It's a small little area to get into and easy to miss but the inside is so cute and the workers are excellent. I used to go to the little drive thru that they had but it seems like they've upgraded to a place which I enjoy so much better to be able to sit and eat with others. At the time we went they even provided sangrias on the house for us. Spectacular service! The food is fresh and amazing!

Came for the elite event. This isn't your typical sit down style restaurant. This is all takeout - drive up and order. I ordered the SOBE bowl with carnitas (extra). I enjoyed it. The meat was cooked perfectly. I also liked the sour contrast of the slaw (cabbage and radish). My bowl had a nice spice to it which I believe came from the crema sauce, but it wasn't too spicy. -1 star - The rice was caked on the bottom of the bowl and it didn't have much flavor. The chips that came with the meal were store bought, but still decent. I REALLY wanted the horchata but they said they weren't serving it today...bummer! However, the hibiscus drink we got instead was very refreshing. The lady that helped was really nice and helpful.
This bowl packed a punch, and it is big enough to share with someone. The meat was tender and juicy. It was a little pricey, and the ice machine was down when I went. I'm tight in between 4 and 5 stars. I'll come back on the right occasion.
I love the tostadas and agua frescas here, everything tastes really fresh! However, the birria burrito and Asada bowl I got recently was a bit salty and there wasn't much of the avocado salsa in the bowl so it wasn't very flavorful. The prices are a bit high but they do have very tasty items!

I'm still hungry! $15 after tip and I'm hungry :( Also I really don't like this location. So many places have failed there bc the traffic and in and out access is really bad. I discovered Sobe Eats at a convention where they were one of the food vendors. wasn't sure I wanted to try it, but then was sorry I hadn't been eating there every day! I got the tinga chicken rice bowl. Plenty of tasty and tender chicken on top of perfectly cooked pinto beans and rice. The taste was enhanced with cojita cheese, salsa, crema, and those delicious pickled red onions. Even though this was at a convention and even though there was a line, the servers took the time to make the bowl attractive with radish slices and cilantro. The photo doesn't show how much food there actually was, but it was filling.

We also ordered the chips and sauces. At first glance the bowls don't appear to be that large, but as you are eating you realize how much food you actually have in front of you. Although the food was delicious the birria bowl was a tiny bit too spicy to me, but I am not sure if it was due to the meat or the sauce on top ?? Even still I would like to see a bit more sauce to go with the rice in the bowl. The chips were quite delicious and as were the beans. The individuals working were also very polite and great to engage with. Overall I will, and have, recommend Sobe Eats as well as return to try something new!!

Elevated fast casual is the name of the game at Sobe Eats, where the food is almost too pretty to eat! We ordered the birria bowl, poke bowl, chips and dips, and the Mojito and Sangria mocktails. Our favorite for sure was the birria bowl- that slow roasted beef is no joke!! Birria is becoming a trendy food in Utah, but THIS is the birria you are going to want to try! We loved both mocktails, but our favorite was the Mojito! The chips and dips were the perfect thing to share while we enjoyed our bowls Go and try out this incredible concept, you won't regret it
I got my kids the chicken kids meal. Their bowls were so spicy that they could only tolerate a few bites before throwing them away. I feel that the default for a kids meal shouldn't be super spicy! Total bummer to waste that food and money. Added one star because they said the cookies were the best they'd ever had.
This place is packed with different flavors and a tiny bit of kick. From the tinga bowl, chips and dip to the birria burrito, I really wasn't a fan. The birria had good flavor and the burrito was packed full of it ,but, it was missing something maybe. Tinga bowl has a lot of good variety, which I love, but my taste buds just weren't having it. Chips and dip came with a sweet tangy sauce, that actually leaked through the holes of the box and got on my pants. Bean dip was good, who doesn't love beans, and a couple other sauces packed with flavor. We felt teased driving up seeing signs for dessert, we really wanted some churros, but, to our surprise, they didn't have any. We opted for the Hibiscus and ginger drink and the mojito instead.. The drinks were my favorite thing about this place. The mojito, minus the liquor cause they don't put that in, brought me back to my time in Cuba. You can never go wrong with a mojito and this place didn't disappoint on that.
Had a lovely lunch experience here. The inside is decorated so cute. Tables are spaced apart nicely, and the chairs are comfortable. The service was fantastic! Food was served fresh and delicious. The only down side the the parking lot -- only three spots and no where else near to park and walk over from. read more

I tried Sobe Eats for the first time today, and im disappointed to say that I had a rough experience. The reason being that there was some sort of wire (think broken Bobby pin) in the birria bowl i bought, and soon after returned. I genuinely feel lucky enough to have caught it in the bite I took, and was able to remove it safely without enduring a hospital visit. The biggest reason im sharing this is to simply warn others. Aside from that, the few bites I took were enjoyable and im sad that this happened. read more

