I had the pleasure of dining at Sobo's last week for a wine and tapas event. In the fall, I bid on and won a gift package donated by Southern Boys Concepts to support The Maryland Life Crisis Center. This gift included 4 tickets to Evolution Brewing's Oyster Festival (Fabulous!), 2 all-you-can-eat crab dinners and a pitcher of EVO beer at The Red Roost (another great experience), and Tapas and Wine for 8 at Sobo's. We were 4 couples that drove an hour from home to try out Sobo's. All 8 of us were blown away by the quality and creativity of the food and the exceptional service in a cozy yet energized environment! Our server Alisha served and paired 8 different tapas for us. Chef Ryan came out to check on us about midway through and then at the end (to much applause) to ask for feedback. They were both amazing! Tuesday is tapas night at Sobo's but the group experience is not necessarily on the menu. We were told it is certainly something they will do upon request. The atmosphere is warm and sparkly. Soft lighting, nice music ( which someone turned off when the restaurant got busy and very loud and then turned on again as the evening progressed, attention to detail!), and creatively partitioned areas that made you feel like you were not on top of each other in a small space. Southern Boys Concepts produces consistently good food, ambiance, and service and actively supports community events. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

A total gem in Salisbury, I was so happy to come here! The ambiance is warm and inviting and the wine selection is just perfect. I was with a group so was able to try an array of items after coming here two nights in a row (because yes, it was that good!). First and foremost for the appetizers the buffalo cauliflower was the best I've ever had! Seriously, is order it just as a meal if I came alone. They were perfectly crisp and tender with just the right amount of sauce. Crispy Brussels sprouts were good, but thy is becoming a common option at restaurants and there wasn't much to set these apart, but they were good and I'd get them again. The calamari and the special lime cilantro fried shrimp were also good, but the clear appetizer was the cauliflower. The entree I had (both nights) was the blackened local rockfish with crab and pea risotto. Everything on the plate was perfect cooked and tasted exactly as I expected from the menu description.

Aloha, probably the best bang for your buck in restaurants in Salisbury. We had a family dinner in the private room, nice. Our wait-help was great, very attentive. Food was fresh & amazing. Everything from Brussels sprouts to burgers, crab, short-ribs & pork chops, all yummy & well prepared. We will be back again & again, as I think the fam's favorite restaurant in town.

Had a late meal with family. Whole meal was great- cream of crab soup, jumbo crab cake dinner and shrimp and grits. Finished with Oreo Cheesecake. Staff was very good and friendly. Overall A+

My parents live in Salisbury and nearly every time my siblings and I visit we stop by! The menu consists of reliable, classic dishes from the shore with a modern twist. The staff is typically quite attentive, however the service can be quite slow. We always get the crispy brussel sprouts as an appetizer. The sprouts are grilled till they're crunchy and tossed in an orange Asian sauce. The complimentary bread is good when it is fresh out of the oven. We tried out both of the tuna appetizers tonight - the bites and poke. The bites were tasty and creatively presented. Watermelon radishes were folded into half moons, stuffed with spicy tuna, and threaded on a kabob stick. The poke was underwhelming - it needed wasabi or something. I think the problem was how much rice there was for an appetizer. My mom and sisters always get the filet with fries and are never disappointed. I love the rockfish with crab and peas risotto. It's so comforting without being too heavy. My boyfriend got the scallops with gnocchi. I couldn't help myself from stealing pieces of the gnocchi! I love that they sell desserts from local establishments. They rotate flavors of ice cream from Chesapeake creamery and smith island cakes. Tonight we tried out the banana walnut and chocolate pb. Both were delicious! The rest of the table enjoyed the creme brûlée and Oreo cheesecake. We love this place. We always leave with a smile on our face and full bellies. Looking forward to more meals!

We ordered 2 sandwiches for our lunch time meal today. I choose the chicken salad sandwich, and the other was the sliced turkey sandwich. My chicken was plump and chunky, however, very dry. The grapes helped, but didn't save the sandwich. The turkey sammich was apparently a lot better than my choice. We both agreed that the French fries were pretty good. We might try this spot again.

