To be completely honest. I almost never write reviews... With that said, I'd like to mention that I have always had a fantastic customer experience whenever I visit Soccer4all. I've met some incredible individuals who really do take their time to ensure you are taken care of. It's crazy to say that customer service is sometimes far more important than anything else. Feeling welcomed and knowing that the staff members are doing their absolute best to meet your needs is something we shouldn't take for granted. I've come in a few times to pick up some new soccer equipment/ cleats/ soccer balls or stopped by to take a look at newly released modes. Sean has been available to help me multiple times and I must say he is a fantastic guy. He is very well educated in his department and he pays close attention to the fine details. Also! This will be the last time we spend money with Soccer4all. Went in today to buy a new ball and boots for my 9 year old. He needed to use the restroom so we would be able to stay and shop. We were told that the staff would not allow him to use their restroom- so we left. We have spent hundreds of dollars at this location getting gear for club soccer. We will no longer support this store. We left today and will never come back. Good luck soccer for some. read more

Did ya know that Academy - a HOUSTON-based sporting goods store does NOT carry Dynamo gear? Oh, they have all the other pro/"popular" teams - Astros, Texans, Longhorns, Rockets ... they even carry Cowboys and Rangers sportswear - but NO HOUSTON DYNAMO. For shame. I've come here to equip our daughter each new soccer season, and had had exemplary service before, but this was the polar opposite. We came to the store this past Saturday afternoon, and we saw an employee helping one family, but no one else. After a couple of minutes two employees came out of the back joking with each other, but they went to the cash register and appeared to be working on some things there. After a few more minutes, I went and asked one by the register if he could help us. He said, "Whaddya want?" "I said, "Cleats for my daughter." "You want Adidas? Nike?" "I don't know. She's wearing a size 2 right now." My daughter asked me a question, so I turned to her, but he just stood there. After another few moments, I finally asked him, "So...can we try some on?" "What kind?" "Some that will fit her!" His entire attitude was so off-putting. He finally went back and after a few minutes came out with some cleats to try on, but instead of helping her, just placed the boxes down on the bench next to her. I got on the floor and helped her, but in retrospect we should have left at that point. We eventually found a pair that fit, bought socks and shinguards without any further assistance (since none was offered), paid and left. We used to come here because the friendly, knowledgeable staff were worth the slightly-higher prices. But higher prices and this level of "service"? No, thank you. read more

Parking in the Village is horrendous, but if you're a soccer fan, it's worth circling the block a few times to stop at Soccer 4 All. Coaches and players can get team uniforms and equipment here, but if, like me, your playing days were 10 years and 20 pounds ago, fans can get their favorite teams' scarves and jerseys at this futbol mecca. You'll find all the requisite Dynamo gear, as well as almost any club or national team you can imagine. AC Milan, Man U, Real Madrid, Argentina, Italia, England, they're all here, even the likes of Slovenia or Nigeria. And of course the old red, white, and blue. If you've waited until this close to the World Cup to pick up a USA national jersey, you're probably out of luck unless you wear a child's size. But you can always try online for anything that's not available in the store, or the staff will helpfully contact their other locations to find what you're looking for. When I couldn't find a Greek jersey in my size, they had one brought over in a few short days. All for soccer and Soccer 4 All. read more

I know, I know--five stars is a pretty generous rating. . .but I love this place! There are jerseys galore, sale racks everywhere, the new store is nice and spacious, and they do make an attempt at decent customer service. All great things. Things that would probably bring it down a few notches include the crazy prices for some of the jerseys (but that's to be found anywhere) and the awful parking problems in Rice Village. Regardless, I stand by my high review. As a Dynamo fan (and the future wife of DeRo), I needed to get some orange gear for the season. The hubby had already found himself a real jersey (complete with a tear at the neckline from a game) at the pre-season kickoff and I was feeling pretty jealous. I found myself a jersey and didn't bother to try it on. Had I done so, I probably would've noticed that it was CHILD'S size. . .yeah, I'm an idiot. It fits (kinda) and since they don't have a great return policy, I'm "that girl" with the overly tight jersey on, sweating away at the games. In the back of the store, they have a great sales rack full of fun stuff. Jerseys from other teams (though mostly teams outside the US--I'm not sure what would happen if they brought in some FC Dallas stuff!), jackets, warm up gear, soccer balls, shin pads, etc. Since the only two sports the hubby and I can agree on for our (future) kids are soccer and volleyball, I have a feeling that I'll be frequenting this store quite a bit if we're still in Houston at that time. Sure, the prices may seem a bit steep, but as with all specialty stores, they can do whatever they want to. At least they keep the store clean and have semi-helpful service. read more

