Some vendors were friendly but many felt like professional hustlers. Selection wise, I was disappointed. I expected more Antique Roadshow but experienced more of a swap meet vibe. Lastly, when it comes to value, I was surprised how expensive items were and I was shocked that you had to pay 10 bucks to just get in. However, I did appreciate that parking was free even though extremely crowded and annoying to deal with. My first visit will be my last.

Creatiothey have water ballon toss to help cool down and hula dancers performance. This is an outdoor event make sure to bring water and something to shade your self from the beaming sun. Pets and kids friendly, maybe leave your furry friends at home . I can only assume the pavements were scorching hot for their paws . Food vendors such as Mexican mixed fruit drinks and wetzel pretzels food truck . Many of the vendors sell used clothing and vintage items such as collectibles and clothing. Jewelry vendors , sports goods and hand made items. Home made pet snacks vendors were the best , I was able to grab a few items for my fur baby . My kids found some used clothing items , I thought the price was steep for my pocket book. My girls say it's vintage mom lol!! I wouldn't spend that much for used or vintage clothing ( a stained used sweater for $30 lol)

We were hungry when we arrived, and we went with a very interesting fusion of Indian-Mexican tacos called Spice Bites Food. I had the potato tacos and my friend got the spicy jack fruit ones. I absolutely loved mine! There was a very mild seasoning added to the mashed potatoes in the taco, then sauced and sprinkled with cheese. They're fried tacos, filling, and only $7 for two! We then bought some juices from Dlit Juice, which was just 2 tents down. It was all delicious! Most of the packaged food businesses do offer samples...like the honey, juice, and spicy jam, but the booze cake pops did not...lol. One of the candle ladies was even passing out free tea candles to all who passed. I will be keeping an eye out for next months event. I'm interested in trying one of the other food venders, but I also really wanna try more from the Indian-Mexican fusion company.

Ventilation is much better here compared to the warehouse from before, and they've taken care to add some fun murals throughout the store. It's possible they put the popcorn machine away for the event, but I'm hopeful the next time it'll be back by the entrance; it's a staple! My main critique with the former space was that much of the costume jewelry and trinkets were behind glass. Part of the fun of antiquing for me is being able to touch, feel, and engage with historical pieces - it seems like the new setting has solved for this. I found a fantastic tapestry finger purse from JR Miami 1950s-1960s for $20 (one of the ladies who works there told me she nearly bought it that morning) and a sweet $3 footed teacup I'll upcycle for my plant collection, I recognized some of the booths, so I'm glad they were able to move with LB Antiques. If your dog is well-behaved, they are also super dog-friendly here and your pooch will have a field day sniffing all the textiles and curios. My only remaining gripe - and it was a gripe when the space was still Joann's - is the parking can be gnarly getting into! I remember, vaguely in detail, but clearly in broadness, that I saw an episode of Reading Rainbow…read more In this episode the main character goes to a swap meet and is inspired by a book to view a trip to the swap meet as an opportunity to discover treasure. I did not go with a child's optimism to the Roadium, but I did hope to find oddities to engage my mind, trinkets to admire and imagine about, and in general find something that would be right for me at a bargain price. And the Roadium on a Sunday, provided me the opportunity to find all the previously mentioned items and things, plus it also help me get steps in, in a slow pace, while I absorbed the sun's Vitamin D. I am surprised to say this, like super surprised, but the item that most caught- really arrested- my attention was a picture that centered the country's current sitting president: Trump. In the picture, Trump has his head down, eyes closed, hands and fingers interlocked, and he seems to have a face of meditation, maybe receiving peace and/or knowledge. And behind stand a variety of historical and political powerhouses of the past, like Nixon, Reagan, Washington, Lincoln, and others that I could not recognize to name with confidence. However, all had their eyes closed, and had an aura of tranquility that also carried palpable notes of worry. What struck me the most is that the group, in tense serenity, included men and women of color. It is important to note that I clipped the picture, to give the reader or viewer the opportunity to collect their own thoughts and land their own interpretation. That got heavy. I also clipped a picture of quinceneras. One was dressed in Cinderella blue with a carriage, horse, and carriage handers were in the background, I thought it was A.I. generated but perhaps some people do have quinces like that, in fact I know they do, I used to wacth my Super Sweet Sixteen on MTV. Getting inside the Roadium is hard on a Sunday. But apparently worst on others day because the Roadium has different vendors on different days and each attracts a different type of crowd. For instance, on the firstMonday of the month vendors from the Rose Bowl Flea Market come. Please know that I am recycling information that was provided to me by one of the vendors. Research, please to verify accuracy. However, she also explained that on Mondays, when the Vintage Vendors come, parking becomes nearly imposible to find, even on the street. On this day, it cost 5 dollars, the cashiers only accept cash, The place has trinkets, food, and finds, seriously, it is a cool walk to see, touch, and get lost, if that is something one can do- shop vendors with nothing you want to buy, but still find meaning in the seeing and touching. I had peanuts on this day, but they were special because they were freshly toasted. Like I got a few to try (both extra toasted and not so toasted) and they were still warmed from the machine that toasted them. The touch of a warm shell was enough for me to be impressed but the freshness was key. This vendor explains that sometimes the peanuts in the store are 10 days old, after they were first roasted. Again do research. I saw micro Mexican candy stores with some of the candy that really communicates non-tourist streets of Oaxaca. I also bought three shirts. One was 8, two other ones were three dollars, and I feel like they were honest finds. I took a video of a barbie like doll, not barbie, using a Segway, which I thought was a wink to the modern that made sense yet never seen. I also saw a Spiderman Halloween shirt. And I thought how weird. It was him siting Spidey like, and he was pumpkin orange with bats behind him. It was juvenile because it was Disney product from theri Halloween bash time. So this place does have what was one precious yet never bought. I can see how someone might get something today to use at another day, or simply, be creative and DIY stuff from the stuff they found here.

