You pay $10 to get in and can hang out as long as you like. I believe it's around 800 vendors. Home good, cameras, clothes, plants, paintings and so much more.... worth the trip at least once. Oh and bring an umbrella, big brimming hat and plenty of sunscreen.

Entry: $10 per person Here are my first time impressions: Size: 5/5 a large, maze-like exhibit. Multiple vendors said it's usually across the street (under construction) with even more vendors. The fence gate obstructs at least half of the market from view from the entry area. Food/Drink: 2/5 there was 3 food trucks and 1 table. Mexican food, plain coffee, sodas. Burgers/American. Acai bowls, juices. Table sold beers. I was expecting more. I'm wondering if this is considered typical, as it seems more respectful for more serious sellers or buyers? To combat my dehydration and sleepiness, I went for a plain coffee and a Diet Coke. I don't recommend eating here go find a better restaurant in long beach and eat before/ after! Bathrooms: They installed portable AC! The toilets next to the food trucks were clean and cooling inside. The Shopping: 4/5 Flea markets will continue to be a unique experience for me because it's visually overwhelming to mentally process and sort through everything you're seeing! They have artwork, jewelry, an overwhelming amount of trinkets, clothing (mostly vintage and band fashion), electronics (one store was entirely cameras), decor, handbags, kitchenware, comic book items, and more. The clothing, handbags, and other wearable items can be used, new, or handmade by the vendor. I think it caters to the whole family though it's more like demographics are mid age women, then women, then children, then men (from my untrained eye). It's a confusing place if you don't already have a strong grasp of your personal style and preferences. You'll likely spend a lot of time just trying to understand what everything is. I looked at alot of clothes but nothing spoke to me. It sounds obvious but you should bring a hat and/ or sunglasses, and your water bottle. I didn't do either... Creatiothey have water ballon toss to help cool down and hula dancers performance. This is an outdoor event make sure to bring water and something to shade your self from the beaming sun. Pets and kids friendly, maybe leave your furry friends at home . I can only assume the pavements were scorching hot for their paws . Food vendors such as Mexican mixed fruit drinks and wetzel pretzels food truck . Many of the vendors sell used clothing and vintage items such as collectibles and clothing. Jewelry vendors , sports goods and hand made items. Home made pet snacks vendors were the best , I was able to grab a few items for my fur baby . My kids found some used clothing items , I thought the price was steep for my pocket book. My girls say it's vintage mom lol!! I wouldn't spend that much for used or vintage clothing ( a stained used sweater for $30 lol)

We were hungry when we arrived, and we went with a very interesting fusion of Indian-Mexican tacos called Spice Bites Food. I had the potato tacos and my friend got the spicy jack fruit ones. I absolutely loved mine! There was a very mild seasoning added to the mashed potatoes in the taco, then sauced and sprinkled with cheese. They're fried tacos, filling, and only $7 for two! We then bought some juices from Dlit Juice, which was just 2 tents down. It was all delicious! Most of the packaged food businesses do offer samples...like the honey, juice, and spicy jam, but the booze cake pops did not...lol. One of the candle ladies was even passing out free tea candles to all who passed. I will be keeping an eye out for next months event. I'm interested in trying one of the other food venders, but I also really wanna try more from the Indian-Mexican fusion company.

Ventilation is much better here compared to the warehouse from before, and they've taken care to add some fun murals throughout the store. It's possible they put the popcorn machine away for the event, but I'm hopeful the next time it'll be back by the entrance; it's a staple! My main critique with the former space was that much of the costume jewelry and trinkets were behind glass. Part of the fun of antiquing for me is being able to touch, feel, and engage with historical pieces - it seems like the new setting has solved for this. I found a fantastic tapestry finger purse from JR Miami 1950s-1960s for $20 (one of the ladies who works there told me she nearly bought it that morning) and a sweet $3 footed teacup I'll upcycle for my plant collection, I recognized some of the booths, so I'm glad they were able to move with LB Antiques. If your dog is well-behaved, they are also super dog-friendly here and your pooch will have a field day sniffing all the textiles and curios. My only remaining gripe - and it was a gripe when the space was still Joann's - is the parking can be gnarly getting into! as someone who is still mourning the loss of joanns fabric, but also loves antique stores, when i…read morewas driving past and saw a new store opened in place of my beloved fabric store i knew i had to go in and see what had become of her. i will say they definitely have a bit of everything and have really filled every inch of the space, i barely scratched the surface on my visit. i was also impressed with there collection of uranium products as i've never seen it in person before. this is about where the good part of the review ends for me. while i would say the sheer volume of definitely was a bit overwhelming and the actual product seemed like it caters to the neighborhood/ lakewood which is fitting, but also i might be scared i would find some questionable things while searching too deep in this store, but at the very least i would say i am not the target audience. additionally everything i picked up seemed to be pretty overpriced compared to other antique places in the area. as far as the actual experience goes, i would say subpar at best. when we walked in we made eye contact with the ladies working the front and said hello, but they just ignored us and looked away. a while later we were looking at an area near the front of the store and a worker was grabbing something from a door nearby and looked visibly annoyed like we were in her way but didn't say anything so it was just an unpleasant interaction. with all this considered, we decided to just leave and not get anything so i can't speak on what the checkout experience is like. overall i'm glad that i stopped in to see what's become of the place, but i can't say that ill be coming back. rest in paradise joaan's i miss you every day

