Concha French toast and requeson pancakes

The food was AMAZING! We tried the chilaquiles, requeson pancakes and the concha French toast and they were all so delicious. The restaurant has great ambience and the service was also excellent!

    CARNITAS BOWL

This bowl packed a punch, and it is big enough to share with someone. The meat was tender and juicy. It was a little pricey, and the ice machine was down when I went. I'm tight in between 4 and 5 stars. I'll come back on the right occasion.

Came for the elite event. This isn't your typical sit down style restaurant. This is all takeout - drive up and order. I ordered the SOBE bowl with carnitas (extra). I enjoyed it. The meat was cooked perfectly. I also liked the sour contrast of the slaw (cabbage and radish). My bowl had a nice spice to it which I believe came from the crema sauce, but it wasn't too spicy. -1 star - The rice was caked on the bottom of the bowl and it didn't have much flavor. The chips that came with the meal were store bought, but still decent. I REALLY wanted the horchata but they said they weren't serving it today...bummer! However, the hibiscus drink we got instead was very refreshing. The lady that helped was really nice and helpful.

I love the tostadas and agua frescas here, everything tastes really fresh! However, the birria burrito and Asada bowl I got recently was a bit salty and there wasn't much of the avocado salsa in the bowl so it wasn't very flavorful. The prices are a bit high but they do have very tasty items!

It's a fun little drive thru place. I don't love it like some other people rave about it, but I did think it was decent. I like how they make the food look pretty and it's unique.

    tinga chicken rice bowl

The regular restaurant is drive-through only. I discovered Sobe Eats at a convention where they were one of the food vendors. wasn't sure I wanted to try it, but then was sorry I hadn't been eating there every day! I got the tinga chicken rice bowl. Plenty of tasty and tender chicken on top of perfectly cooked pinto beans and rice. The taste was enhanced with cojita cheese, salsa, crema, and those delicious pickled red onions. Even though this was at a convention and even though there was a line, the servers took the time to make the bowl attractive with radish slices and cilantro. The photo doesn't show how much food there actually was, but it was filling.

    Shrimp tacos

Absolutely five stars for flavor and presentation. I had the shrimp tacos combo. Another five stars for the person working. Very friendly. Drawbacks? I'm still hungry! $15 after tip and I'm hungry :( Also I really don't like this location. So many places have failed there bc the traffic and in and out access is really bad. I will be back order something different that might fill me up.

So good! Food is absolutely amazing!!! I wish they have sit in. Services is great! Wish I took a picture of the mojito was great. My only complain is that they need to open one in Utah county!

    Birria Bowl Tuna Bowl
    Kristyl H.

I had been wanting to try Sobe Eats for some time and my family finally relented. Yay for me!! We ended up ordering the Birria and Tuna bowls and they did not disappoint! We also ordered the chips and sauces. At first glance the bowls don't appear to be that large, but as you are eating you realize how much food you actually have in front of you. Although the food was delicious the birria bowl was a tiny bit too spicy to me, but I am not sure if it was due to the meat or the sauce on top ?? Even still I would like to see a bit more sauce to go with the rice in the bowl. The chips were quite delicious and as were the beans. The individuals working were also very polite and great to engage with. Overall I will, and have, recommend Sobe Eats as well as return to try something new!!

    Birria Burrito

This place is packed with different flavors and a tiny bit of kick. From the tinga bowl, chips and dip to the birria burrito, I really wasn't a fan. The birria had good flavor and the burrito was packed full of it ,but, it was missing something maybe. Tinga bowl has a lot of good variety, which I love, but my taste buds just weren't having it. Chips and dip came with a sweet tangy sauce, that actually leaked through the holes of the box and got on my pants. Bean dip was good, who doesn't love beans, and a couple other sauces packed with flavor. We felt teased driving up seeing signs for dessert, we really wanted some churros, but, to our surprise, they didn't have any. We opted for the Hibiscus and ginger drink and the mojito instead.. The drinks were my favorite thing about this place. The mojito, minus the liquor cause they don't put that in, brought me back to my time in Cuba. You can never go wrong with a mojito and this place didn't disappoint on that.