I used to also sell here when I was younger and helped my mom with her clothing business and that was always a good time. It is very professional and very organized at this swap meet. They keep it well up and clean and very structured throughout the parking. On the weekend Saturday and Sunday is five dollars and during the week is cheaper so I recommend coming during a week if you can. I always come here to get some of my jeans. They have the most cutest, unique jeans that I ever saw. They also have all the stuff you need from plates, Clorox wipes, Lysol, and so much more. The deals here are very good. They also sell a lot of roasted peanuts that's freshly made and they have a lot of good food stands as well. The only thing is that the parking can be a little crazy, but other than that, this is a really good outdoor spot meet and I love to come here to grab some cute things for reasonable deals. Very Big Swap Meet but Lots of Fakes and Resellers!!…read more There's tons of vendors selling different things, and you may see multiple vendors selling the same things such as household items, children's toys, hardware items, and plants. Lots of vendors sell clothing at different prices, but I did see one vendor sell clothes for $1 each. There's plenty of vendors selling fake water bottles such as Stanley cups and Hydroflasks. I found two vendors selling Sonny Angels from Aliexpress, very obvious fakes, and I would never buy Sonny Angels from Swap Meets. However, if they're your thing, there's tons of them. There are also reseller vendors selling items they've found from TJ Maxx, Marshall's, Ross, Five Below, etc. There's a lot of food vendors. They essentially sell the same things like Italian Ice, Churros, Agua Frescas, and Mangoneadas. However, there are some vendors that sell Elotes, Tacos, Pupusas, etc. They're just a bit harder to find. I got two Churros for $8, a Vanilla Raspado with Condensed Milk for $5, and Hot Cheetos with Cheese for $5. It was a bit steep for a swap meet, but I understand these vendors are just trying to make ends meet. Vendors are nice a majority of the time. They mostly seem pretty tired from the blasting heat. Some vendors will offer you a better price on an item you want if you walk away, and some vendors let you haggle the prices. The Swap Meet is pretty big so you will find something for you. Parking is free, but it can be a bit hectic. Vendors seem to close down their booths 2:30pm-3:00pm. If you're planning on making multiple purchases, you're better off bringing a wagon, cart, bags, or multiple people.
