The towel that they used smelled spoiled and I was highly disappointed. Car wash patrons be ware!! If you have already been there you know this story. Soapy Jeff's cary wash business is using give me another $100 coaxing to put more on their car wash voucher cards EVERY time you go. This has got to stop. Spoapy Jeff's haa zero quality in their basic car wash. i gave up trying to get a $300 refund which has been denied so many times its awful, so much so i decided to give my already $300 loaded card to my housemate in case they wanted a "whore bath" sometime. Well they went yesterday for the first time (had already told them to tell them to tell the $100 guy get lost when yet again they asked for another $100 cash loaded to car so we would have enough for a full 325 detail. . i told her to just say i want a basic car wash. They wound up charging her for a worthless wash with brushes and not inside or outside wiping vacuuming or touch up after wash. Soapy Jeff charged her $60 for the basic wash. I will be more than happy to speak with anyone in the world about this if need be. This business needs to be investigated and closed for bad business practices immediately!. I held off on sending this to see how housemate was treated which was same as me on first 3 visits. The up charge they ask for every time you visit is the ONLY thing keeping this business open. They do not have a single employee who admits to speaking any form of English. They have to be hiring daily labor somewhere is all i can determine. i mean NO ONE can speak with or touch their Jeff. Did a horrible job on my Jeep. My husband had to return twice. This was my favorite car wash a couple years ago.

My Jeep got really dirty during vacation due to lots of rain, mud and bugs. I paid like $54.00 (their special). They told me it would take 45 minutes, which I was cool with. I got home and had to back up and noticed my backup camera was still very blurry. When I got out I noticed there was still so much dirt on my back gate, around my doors and all my sensors. They just did a very poor job on my Jeep. That much money plus the tip is way to much money for a mediocre job. read more

Soapy Jeff's is a terrible car wash and their "customer service" is pretty terrible as well. This car wash is located close to my work and they also have another location that is right next to my gym, so I decided to buy a $150 pre-paid card for washes from them. Yesterday, I drove car #1 to the Preston Rd. location to have it washed and purchase the card. Once I'd driven it through the wash tunnel and pulled-up to have it dried off I noticed that there were still a lot of bug splatters on the windshield. I pointed them out, and the attendant removed them. Once I got back, I noticed that the car still had dirt on the sides and just wasn't cleaned well. I figured it might just be a fluke and wanted to give them another chance, so I took a 2nd car up there to be washed. This time, after the "wash" was complete, I got out and walked around the car while I was still at the wash. Similar result as the other car - there was still dirt on it. At this point I spoke with the manager and said I wanted a refund on the pre-paid card I'd just bought. He tried to refund me, but his computer system wouldn't process it. He said I'd have to come back again the following day in order to get my refund. So a day passes and I go back to get my refund. The manager processes a refund, but only in the amount of $128. They insisted on charging me for the two basically useless car "washes" the day before. Charged for two washes that I had to literally re-do myself, AND I had to make a second trip back to day to get my partial refund. They claim that they're re-working their wash tunnel and that in a month or two it will be so much better. Yesterday, I told them I was willing to wait and give them another chance in a couple of months. But after this "slap in the face" partial refund they will never get another chance, and they earned themselves a one-star review on every platform I can think to review on. Epic customer service fail "Sloppy Jeff's"! (Oh - and while I was there I happened to notice the cellular antenna on the building directly overhead. Disappointed in service today. We've been using this location for a few years but our last few times going have been less and less impressive. Likely we won't be back. Today, my husband and I took in his truck. We waited nearly two hours while no less than 15 other cars / customers came and went. If it was crazy busy, we would understand but it wasn't they just put us off. When I noticed no one was working on our vehicle but five or six people were working on each of the two vehicles that had come in well after us, we went out to inquire. We were told another 20-30 minutes... wrong answer. We found the manager and he got four guys working on our truck. It was evident that nothing had been done on our vehicle as they had to vacuum, wipe down, do the seats, wipe the windows, clean the wheels, everything... Then when we left and stop at our next errand, we noticed that they didn't even clean one of the tires / wheels and they didn't clean any of the fenders. Considering we paid extra for the tire service and we patiently waited for two hours, then our patience ran out, it is just frustrating that the job was less than par. Customer service has really gone down at this location, not worth our time to go anymore. read more

