I'm stoked to unveil it to all my dishes. 4. For the work he does, his price was fair and I'm very grateful to have found him. Thank you!!

Hired Luis to reglaze a tub and tile shower surround at a property in Riverside. A previous owner…read morehad reglazed it years ago and that coating was peeling off in sheets it looked rough. I got three quotes. Luis stood out for one reason: he was the only one who gave me a straight answer about prep. I asked everyone whether they strip the old failed coating or just sand and coat over it, and he explained exactly what he does remove all the loose material, feather down what's still bonded, then primer and finish coat. No sales pitch, just the actual process. He was also upfront about what he doesn't do. He told me he'd remove the fixtures but wouldn't reinstall them since the finish would still be wet, and he was clear that regrout and caulk would be done where needed rather than promising to redo the whole thing sight unseen. I'd rather hear that honestly up front than get a surprise mid-job. Price came in well under the other bids, and he included the regrout, which the other companies wouldn't touch at all. That saved me from hiring a separate tile person. He's licensed (CA #922072), bonded, and everything checked out on the state contractor board. Estimate was clear and he updated it without any pushback when I asked him to spell out a couple of details. Easy to work with and straightforward throughout. Would hire again.

Over the years, we have worked closely with Luis, and a few qualities have consistently stood out: he is always punctual, offers fair pricing, and delivers remarkable results. This time, we decided to move forward with a project Luis recommended: refinishing one of the wood laminate kitchen countertops in our rental unit. Initially, I expected the result to look like a simple repaint, especially considering how worn and faded the laminate surface had become. However, once I saw the finished work, I could hardly believe my eyes. It genuinely looked as though we had replaced the countertop with granite. The finish appeared solid, durable, and waterproof. Luis and his team did an outstanding job. I was truly blown away by both the quality of the workmanship and the final result. I only wish I had taken before-and-after photos, but judging by the many client photos already available, you can clearly see the level of quality they consistently deliver. Would I use Always Refinishing again and highly recommend their work? Absolutely: 100%.

I really and truly cannot say how impressed I was with Cal at Calmore Enterprises. I shipped a very…read morenice cabinet piece to a client in Chino Hills, California from my location in Dallas. During the shipping process, the cabinet got a sizeable dent on the top of it. Because my client didn't open the box until after 2 months after receiving it, the manufacturer wouldn't replace it. I was in dire straights to have someone help me take care of this client. I called two other furniture repair places in the area and the first one said Chino Hills was too far to drive and the second one, who had many more reviews than Cal, said there was no way it could be fixed and even if it could be fixed, it would cost me thousands of dollars. Cal was my only hope. I loved the fact that he said he was a God-fearing man, who didn't work on Sundays and he was not just talking the talk. I could tell this gentleman would do his very best and that was all I was asking for. He quoted me a great and fair price, a price I was so pleased with, that I ended up tipping him. Well after the work was done, I got an email from my client in Chino Hills that said, she couldn't even tell that the cabinet had been damaged and that she absolutely loved that Cal had done the work because she had never seen someone who was this passionate about his work, and someone who wasn't going to leave the job until it was done perfect. I truly believe God gave me Cal to work with because I had been really frustrated with my first two phone calls to the two other more "popular" furniture repair folks on here. Many times when you're dealing with contractors, you feel that a win means, not getting taken of advantage "too much." With Cal, I truly had my best experience ever when dealing with someone in the repair and woodworking trade. I cannot express how much I recommend Cal and I hope you will be blessed just as much as I was with the opportunity to work with him.