The rest of the swap meet was Bath and body items which was very well organized and they had a massive amounts and quite a bit of children's items and clothes some clothes not the best quality but just really good selection and kids grow out of things so fast they had some like little boutique booths, which the quality didn't seem great, but the prices were higher than I definitely expected, but the rest of the Swapmeet was like a big chunk sale plastic bags on the ground or on tables with just piles of stuff thrown all over them or random tchotchkes thrown on the ground and you had to pick through everything. It is big but unfortunately it was definitely not vintage days. We went on the day that they was designated for vintage days specifically because we weren't really looking for just junk or stuff . We won't be back anytime soon . We got an ice cream cone and one scoop was like eight dollars. They do have some fruit and vegetables, but they were pretty ripe and some of the items canned goods look like things they got left over from maybe a food bank or items they took from a food bank that they didn't use just a lot of stuff that seemed like it had been collected from free stuff left over from a yard sale or I don't even know it was not what I expected. It was my first time I've been wanting to go for years. My sister-in-law hadn't been since she was younger, and my husband hadn't been since he was younger. He said he remembered his mom taking him all the time.

Very Big Swap Meet but Lots of Fakes and Resellers!!…read more There's tons of vendors selling different things, and you may see multiple vendors selling the same things such as household items, children's toys, hardware items, and plants. Lots of vendors sell clothing at different prices, but I did see one vendor sell clothes for $1 each. There's plenty of vendors selling fake water bottles such as Stanley cups and Hydroflasks. I found two vendors selling Sonny Angels from Aliexpress, very obvious fakes, and I would never buy Sonny Angels from Swap Meets. However, if they're your thing, there's tons of them. There are also reseller vendors selling items they've found from TJ Maxx, Marshall's, Ross, Five Below, etc. There's a lot of food vendors. They essentially sell the same things like Italian Ice, Churros, Agua Frescas, and Mangoneadas. However, there are some vendors that sell Elotes, Tacos, Pupusas, etc. They're just a bit harder to find. I got two Churros for $8, a Vanilla Raspado with Condensed Milk for $5, and Hot Cheetos with Cheese for $5. It was a bit steep for a swap meet, but I understand these vendors are just trying to make ends meet. Vendors are nice a majority of the time. They mostly seem pretty tired from the blasting heat. Some vendors will offer you a better price on an item you want if you walk away, and some vendors let you haggle the prices. The Swap Meet is pretty big so you will find something for you. Parking is free, but it can be a bit hectic. Vendors seem to close down their booths 2:30pm-3:00pm. If you're planning on making multiple purchases, you're better off bringing a wagon, cart, bags, or multiple people.

Even the clothes you could tell was used was too expensive. This was my first time here and I was disappointed at the repetitive selections from vendors. It even has an outdoor area that could have been a backyard. When I first walked in, it felt like I was stepping back into the '70's. A lot of brown and orange hues. Once you pass the front counter on your left, you feel like you're stepping into someone's living room. There's a couch, coffee table, dial television set, and the record player is blasting '70's music from their collection of vinyl. The first room on the left sells clothes, plants, etc. The second small room next to it has a large picture of KISS plastered on the walls, between the selection of boots and jackets. If you keep walking towards the back, there's a room to your right where the record player is. After exiting that room, you walk into the main room and a large selection of vinyl for sale near the back. They sell used and new merchandise. Everything from used clothes to new jewelry, paintings, artwork, and everything in between. Like I said, there's a large outdoor patio where they sell patio furniture, pots, plants and other outdoor decoration. There is really a lot to take in, and everything is affordable. I saw something I liked that cost $9.50, but I asked myself where I was going to put it. The gal at the front counter was friendly. They take Apple Pay. Located on Orange Avenue, in the Eastern section of Long Beach California, this business is a little bit off of the beaten path. It's actually a truly unique neighborhood. Though it's basically a residential area, there's a number of unique businesses right around Goods on Orange. Once inside, you are overwhelmed with a plethora of all kinds of everything. It's truly a visual experience to walk into this business. They have a lot of great everything.