40% price increase and dropped drying service. Now wash is just bad. Been coming here for years. Pulled up to learn the price changed to $7. Ok, that's fine. But then was told they no longer dry cars unless you pay $11 which equates to a 110% price increase from the previous $5 + dry service. We sucked it up and pulled up to the wash. There was no one there. After waiting about 10 minutes and viewing a line of 4 cars, I finally got out of the car and flagged someone down. He looked at me with anger like I was bothering him. He then yelled out to someone to come over. The wash itself is terrible. They put in dryers but it doesn't dry the windshield, mirror and the like leaving water spots all over. Must of changed owners. This was a wonderful car wash. Great service and good machinery. This is my 2nd time in 3 months to receive horrible serve (having to pull over and wait for a towel dry). Rip off. Liar! Boy do I feel stupid. I went to soapy jeff's on 07/04/2023 and told them I wanted a full detail which would have cost $350. The attendant said if I bought their $500 card they would throw in the detail for free. They did not detail my truck. The truck is absolutely filthy and now it stinks inside. When I looked at the receipt they charged me $550 and threw in an $18 car wash. The card says it is non-refundable and I even gave them a $60 tip because I'm still desperately trying to believe that people will do what they say they will do. Do not buy their "special offer". My daughter and I went to Soapy Jeff's this week. I recommended it because I've gone there in the past with good results. But this time I guess it's got new management, because they didn't offer to let my daughter know what services were available, how things work or anything. she chose the $18 car wash. For $18 they wiped down the outside of her car and cleaned her tires. That's it. They didn't even open the doors to wipe down the door frame or the trunk where water gets in. We won't be coming back. I really wanted to give five stars to this business because I think they genuinely try to do their best. My first visit, I was encouraged to get a prepaid card and to receive a free premium wash that day. I took them up on it because I figured I would go often and it would be a great service. The wash itself is great but the staff who are drying and vacuuming the car really should spend more time focusing on their job and less time chitchatting with each other. There is a lovely Hispanic older woman who is doing the drying of cars and while she is a lovely person she does a terrible job. I certainly don't want anyone to lose the job but people are paying for a service so it's helpful if they get good service. Try a little harder please. read more

Then the owner Jeff called me saying they were not going to pay to fix it and that cars break and its not their fault. My car was perfectly fine when i brought it in to be washed. He was such an a** kept repeating himself talking to me i guess he thought because im a woman he can tell me anything. But its not over you will pay and you've lost a valuable customer. I moved to Dallas three years ago, found this place and was impressed with how my car looked, I've been coming here since. I drive 32 miles (drive is worth it) to come here because customer service and quality of work is exceptional. They remember me and are always happy to see me. I drive out happy with my car looking good and if you ever have an issue they make sure to take care of you! They have a lounge with AC, TVs, and free coffee! Tried this place after seeing they claimed they are the "Best in Dallas" I usually have my Porsche hand washed and that's the service they offered when I pulled up. It was pricey at $40 (normally I pay $20 and my other place) but being my first time, they up-sold me on a wax package and gave a small discount. There were alot of high-end cars so I felt comfortable. I was very impressed with the service my car received and the attention to detail. They went over my car multiple times to make sure it was perfect. Not only that, I was back on the road quickly and my car looked awesome. They even cleaned behind the rims! The GM was personable and works right along side his employees. When talking to him before getting the wash, he really wanted to gain my business and show me why they were the best. He did. I bought a groupon for this place and boy oh boy am I happy I did so! I'm so used to washing my own vehicle but pregnancy and a workaholic of a husband has prevented us from washing SUVs in this 100 degree weather.... The groupon covered basically EVERYTHING (wash, wax, tires, windows, vacuum, air freshener) but shampooing your carpet for only $14. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. I went there on a Saturday morning around 830 and was out before 9. I'm sure it gets busier the later it gets. My Blue Bell (vehicle name) looks brand spanking new! I can tell that they put a lot of time into their work. Its been 3 days and she still looks great. I would pay full price (like $25 I believe) for this service but I'm kind of hoping the groupon is still going and not for first timers only by the time I need another wash! read more

This place has changed so much. Prices are crazy...$25 for a basic inside/outside wash...it goes up to $55! It used to be such a great place with friendly people and great service. The team cleaning the cars is working hard to do a great job, but the management is so rude and has absolutely no idea was customer service is. Well, when "Jeff" took this location over, he was greeting every car he could. Getting people through quickly, ensuring that the lanes were flowing in order, and that the end result was what we were used to when it was "Cool Water". NOW!!!! NOPE! Last 3 visits: stood in 100* heat, waiting for the chaos in the lanes to clear up and for the one employee to spend 15 minutes with each transaction- trying to sell loadable money cards, didnt get ANY of my interior wiped down, next visit, same thing, complained, got my money back and today SAME THING! It's almost worth driving to garland to "HELLO" car wash, where my husband goes, cuz his truck is ALWAYS beautiful! When I started coming here in the spring, I had nothing but praise for them. But it has gone down. I noticed mid summer that the wash area in tunnel has gotten smaller. They added washing machine for the rags and made the actual car wash area smaller. Also when I started coming here I never saw a streak on my windshield. Now I have to wipe my windows after they clean them. The attitude of the staff has gone down too. I think it's time to try out a new car wash. read more

I am thrilled with this place! I am a very finicky person when it comes to paying someone to clean my car. I am usually the one who has to go over and dry, wipe or even vacuum what folks miss. I've been coming to Soapy Jeff's Car Wash for over 5 yrs. I'm always pleased with their work on my car. I've had other services as well other then just wash. If there's ever any issues it's ALWAYS resolved quickly. The staff is nice & friendly and the facility very clean with several mounted TV's to watch while you wait. One of the Managers that ALWAYS goes out of his way to help is Cecilio. He makes sure my car is just how I like it...on point (I'm picky). lol I would definitely recommend this place. I moved to Richardson and still make the drive all the way to Preston & Frankford for a car wash/detail. Good car wash places are hard to find! read more
