He has proven himself to be untrustworthy, dishonest, unreliable, etc etc. We have had the inspector out several times and Spencer's work can not even pass inspection. He blames the City, the Inspector, but not himself. We foolishly paid him for work that needed to be redone, yet again, trusting that he would correct his mistakes and a month later he continues to fail to even show up to the Job Site and lastly this is a rebuild in Coffey Park and so Spencer knows he is holding up completion of a house for someone who has suffered enough already. I would not recommend attempting to use his services.

The first time I ever called him, I wanted to get an estimate for an installation of a gas pipe in my fireplace, thus turning my wood-burning into gas optional -- which is way less messy to run. I'd gotten estimates from 2 other plumbing companies. They wanted to charge me $1200 and $1500, respectively. Spencer came and checked my fireplace. As it turned out -- he showed me I already HAD a gas pipe in my fireplace. He took out a wire brush, cleaned out the holes in the pipe -- turned it on -- and voila! Gas. And he only charged me $55.00. Over the years, he's been at my home to install a clean-out, unclog drains from the roof, re-did the plumbing for my bathroom remodel, replaced the garbage disposal -- etc. etc.. He told me from the start, if you call him, and he cant't do what you need (which has never happened) he would refer to someone who can. Now that's class.

I called because my air conditioner didn't seem to be working. This is the first heat wave of the year. He was able to squeeze me in within 30 minutes of the call since he was right up the street at the time. The problem turned out to be a tripped breaker. Or a breaker that was turned off. Very simple fix. He refused my offer for payment for his time and diagnostic saying he can't charge me for flipping a switch. This is the type of honest company you want to support!
