The Monte Cristo was perfectly cooked and the salty/sweet balance was unbeatable. On a sunday morning, it was plenty busy but our server was attentive, funny, and so helpful (wish I remembered your name, diva but she had beautiful long nails and perfect eyebrows and a septum piercing). The waffles? Also insanely delicious. It has such a fun, cool vibe and because of its placement on a cute, welcoming street, eating outside was the perfect way to savor the end of summer.

WOW. I cannot say enough good things about both items. The breakfast burrito might be the best I've ever had in the city. I will dream about the shredded beef and green sauce combo. And the French toast flight didn't disappoint. I loved the Biscoff and my friend loved the Nutella. Even on a hot day, the patio was delightful. And it's dog friendly! I really liked our waiter and appreciated how fast the service was. 10/10 - cannot wait to try again.

Biscuit Benedict - first time having it on a biscuit instead of an English muffin. It was amazing. I dug right into my dish not relaxing halfway through I forgot to take a picture of it. First impressions walking in the vibe is nice, love an open concept kitchen, that way you can really see the efficiency and flow of the staff and that brings a bit of liveliness to the atmostphere. I started off with an Limey Palmer, absolutely delish, loved the crunchy sugar that they mix into the drink for optimal sweetness. As an Arnold Palmer gal this hit the spot. Bonus points for giving me to go cup so I could take the rest with me. For food I got the biscuit Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was a pretty lemony, but I really did enjoy it. In fact, I loved it's so much I came back the following weekend for the same thing, absolutely fantastic. The biscuit with all the fixings was absolutely delightful. So I think in talking to most of my friends I got a good view on the food, and presentation. I had a starter of Totchos, and the Beef Dipper for my entrée. Both were excellent, I shared my Totchos. These are tater tot nachos, they were excellent, normally I don't like cheese sauce on Nachos, but given the consistency and flavor of this sauce (house made, I'm guessing. Not canned) They were excellent. The Beef Dipper and Au Jus, also top notch! Generally in a French dip, there is a lot of fatty pieces, this was not that. Also at my table was the Chile Verde bowl, this one has a kick... but my friend having it really enjoyed it. The fish and chips was great, smelled fresh. Lets talk about the sides. Choice of Fries (appeared to be battered fries, always a favorite of mine.) Tots, or house made potato chips. I had the Potato Chips with mine, these were excellent, crisp and tender on the inside. The Athena (Lamb Burger) got rave reviews from one at the table The Service: Because we were in a large group they advised us they were going to be taking our orders as we came in so not to overwhelm the kitchen staff. Excellent communication throughout service given that we were a large group. I talked to one of the Owners, Laurie, I could tell she had a huge sense of pride in the place. Very friendly! The Restaurant: Great atmosphere, Fun artwork, best of all, VERY Clean, nothing sticky or no grease buildup on any surface. The glass ware on the wall behind the bar as all polished. In the bar area they stack their silver, tableware, condiments etc. in a cute little cozy box on the table, with the main dining area setup as a diner with the traditional paper napkin and silverware. For a diner motif to have shined silver and glassware is a nice touch! Summary: Eat here! The prices are reasonable, the food is excellent, when I looked at the menu online I was a little put off by no actual entrée's on the dinner menu, however the in house experience made up for that, it's a pub food vibe and they are doing it well!

It's a bit on the pricey side for a fast casual bfast spot, but the ingredients are quality and the sandwiches are really filling. I love eggs so much, and they do it right: their scramble is custard-like, herby, soft and delicate. Paired with the melty American cheese, it's hard to beat. I love their chivey tots with the bechamel. Chef's kiss. They have a good range of drinks as well. Skip the cold brew and order The Baltimore: fresh orange juice, pineapple, and mango puree. It's like sunshine in your mouth. The house made pickles are just ridiculously good. Ample parking, though I don't love that it's right by Trax and the parking lot is easy to miss, especially after frequent railroad crossing lights. Not their fault though.