Happened to meet up with my best friend from Sacramento here (I live in dallas). This place was recommended and I see why. We had the crab avocado toast (very fresh and flavorable). I ordered the mussel appetizer (amazing flavor) our daughter had the rib eye special and ate every last piece, my Bestie had the salmon and said it was very good and my husband has the filet and ate it all. We had the Brussels sprouts appetizer that we all shared (great fresh flavor) We had the table all night and never felt like we were being rushed out of it. Thank you for a perfectly enjoyable evening with family and friends.

Ribeye was good, rockfish & lobster risotto was amazing. Deconstructed tuna roll (poke) was special. Good beer and wine list.

The space itself is massive, and beautifully and intentionally designed. It's on the top floor of the hotel with a really stunning interior. We had a 9:00 PM reservation on a Saturday night. I highly recommend making a reservation in advance because this place was insanely crowded. Despite how busy it was, we were seated promptly right at the time of our reservation. The food and drinks were outstanding across the board. The steak was cooked perfectly and the Patatas Bravas were a favorite of mine. The cocktails and mocktails were excellent--the house Negroni was one of the best I've had. One thing worth noting: this is definitely a lively and loud space. Great for groups, celebrations, or an upbeat dinner night, but maybe not the best choice if you're looking for a quiet or intimate evening. Lastly, the staff were all incredibly warm, kind, quick, and hospitable. Even with how packed the restaurant was, service didn't feel chaotic or inattentive. Overall, a really wonderful experience and somewhere I will absolutely return to!

This restaurant is located on the top of the Cambria hotel. I heard it was popular, but even with a reservation we had to wait over 25 minutes to be sat at our table. And our table was a high top right in the bar area which was a little disappointing. It was up against a window that I'm sure would have given us an amazing view but it was already so dark outside. The interior of the restaurant was also extremely dim. Because of where we were sat it was extremely loud and I felt a little stuffed into the seat since there was a party of 5 directly behind me sitting. The menu is expansive. We obviously celebrated with a bottle of wine and our server Nina (I think that was her name) was very attentive and always made sure our glasses were filled. The bread was delicious and we decided on a couple tapas. It was hard to eat just because the table was tiny. The food was beautifully presented and came out staggered which was nice. The steak was great, the calamari was very standard. And the crab fritters tasted like a lot of filler.. our favorite was the mushroom and scallop risotto. I'm not a scallop girl but the risotto was cooked beautifully and had such a savory unique buttery flavor that I'm still thinking about! I'd come here again but 10000% please make a reservation!! The ambiance is vibey and the food was pretty good. Be prepared to spend some $$ here!

Our meals were average at best and were mostly boring examples of the same old pub type menu. My advice if you're looking for a place close to the Eastern Shore . Ambience was 3 stars , service 3 stars and food at two stars. Perhaps if there were a manager on duty they might have gotten a better review. As always another visit hopefully would see improvement.

I've been coming here for the past 2 years, and the food changes are incredibly disappointing…read more I used to rave about most everything on the menu. They used to have good portions and really good juicy burgers, and their fries were good too. The fries changing led to the burgers changing, and then the rest of the menu followed. I'd come here a lot when it was worth it. Now the food is usually overcooked or just charred completely. The fries are hand cut now but have become someone else's acquired taste because to me they're just greasy and usually overfried. The portions have gotten smaller and smaller, and the salads have gotten outrageous. It's barely a side salad amount for $15, just spread out in a large flat-bottomed bowl. While the owner's/ manager's clearly either put your kitchen staff under duress, and they no longer like cooking, or you've fired the ones who cared about the food being great. I'm also thinking they changed supplier or got cheaper with their ordering because the ingredients have also suffered in quality greatly. The drinks are very pricey no matter what you get. Also, the receipt lists the gratuity percentage incorrectly, which just seems kind of mean and nasty, so shame on the owners for that one. I will always tip my server well... Don't lie to me to pay your workers...you should pay them more. Either way, you're trying to trick me into tipping more so you don't have to pay your waitstaff because they didn't make enough money which is pretty foul. I wish people were better.
