The wife and I usually do are grocery shopping here. It's a little further from our place but, we feel it is worth it.

Nice and clean store. Like their pharmacy, much more convenient to use and a bit less pricey than Shoppers.

Nevertheless, there are plenty of great multi-buy offers, and/or Airmiles rewards for many items. The hot food counter serving pizza slices, sandwiches, wings and other dishes is great for lunch, and reasonably priced. The deli counter has lots of interesting cheeses and meats and there's also a good selection of beers. Staff generally are friendly and helpful, whether you go to one of the cashiers or self-checkout, they're there to help. Despite being surrounded by a multitude of condo high-rises, I've never found the store to be overtly packed with customers. It's good for the location.

I was a bit blown away by the selection of products and the variety of products at this location. they had 5-6 coolers of kombucha all scattered throughout the store. in my travels I was able to find some ice cream that I can't find at my local grocery store, some cheese curds imported from quebec(YEAH BUDDY!) and some other kind of dessert. this location has a fully stocked seafood section with live fish and lobster, as well as a bakery and deli counter. looks maybe deceiving from the outside, but this location is definitely the best in the neighborhood of mimico. this location is serviced by the 501 queen streetcar and the 66B bus im not sure about the parking situation in respect to payment or not? lots of options above or below ground though! no complaints about this metro!

Entertainment District, Downtown Core

What a fabulous find in the middle of downtown!…read more Fantastic selection of various Asian fresh, frozen and pantry staples - imported & local. It's mostly focused on Chinese ingredients, but they have enough items for Korean and Japanese that you can get by with in a pinch. They also seem to have separate mini boutiques for assorted tchotchkes and beauty products which I didn't investigate. The store looked pretty new and very clean. They also had an impressive array of hot and cold foods to-go that looked quite good, although I didn't try any. If I have any complaint, it is the fact that most of the vegetables are prepackaged in miles of plastic wrap and styrofoam... it is shocking to see. But aside from that, I'd have to say this beats the T&T by a good margin, and I am a T&T devotee from when they opened their first store in Burnaby in the early 90's!

Outside of your everyday Asian products, they had a lot of prepared food - sushi, side dishes, including kimchi, etc, dim sum, fried foods, hot buffet with all your popular Chinese foods. I went back few days later to grab some food for dinner. I got some items from the buffet, dim sum, order of fried shrimp tempura and kimchi. Skip the kimchi, the dim sum was decent and the food from the buffet was worth it. Check out moves quickly, the staff behind the buffet were very helpful. Make sure to bring your own bag.

Absolutely my favourite Rabba. They have their own bakery (always having fresh croissants/muffins…read moreetc) in the morning as well as subway and a brand new Tim Hortons. However as my go to Rabba and my experience over the years there were great employees who were always very social and provided great customer service and knowledgeable about their tobacco/vape products. I don't see many anymore of my favourites and I feel like customer service has dropped. Darcy is still there and one of my favourites who had always been charismatic and talkative and helped me find things in their store. Brad was a totally amazing dude. Besides his knowledge of helping me find my shopping products; he really helped me quit smoking and switch over to vaping and honestly by this point I'm glad to say I've gotten over my addiction. Haven't seen him in a while but did personally want to tell him how great of a worker he is and that he was very knowledgeable in vape products and literally benefitted me in my everyday nicotine addiction Abdullah who I'm not sure if he runs the store is really nice to customers and very polite. He was very understanding more than a few times when I was short on money in purchasing groceries and honestly he has such a kind heart. I can't recall the bakery department employees but all are so friendly and nice to me when I want to buy something in their department. Also! That sweet lady who works at the Sushi Shop. She's such a sweet lady and very generous in letting me sample different types of sushi's (pre covid times) and even sometimes applies a 30% discount. And that's just a great plus cuz I love sushi :) PLEASE READ BELOW I love this place because of all these reasons but these new employees and rarely when I shop/visit overnight. They're not so friendly and don't provide much customer service. Those 3 Rabba employees kept me coming back and that the lady at the Sushi Department :) I don't want to lower the review score but right now honestly I'd rate it a 3.5/5. I don't see Darcy, Brad nor the sushi girl much, but Abdullah is the one always satisfying my experience. These new workers, with no disrespect, should really work on customer service because essentially ones experience and having recurring shoppers/customers is essential

Plenty of selection with some at rock bottom prices where the incentive is to move their product, rather than to maximize a profit. That's appreciated when you just need to cook and are not in the market for tourist activities. It's right across from Essence on the corner of Kensington beside rasta pasta. Since the location is usually busy, the stock gets replenished frequently and they never run out of any items, at least not during the times I have visited. Plus during the warmer months there's an abundance of fresh produce and herbs to purchase for your own indoor/outdoor gardens at home. It seemed like the whole outside of the store is lined with mini containers screaming take me home, take me home and pick me, pick me. I'm always tempted to buy some as it'll be convenient to have freshly available produce at home, but just haven't taken the bait yet since I like coming to the market. The selection of fruits and vegetables may seem overwhelming, but everything is neatly organized and labeled well for easy identification and pricing. Whatever I'm looking for or want, they seem to have at any given time. They even have fiddleheads which not many places in the market carries. Overall, a good place to pick up fresh produce without paying too much and one of my go-to places in the market.
