Not a good experience, not the best, priced me way too high and did a mediocre job. There were still crumbs on the seat and dog hair in the back of the trunk. It took 45 minutes in total and I thought we were paying for 2-3 hours. The inside felt like a half ass job when I told him it looked like a $275 job he followed me around and said pick an area so he can clean more but the more he cleaned the more I was like ?? Why didn't you do better the first time and he said I'm only human and I understand that but don't say it's complete and he's finished when it's not clean. The price he gave me was $375. I'm glad to support a local business but that wasn't the experience or the value that I was expecting. TLDR; I'm sorry to say this but pick a different car detailer. Chris the owner charged me $475 when he got done with my vehicle. There was dirt under his wax job and the carpets had not even been vacuumed. I expected the carpets to have been shampooed. He seemed like a nice enough guy but his work was what you would expect for $120 detail or less. Not worth remotely close to what he charges. I will preface this post with the fact that my car was in bad shape when Chris came by, camping, dog hair, dirt and dog puke. Overall, the clean was good - but not worth the price of $375. Let me say that again- $375. There is still some stick stuff on my console, dirt on the inside door, dirt stuck between the cup holders/stick shift, and dog hair still on the back of the strata. The floor mats were cleaned spectacularly, I don't understand why the trunk of the car was not tended to like the floor mats. If I'm going to pay $375 for a car detail, then I expect it to come out perfect. Spotless, shiny and brand spanking new. But with the remaining dog hair on the back, details missed, I feel like payed too much. Also too add, I called him on a Monday, he said he could come by on that Tuesday - and he never called me. I called another service whom couldn't perform and sent me to Chris, which is when I called him AGAIN and he pushed me out a week. He never told me what time he was coming by, called me 30 minutes before, as if ai didn't have a schedule of my own. I wasn't going to leave a review because Chris is very nice, but the service was less than stellar. I didn't want someone to get price gouged liked me. If this would have cost me $300 or $275, this would be a 5 star review. For what I got, the price is outrageous. Maybe if I was one of his high end clients, he would have given me a better service? Apparently he cleans the cars of Dalls elites, and I probably just didnt fit that bill. read more

Confusing Communication I needed the interior of my car cleaned, so on Friday I went to the company's website to check packages and pricing. One of the first things you see on the site is a "Get a Quote" entry form, so I filled it out. However, the mobile site is glitchy and does not give you any sort of confirmation that the form sent. I called in to make sure my form went through, and Chris said that he couldn't check the form at that moment, but that if I didn't hear back I could call the next day. Later that evening, I received an email (attached) with no subject line, no context, and nothing to indicate this was from Helping Hands Mobile Detail, saying that he couldn't give a quote until he saw my car. I called again to see if I could get a ballpark quote, and he said to text him images of my car. The next day, I randomly got another email saying to call (second attachment). I disregarded this since we had already spoken and he told me to text him. After texting him photos of what I wanted cleaned, he said that he would have to test the fabric before he could give a quote. (At this point, I'm seriously wondering what is the point of the "Get a Quote" form on the website??) I told him that I would be available the next day (Sunday) and he said that should work and that he would text me the following morning. It's Sunday night and he did not make any contact at all today. I got my car cleaned elsewhere. Very curious how this guy has 90 something five-star reviews. read more

5 Star Service! Our car is 6 years old and looking quite tired. We had two stains on the seat that has been there for over a year. Somehow Chris and his partner were able to get both stains out and polished the dashboard and steering wheel to its original luster. The owner replied quickly with a quote but when it came time to set up a time he kept telling me he would call me later when we was available. I would check in and see if he would have time for the wash that day, because if not I would reschedule or go to another business. He kept saying that he would check in and that he would let me know by 4pm. When I messaged him at 4pm he then tells me he has 6 more cars ahead of him, he is in Plano, and that he won't be able to give me an appointment today. I asked if he had time the next day. He says that it will rain tomorrow and that he won't start again until Friday. I ask him if then we can set up an appointment for Friday with a guaranteed time. He says he won't have time because he will be in Highland Park. So I am giving him 1 star for 2 reasons. 1: He was playing with my time. If he at 10-11am in the morning that by 4pm he had 6 more cars cars to wash. I imagine he could have told me anywhere between 11am-4pm that he wouldn't have the time to wash my car that day. Then preventing me from going to another company. My car had interior water damage so I need this done sooner than later. 2: I am located in East Dallas. If he was in Plano during the day he was unable to come to my car because he had too many cars to wash. How is it when he is in Highland Park (which is closer to East Dallas than Plano) that he is not able to still set up an appointment. At least he didn't waste my time over the next 4 days. I am sure that they do great service but sadly with me my time was wasted. read more