I love this place. The selection is great and the service is wonderful. The parking is horrible, but that's the norm here at Rice Village. Inside the store the layout is simple. You have replica jerseys on the left and along the wall leading into the cleats. In the far right corner you have the clearance rack and lacrosse equipment. The TV near the dressing room is tuned to only one channel during regular business hours, Gol TV, surprise surprise. If you're a Dynamo fan or know of one this place has the perfect gift. Their Dynamo section is the biggest I've ever seen and the accessories take up most of their checkout counter. A great time to get a deal is when they present a new jersey or at the end of the season. They offer personalized jerseys and numerous jerseys from around the world. If a foreign team is coming to Houston they have great deals. Overall this is a great store for the Futbul/soccer enthusiast. read more

This place in Rice Village seemed slightly dead on a Saturday. The two counter guys were laid up watching (American) football, but I get that there's little to do with no customers once you've dusted everything a dozen times. They were friendly though, and let my partner try on some soccer gloves without hovering over us watching every move. Much appreciated. Conveniently located in the rice village this little store has a great selection of cleats and soccer gear. They have a great sale section and I actually got a pair of 200$ Adidas cleats for half the the price! I always love coming in here because they have great team merchandise; but last week I had such a great experience that went above and beyond. I had a couple of pairs of socks that my daughter got as part of her required items for plebe year at a service academy. She bought 8 and 2 were wrong. I had never returned them. This summer, she needed the same good socks so I went to S4A with the other socks and the year old receipt. The guy laughed and pointed out the return policy that I was sure was in place. I knew I was well beyond the date and told him to just keep them and give away or sell - I truly was not worried, and I needed the other socks. So as he rang them up he mentioned that he would actually take them and thanked me being flexible. I really cannot describe them friendly and warm interaction, but I walked away feeling so happy about the whole thing, especially the laughs - we need those these days. I mean I had taken a year to return them AND had them in a competitors bag. He could have just said no and I was fine with that but he keep smiling and did the unexpected. I used to like coming here because it was a local shop and conveniently located. However, this is no longer the case. I recently purchased a pair of flats for indoor soccer. In a rush on a lunch break, and without proper socks, I tried on a pair, liked them enough, and purchased them. Later that day, upon putting them on in the car on the way to the game, they did not feel as great as before. I left a message on the voicemail that I wanted to return them the next day. The shoes were unworn outside of the store and my vehicle, and the employees acknowledged they were brand new still. In full transparency, the shoes were on the clearance rack, and Soccer 4 All has a no return/exchange policy for clearance items that I fully understand and acknowledge. Clearance items are on clearance for a reason, and the store needs to move this inventory. However, customer retention is also important. I came in the next day and told them about the shoes and that I was hoping there was something that could be done. At first, they referenced the policy, which I stated I was aware of and understood a refund was not a mutually beneficial solution, but that the shoes were not a good fit. I was hoping to exchange the shoes for another pair of shoes on clearance, or any other product on clearance. Luckily for me, this was a solution the in-store manager accepted. While looking at the other shoes and items on clearance, finding a better fit or another clearance option, the in-store manager comes back out and states that he spoke with the general manager, and, "well actually", we can't do anything anymore for me. Discouraged, I stated that, as a repeat customer, this would seriously affect my decision to continue shopping here. All I got in response was a shrug and another employee telling me to wear multiple pairs of socks. Again, the policy is clear regarding clearance items. However, if Soccer 4 All remotely cared about me as a customer, an exchange of clearance items, like-for-like, would have been enough for me to keep coming back. Additionally, if they cared about me as a customer, they would not have allowed for an exchange then went back on the statement while I was searching for a new clearance item. Moving inventory at all costs over basic customer appreciation/retention is now the lasting impression I have of Soccer 4 All. read more

I came into this store yesterday looking for uniforms for my soccer team and I ended up getting a pretty good deal on 16 uniforms. The employee and the manager were really helpful and friendly and the store itself has a wide variety of soccer jerseys and equipment. Has a big variety of soccer equipment for reasonable prices. Some of the jerseys are pretty high priced but worth it. The dynamo selection is very big and has many cool things. The replica jerseys are awesome and sometimes have sales on last seasons stuff which makes it very cheap. I used to love this place as I liked supporting a local shop. However, I went in for some simple shin guards, but one of the staff recommended another pair. The shin guards broke as soon as I tried them on at home. When I tried to return them for an exchange, he told me I couldn't because they had been opened. Never going back. Horrible customer service. There were 4 employees kicking a ball around in the front of the store while a handful of customers were in the back at the cleat wall. Each person had to ask someone to help them. This was on a Saturday at noon. I was in the store for 20 minutes and not a single person greeted me or asked if I needed help with a size. Luckily I found a pair in my size that fit really well, so now I know exactly what to order online from someplace else. read more
