Shopped there for years, never going there again. Don't take your children there!!!…read more While looking at fishing poles and reels to buy myself for veterans day, my two daughter's were walking around excited to look at the new store I'd never taken them to before. They had walked upstairs thinking it was apart of the stores selection, upon seeing it was full of boxes they walked down and came back to look at the knives near the reels I was looking at. A man that worked at the store ended up approaching them soon after, asking them if they had gone upstairs. They answered yes and explained they hadn't seen the signage stating employees only until they came back down as it was poorly placed against the wall near the stairs and barely visable. He then insinuated they stole and made a show of saying he would check the cameras. Once I stepped in and said my children aren't thieves he then double down and said that they had cameras. I left infuriated leaving behind a 200 dollar purchase with a bad taste in my mouth, safe to say I will not be going back.

Absolutely had a fantastic experience here. I was recommended to come here by my mother in law who…read moresaid all the locals go there for fishing gear. I am just starting my fishing journey and was going to have one of my experienced friends join me on a little shopping spree. We are still going to do that shopping trip but I wanted to get a head start. My goal was to go in and buy a tackle box. Each person I saw smiled and waved. One of the sales associates noticed my perplexed look on my face when looking for tackle boxes and asked me if he could help. I explained I am new to fishing and I am starting with trout fishing. This gentleman immediately gave some tips on tackle boxes and walked me through some gear ideas. He had me hold a rod and was showing me how strong it was if I had a fish on there. He was really patient with my questions and when another customer saw him, that customer was like "you sold me my first fishing license years ago" (I think he says 20 years ago to be exact). This associate name is Glen and let me tell you, find Glen because he will take care of you. I ended up purchasing a tackle box, a rod and reel. When I went to check out, the cashier was friendly and reminded me to take my receipt in case I needed to return something (thanks for looking out for me). Finally, when I went to get my fishing license, the associate lady (her name escapes me at the moment) was super friendly and after we talked about my journey into trout fishing, she showed me some good stuff that she uses and I bought that too. I would say, the employees that I encountered loved what they do and gave exceptional advice. Whether you're new to fishing or experienced, this is the place to go. I can't wait to come back as a I continue to grow my supplies. Thanks for the great experience!!

Morgan Creek might be the only store in downtown Sedro-Woolley worth going to these days. Living in…read moreSeattle I don't often have much need for outdoor gear outside of my hiking boots and the occasional wax for my snowboard, but when I head north to my parents house I get a little more country. So when dad and I decided to go fishing over the Fourth of July weekend, I needed to renew my long neglected fishing license. I thought we'd be heading into Burlington for the big outdoor warehouse, but dad pulled up in front of Morgan Creek and I was shocked to see that the place even existed in deserted downtown Woolley. So we go in, and I'm immediately floored by how much stuff they have packed into this little store. Not in a confused, haphazard way, everything is very organized and clean; you can find what you need quite easily. They have pretty much everything you'd need for a short trip to the lake or the woods. Rods & reels, lures, ammo, firearms, doe urine scent (that's right Seattlites, I said doe urine scent. You put it on your boots so you don't get your human-smell all over the place and scare the deer away.) Mike and the rest of the staff are super friendly and helpful, and are available to help you out with anything you need, including tips of what the fish are biting on and where. And this place just oozes of small town USA. It's the kind of place where everyone in the store knows everyone else in the store, and people are glad to see you. Sort of like Cheers, but for rednecks. To top it off the store is painted adorably. Yes, an outdoor store has an adorable paintjob. Check it out, you'll see what I mean.

Purchased a camper trailer on clearance in April back in 2023…read more We have had many issues with the camper. The first time we took it out, all the batteries were dead and we brought it into the shop. All they did was charge it. Next time we took it out, the battery was also dead again. When they did an initial inspection, they found nothing wrong with the rv. We finally called to service the rv in July after we were unable to get power to the rv through a power outlet. Something was drawing all the power out. Turns out there was an issue with the electrical system. Seems like the initial inspection they did was not thorough. Luckily it was going to be covered by manufacturer warranty but it took over 2 months to get the warranty to be approved and for all the repairs to be done. By the time it was finished, it was already September and almost time to winterize the rv. It really foiled our plans. The customer service is deceiving. They were friendly and helpful until after we purchased the rv. They don't really care after the sale was done. It was also our first ever rv purchase so this left a negative impact on our whole rv experience.
