it's nice to have a one-stop shop. We read mixed reviews about the customer service - it took them a while to stop chatting with each other and notice us, but once they did, they were very nice. We didn't interact with the manager. We enjoyed the variety of shoes and clothing options and bought a good amount of supplies. Now I just need to play more soccer :) read more

This place is horrible. The bad customer service is a joke. The two employees that were in there seemed to be disturbed, and made me feel uncomfortable from the moment I walked into the janky overpriced store! The heavy set male employee with glasses didn't seem to know much about soccer and was very unhelpful. The bad attitude seemed to rub off on the female employee that was there also. They would not help us get a shoe - one guy told me women's and men's cleats fit different - and wouldn't get us the men's. I'm a jersey head collector they have some cool jerseys that are over 5 years old at ridiculous price. I have avoided this place because I hate the customer service the big guy with the glasses is just plain an simple in kind words a jerk. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone that either wants to get into soccer or already knows their way around the sport and it's culture. I knew a lot about the sport before I stopped by but didn't have a whole lot of experience with what type of cleats are the best & the difference in brands etc... The people that work here are awesome, super friendly, and actually know what they're talking about. The prices are pretty good especially considering the quality of whether it be a jersey, shorts, jacket, cleats, whatever you're buying, it seems like everything at soccer city is the real deal plus there are always crazy deals and discounts around the store. I came in on a Saturday having never been inside & after shopping around for an hour found out that they had actually closed 20 minutes prior but were so cool that they didn't kick me out at closing. I highly suggest to anyone that's looking for a place to buy soccer merchandise to come here, you'll have a very good experience! read more

Do not shop here!! I'm giving one star because I have to, but I'd give zero stars for their criminal way of conducting a business and their poor excuse for customer service. They are overpriced and will not work with you if you want to return their unused, unworn products. They DO NOT HAVE A RETURN POLICY. In fact their policy is NO REFUNDS. They will only do exchanges or store credit which is total BS, especially once you realize that ANY other sporting good store can supply you with better gear at better prices and ANY other place will actually be helpful in guiding you even slightly in your purchasing decisions. A wallflower of a teenager, who likely was working his 1st job, just hovered over us and when ever we had a question, he just grunted and pointed us at another place in the store. We, who were 1st time shoppers in the store and 1st time shopping for soccer gear for our 1st soccer season for our 5 year old, were basically left floundering to our own devices to wander the store and try to figure it all out ourselves, which is an experience I could have gained with no employees in the store in the middle of the night, LOL. We ended up putting a combo of shoes and shin guards together with no guidance, and made our purchase. We could not find socks in the store for our son, so we knew we had to go somewhere else. Long story short- we found shoes, shin guards and a new ball, all in one deal for 1/2 the price at Big 5, just 45 minutes later, as well as making off with the socks we also needed. We then returned to this ridiculous store and upon walking through the door with a bag the "manager" met us right there and headed us off at the pass with the store policy of no returns, no refunds, only exchanges or store credit. I told the kid that I had to leave before I said a bunch of inappropriate things. The result even after voicing our displeasure: Now I have a flimsy little card that says "store credit" BIG DEAL!! Its a matter of principle, i didn't use the gear, they saw me within an hour previously, they essentially had me pay for gear and got to re-stock that gear for free. So basically I walked into this store today and donated money, which really chaps me. It is not really a consolation that I have store credit to possibly return in the future and help myself to another bad deal at this store.They basically took my money-laughing all the way!! I urge you to shop else where. As a customer you should have the right to return items you do not want, especially when they are unused. The policy of this store on returns is nonsense and it is entrapment, and is poor business practice, that doesn't foster an environment of turning you into an ongoing customer. The "manager" said they've been in business for 5 years...I don't think they'll be there much longer with how helpful they are to the community!! read more

Let me start by saying my family and I always support local businesses over big box stores. I want to see Soccer City succeed, but based on our experience, it won't last long. The prices aren't competitive with online or big box stores, so all they can offer is great service. And the service was bad. We were not greeted. We were not asked if we needed help. There were 2 employees working and at most 2 other customers in the store. We had to ask to get shoe service and listen while the employees discussed movies. They did not check to see if the shoes fit or if we needed another size. It felt like they couldn't have cared less that we were in the store. And to go along with the bad service, the store is unkept. The floors are in need of a good cleaning and it is difficult to find sock and shinguard sizes because they are not well-organized. We made our purchase, but I will think twice before going back. read more
