This is one of the smaller no frills store. My exposure to this location is limited to when I visit the Costco nearby and want to pick up something that's not sold there. The store is not well kept and the things in the produce section are just piled on. The packaged items fare a bit better. The variety is limited. The prices are good as that's their niche. The checkout are ridiculous as there is hardly any space when a line starts to form and they do get slammed consistently. Service at checkout is particularly poor as the cashiers have an attitude like they are doing you a favor. Ah well I guess this area this is not much in terms of alternate so they can keep packing the crowds day after day. read more

Overcharged on flyer item and did not realize until I went home and reviewed receipt. Now I am told I have to go back to same store for refund and that there is no direct contact information that I can have to deal with the store directly. read more

They sold me an open product and I did not notice until the next day. I unfortunately misplaced my receipt but didn't think it would be an issue because previously I have been able to make exchanges without my receipt no problem when there was an issue in the quality of food I purchased from this location. The manager Heather was outright rude and did not even try to help. She talked to me with so much disrespect and attitude in her tone that while I was trying to make this exchange, I noticed other shoppers stop to watch. It was humiliating. When I left the line I had another customer tell me how appalled she was in addition. As a manager myself, customer satisfaction is always number one. I will not be returning to this location again and I suggest taking your business to JIm and Maria's No frills where you will be treated with respect from the employees and managers. Because Heather failed to assist me with my exchange, I went home and dug through my garbage, found the receipt and returned it for a refund. And took my business to Jim and Maria's. read more

Smaller store, parking lot beside is always packed. There never seems to be enough cashiers....They need to address that. I come here when I'm coming from Costco. Otherwise I go to the one closer to where i live. read more

So I decided to stop into this location when I was on the Queensway and heading back downtown, thinking I'd grab a handful of groceries for a couple meals to start the week. It seems I should've waited for another location. I was able to find some adequate peppers and lettuce in the produce section on arrival, but once reaching the meat section - terrible cuts, bad pricing, and minimal options to be found. I ended up having to buy ground turkey and a taco kit because of how unimpressive the meat selection was. Perhaps its because this location seems smaller than most, but the general selection of products was worse. They still had the same types of boxed food and an average amount of frozen foods, but even noticed less selection of things like the pre-packaged salads and fresh pastas versus what I'm used to seeing at No Frills. But it might be an Etobicoke thing, as both No Frills I've visited in Etobicoke have made me not want to return to either. I'll leave that mystery for someone else to figure out. read more

I have been in here a couple of times to pick up groceries. While I don't like having to cross the street from the parking lot, I like this store. This No Frills is always clean when I have visited. By clean, I mean that it looks like someone took time to sweep up in the corners, not just run the automatic sweeper. It is also evident that someone takes pride in stocking the shelves. They are straighter than any grocery store around. The staff are also of above average friendliness. Smiles are usually abundant. read more

The layout here seems a little odd to me, but maybe that's just because I'm used to the No Frills I usually shop at. My only complaint here is that they were completely sold out of hamburger buns at 5:00 on a Sunday afternoon. The cashier was quite friendly and had me on my way in short oder. read more

i purchased a carton of chocolate milk today..the carton was marked 50%..expiration date was july 10..tomorrow..when i got it home i opened it, then poured a glass..when i took a mouthful of it...it was sour(chemical sour)... ...i ran it back with my receipt and was told that you can't bring anything that's marked 50% for a refund...i have bought a bag of bananas(50% off) which i could examine before buying it for banana cake...how does one check if the milk is sour...why would no frills sell sour chocolate milk, even if it was 50% off...the lady finally gave me a refund but cautioned me that next time it's 'not going to happen'...'just warning you', she said... .....this was the first disappointment from a store that i visit frequently... read more

I shop here only because of the proximity to my house. It's a regular no frills that offers price matching and such. I wish their team were more diverse. There seems such a divide with gender: only females cash and most guys are doing the sorting and packing and customer service on the floor. read more

I live near this store so I have no choice .I have made a few requests for Vegan foods to be ordered in as their are a lot of things that runs out fast,must be a lot of Vegans in our area .The Cashiers are friendly & helpful. I am a big fan of their produce section its not too big & prices are good. read more

not the best in the area, I found myself coming to this location on a weekend, when the location closest to my apartment wasn't open. the location is extremely easy to get to, with an incredible amount of parking. unfortunately the stock in this store is quite small, I was a bit surprised to find out that I was able to get half of the items on my list of six items. might be worth stopping in for some milk, or something very common, but don't come here for "non-staple" items. read more

I think this is the best No Frills in the city. For its size, has everything I need. The store is always well stocked and clean. Tony is amazing, he is a store owner that really listens to his customers. He actually took the time to call me at home regarding a product. The staff he hires is well trained and friendly. If you live in the neighbourhood this is the place to shop. read more

dropped into Tony & Kathy's No Frills Sunday afternoon (july 8th). couldn't find an associate for assistance, but the best part was @ check out. Our cashier Paige was busy checking her phone - that is why we got bags and her not checking my points. As we continued our check out Paige continued on her phone - multi tasking - getting pay for a job well done and still being able to stay connected with her friends all day long. I was extremely annoyed at both no frills locations in etobicoke ( queensway and royal york) because when I brought my 11 month old shopping I couldn't put him in any of the carts. Every single cart had the seat belt strap broken . I mean literally every cart. Since carts cost 1$ deposit we took the time to take out about 6 carts when we noticed the whole row of carts were broken. Maybe I'm a paranoid mom but I don't want my baby trying to stand up and falling out or hurting himself so I had to carry him around the store. We needed just some basic things when we noticed they were out of almost everything including distilled water .. no stock. On a separate visit to this location same problem with ALL carts seat belt being broken.. when I asked for baby formula ( it's locked up) I was told to wait by the formula and someone would be over ...after 15 minutes some stoned kid walks out and says he can't find the key so I can't get formula...literally didn't have a care in the world as he dragged his feet away from the Isle. SOOO annoyed. Today I tried royal york no frills ....same problem with the carts except the deposit is 25 cents not 1$ ..but if I have to try and carry my kid and push the cart I'd rather not shop here. Most likely not be returning as walmart price matches all their deals. read more