    Chicken Kids meal
    Jessica H.

I got my kids the chicken kids meal. Their bowls were so spicy that they could only tolerate a few bites before throwing them away. I feel that the default for a kids meal shouldn't be super spicy! Total bummer to waste that food and money. Added one star because they said the cookies were the best they'd ever had.

Elevated fast casual is the name of the game at Sobe Eats, where the food is almost too pretty to eat! We ordered the birria bowl, poke bowl, chips and dips, and the Mojito and Sangria mocktails. Our favorite for sure was the birria bowl- that slow roasted beef is no joke!! Birria is becoming a trendy food in Utah, but THIS is the birria you are going to want to try! We loved both mocktails, but our favorite was the Mojito! The chips and dips were the perfect thing to share while we enjoyed our bowls Go and try out this incredible concept, you won't regret it

    Short Rib (Birria) Burrito

I love this place so much. It gives me a great taste of south Florida right here in UT. Everything I've had here has been 10/10, from the birria torta to the veggie rice bowl, it's all amazing. I think my favorite thing is the sauce they drizzle on your tortilla chips (I could put it on everything I ate for the rest of my life!) Also, the mojitos are super refreshing and tasty so don't forget to grab one of those! My only complaint is the layout of the drive thru because I always have to do a 3 point turn to get to the pick up window. It also would be cool if they had a parking lot you could eat in, but these are minor details.

I had the biscoff and Heath, and my friend had the cream cheese with fruity pebbles, if I remember right. I almost didn't want to eat it because it was so beautiful. Don't worry though, I ate it. The whole thing. I took a picture first. Don't worry about that either. So! These weren't what I expected. I think I expected more of a churro type treat--cruncy and cinnamon sugary. It wasn't like that at all. It's not even really like a waffle, or very crispy on the outside, if that's what you're expecting. It is different, and hard to explain. The dough is thin, but not like a crepe. It's more like a cinnamon roll type of dough, but not in flavor. The shape is neat. It's fun to kind of "unravel" it to eat it. Since they give it to you hot, the spread kind of melts and falls down the middle, which is good for dipping, but dangerous for dripping, so beware. Chimneys are a new take on treats, and definitely worth a try.

I wish the staff would've told me about the 30 minute wait. These are traditional Hungarian cakes rolled into a cone shape with your choice of 1 spread and 1 topping, and optional whipped cream with extra cost. Simple menu, very limited options. I got the Nutella with candy cane sprinkles. The cake itself is lightly sweet. I was expecting the texture to be soft and spongy but it's more of a crispy cake. The cake is rolled first and then Nutella is spread across the inside of the cone. The toppings are added to the brim of the cone. If you want whipped cream, it'll be in the center of the cone. I thought it was delicious but it was quite expensive to pay $7 (including tax) for something that is so minimal. Personally, I wouldn't try it again because there was not a wow factor and the ingredients are simple. Good for the novelty, not fulfilling for $7.

You definitely need to come early if you want to get the oxtails because they sell out real quick. I got the fried catfish with Mac n cheese and dirty rice. I ordered the fried catfish plate with collard greens and cornbread. The catfish was perfectly golden and crispy on the outside while staying juicy and flaky inside -- seasoned beautifully without being greasy. The collard greens were tender and flavorful without being overly salty, really seasoned perfectly and the cornbread had a great texture -- moist and warm but not overly sweet. And then some bonus surprise hush puppies that were so so good! Crunchy on the outside, soft and savory inside -- it really rounded out the meal and left me smiling. Prices are fair for the quality and portion size (my plate was $21), and the service vibe was friendly and welcoming. Their menu's stacked with everything from Big South Wings to ribs and jambalaya, and I'm already thinking about what to try next.