I love this place so much. It gives me a great taste of south Florida right here in UT. Everything I've had here has been 10/10, from the birria torta to the veggie rice bowl, it's all amazing. I think my favorite thing is the sauce they drizzle on your tortilla chips (I could put it on everything I ate for the rest of my life!) Also, the mojitos are super refreshing and tasty so don't forget to grab one of those! My only complaint is the layout of the drive thru because I always have to do a 3 point turn to get to the pick up window. It also would be cool if they had a parking lot you could eat in, but these are minor details. read more
Saw their tent at the Art festival at Liberty Park and just had to try it. They have a food truck as well, the presentation is so colorful and fancy made it a tough choice to decide. Went with the beef short rib tostada, and watched him make it. So fresh and delicious. They use locally sourced ingredients with perfectly ripe veggies. They need to serve these in a restaurant and charge a premium. For sure will hunt them down when I see their truck or tent. read more
Interesting concept by the three Soberanis brothers. Garden fresh items on a tostada. Minimal waste, locally sourced, boxed water, etc. check all the hipster boxes. Best checkbox though, tasty. It's a nice healthier option when surrounded by fry centric food trucks. read more
I was so impressed by this place! The drive through vibe with the lights is so cute. I will say the wrap around drive through is a little awkward - we had to do a three point turn to get to the other side. I wish they could have given it to us through the first window, where we paid. We went here on a whim, and were a little surprised that a rice bowl was $13.00. We ordered the Birria rice bowl. However, when we got it, we were shocked by how huge it was. It is a LOT of food and we easily split it and both felt satisfied. The flavors on this thing were to die for - so flavorful and such a fun twist on Mexican cuisine. Next time you're by 9000 S, check out Sobe eats! You won't regret it. read more

Sobe Eats caught my attention as I was out running errands and actually on my way to pick up some quick fast food somewhere else. I immediately looped back around and decided to try them instead because they've got some serious curb appeal with their clean branding and little outdoor bistro area, coupled with their own drive-thru setup! (Also, small businesses are great to support over chain restaurants, especially right now.) Entering their location is a bit tricky if you're not looking out for it, so pay close attention if it's your first visit. But, if you know what you're looking for, it's easy. They're RIGHT off the main road leasing to the interstate onramp (across the street from At Home). Once you've pulled in, getting through the drive-thru is super simple. The menu is curated to include just a few options, which I love because generally that means they're able to do those few things really well. Also, it's less overwhelming trying to make a decision! You can select from four or five traditional Mexican meat options (chicken tinga, birria, seafood) as well as a vegetarian option. You can also request gluten free and keto! Meals are served as rice bowl with various different toppings and they have some kids' meal options, too. The rice-to-meat ratio could have been pushed a little more toward the meat end, but the bowls were filling! Prices range from around $5-$15 for a meal and $2-$4 for drinks. I got a Sangria mocktail and, while the meal was delicious, I would go back for that alone! SO GOOD. The only dessert option that I saw was a chocolate chip cookie, which I got when I upgraded to a combo meal. It was a good cookie and looked like it might even have been freshly made (??). But, I think it would be awesome if they offered something more in line with the rest of their menu- like tres leches, sopapillas or OMG CHURROS. I would be all up on that! I'll definitely be back soon. Even sooner if they get some Mexican desserts up in there. read more
10/10 recommend this elevated Mexican food. Food: Stand apart, quality ingredients, gourmet and unexpectedly delightful. The burria is my favorite-bowl and street tacos (off-menu) or burrito are all excellent. My family prefers the bowl. The chips and dips are a must. DO NOT LEAVE without a mojito and sangria. I'm a bit conflicted about giving this a 4 or 5 star. The food was fantastic. The flavors were complex and unique and addictive and the meat is really tender. The chips on the side had a sauce on top that was amazing and I wanted more of that dip. It may have been that I was incredibly hungry but I finished my burrito and was still a touch hungry. I guess I expected (or just hoped for) a slightly larger burrito for $13.50 plus tax. Either way, I'd get it again. read more

This place is definitely underrated and in a little bit of a weird spot as well. I would only say it's weird because it's hard to get out of onto such a busy street. But wow it went way past our expectations! The bowls looks small but are super filling. We got the Tinga rice bowl - so good and it was presented well too. We mixed it together well and it had a little bit of a Smokey taste. We decided to do the combo with a drink and cookie. The sangria and Acapulco mock tails. read more
What a wonderful experience I was able to have when these guys combined efforts with Thirst drinks and San Diablo churros to make a 'quarantine kit'. Included were two tostadas. They were so amazing! I mean I've seen photos, they look amazing, so colorful! So I had chicken and my husband had short rib. The meat itself was very moist and flavorful! The tostada was also packed with some potato and some cheese crumbs. The only thing I might change is having more cilantro because that is good stuff haha. The single tostada with all the goods on top came with another plain tostada underneath and for good reason, there is no way all of the stuff fits on the single tostada. There was a combination of flavors and textures that just worked together! Plus It filled me right up, I was surprised at how plentiful it was. I'd be happy to visit them again I. We were in food heaven at Sobe Eats. Didn't realize they had a drive up location just off 90th South - perfect before RSL games. Their food made us ooh and ah with a spectacular blending of flavors with a beautiful presentation. Loved it all but the Tuna Poke Bowl was my fav. The chips and dips were fabulous. Don't usually get excited about Mocktails but could have gotten "drunk" on flavors in the Mojito and the Sangria. read more

This tiny tiny little drive through is able to somehow produce a wide variety of Mexican ish food. The poke bowl was shredded not whole pieces of tuna and was actually a fairly small amount of meat for the price. Prices are overall affordable. The real star of the show here was the margarita mocktail I got for free for mentioning Utah grubs! read more
