Very Big Swap Meet but Lots of Fakes and Resellers!! There's tons of vendors selling different things, and you may see multiple vendors selling the same things such as household items, children's toys, hardware items, and plants. Lots of vendors sell clothing at different prices, but I did see one vendor sell clothes for $1 each. There's plenty of vendors selling fake water bottles such as Stanley cups and Hydroflasks. I found two vendors selling Sonny Angels from Aliexpress, very obvious fakes, and I would never buy Sonny Angels from Swap Meets. However, if they're your thing, there's tons of them. There are also reseller vendors selling items they've found from TJ Maxx, Marshall's, Ross, Five Below, etc. There's a lot of food vendors. They essentially sell the same things like Italian Ice, Churros, Agua Frescas, and Mangoneadas. However, there are some vendors that sell Elotes, Tacos, Pupusas, etc. They're just a bit harder to find. I got two Churros for $8, a Vanilla Raspado with Condensed Milk for $5, and Hot Cheetos with Cheese for $5. It was a bit steep for a swap meet, but I understand these vendors are just trying to make ends meet. Vendors are nice a majority of the time. They mostly seem pretty tired from the blasting heat. Some vendors will offer you a better price on an item you want if you walk away, and some vendors let you haggle the prices. The Swap Meet is pretty big so you will find something for you. Parking is free, but it can be a bit hectic. Vendors seem to close down their booths 2:30pm-3:00pm. If you're planning on making multiple purchases, you're better off bringing a wagon, cart, bags, or multiple people. read more

Size wise, I can see why people like this swap meet. It's very big, lots of vendors including food and drinks. It is free to park and walk in as well. Parking can be a hassle because the college grounds while big, it's very busy and the lots fill up quickly. Why only 2 stars? Too many vendors selling the same things over and over again. Not a whole lot of unique selections or variety to choose from. A ton of clothes that honestly wasn't priced at swap meet prices, they were priced slightly below retail if that. Even the clothes you could tell was used was too expensive. This was my first time here and I was disappointed at the repetitive selections from vendors. We came here on a whim one day but had a good time. The parking is free and its also free entry so that's always a plus. There are lots of vendors selling new and used items. Some vendors had products that looked like came from a clearance sale from stores like Tilly's and pac sun. Some pretty cool stuff honestly. It's also pretty big. Swap meets are just it. Lots of vendors getting up really early to set up, shoppers strolling along, everyone surviving the heat together. The last swap meet I went to pre-COVID was the one in Santa Fe Springs, and it wasn't impressive. This one at Cypress College was not only impressive, it was so overwhelming! It's not just the first huge parking lot that they take over. There are two other sections in the back! [I think the other vendors in the back mostly sell used things like bike parts and tools.] There is no admission fee to get in, which I love! What's the point of paying for admission to buy discounted products!? (I'm looking at you, Pasadena!) There is parking in the college, but you might be better off parking at Big Lots. Don't park at Goodwill; they will supposedly tow your car if their security guard sees you. If it is your first time, know that a lot of vendors sell the same thing, so you don't have to buy everything immediately when you see it. I made the mistake of paying $1 more at a vendor closer to the entrance. Bring a hat or wear sunscreen. Bring water. There is very limited shade. A lot of vendors have tables with stuff priced at $1, but you have to dig around to see what those items are. I still don't know what they sell. I'd rather enjoy the ones where they have items set up so you can see what you are buying. Some items to expect here: clothes for all ages, shoes for all ages, toys/games/dolls, kitchenware, tools, phone cases, electronics/gadgets, watch repair, reflective outerwear, jewelry, athletic equipment/weights, household appliances, face masks for all ages, drugstore products and makeup, drugstore brand drugs (some were expired...), fresh produce, and flowers/plants! What I did not find was fishing gear. And after a few hours of walking in the sun and heat, I really wanted something to drink. I wish they spaced out food vendors around. [Hours]: Every Saturday and Sunday from 6 AM to 4 PM, but 20% of vendors typically begin to pack at 1:30 PM. [Parking]: Parking is free and you can pretty much park at any lots you see within Cypress College, but please note that swap meet is located near the intersection of Valley View St / Lakeshore Dr. I parked on Orange Ave side & had to walk additional 10 minutes & with no clear direction on how to get to the swap meet. [Amenities & vendors]: Free entry. Surprisingly I saw multiple fruit/vegetable booths (about 5%) as well as snack and slushy, aqua fresca, tacos, michelada, etc. In addition to food, you will also find miscellaneous vendors selling cosmetic, bikes, refrigerators, beds, gym equipment, brand new PS5 & console games, crystals, toys, hot wheels, anime figures, Pokémon modern sealed packs, guitar, Funko Pop. AstroTurf, etc. I took me approximately 90 minutes to zig-zag my ways and see 95% of vendors. Yes some vendors are repetitive, but overall Cypress Swap Meet is much bigger & better than some of those pay-to-enter swap meets. Great neighborhood swap meet at the junior college. You can find both new and used stuff. There's a couple of good food vendors, but mainly Mexican food and it gets crowded quick so be prepared to park far and walk through the entire campus to get to the swap meet area. it's cool that there's no admission. read more

I couldn't believe that is biggest swap meet in southern California. I was just passing by on our way to Little Saigon and we saw this humongous swap meet. It was so big we didn't finish walking thru the eisles. But it was well worth the visit. Just spent the day at the swap meet. Had a great time. This event was fun. All kinds of stuff. I found a place that starting at 2:00 fill a bag for $1. That was fun. Bring a wagon if you are planning on buying stuff you do not need. To get ready for your next garage sale. Food was good. The one good I did not find was kettle corn. Or movie popcorn. There are good Hispanic food. And if you ask them they can make it gringo style. Not spicy. Understand five stars is very hard to get from me. It has to be much more then I expected. Which might explain the bloody baby clothes on sale. It's ranked #4 for Things to Do in Cypress from a popular website that advises people on trips. This was actually my first job back in 1985 or so, so I'm glad it's still around after all these decades. I wandered the shadeless aisles selling cans of soda out of a wagon for a guy with a food truck. I used that $40 to buy my first (used) album there: Endless Summer. Well have to say I met the nicest man while walking the swap meet on Sunday morning. I can across Ron, a turf guy that made it easy to chat too. he shared he has been there for over 30years!! I was impressed by his knowledge of turf and got further inside of few other vendors that were next to him. He did share he started that business with his father, and now he and his wife ONLY come on Sundays. I have posted his contact information and few pics for your review. I got there at 6am, and the parking was already getting busy! They offer fruits, clothes, variety of house plants, and any many vendors selling a variety of items. Pretty large venue to walk and browse. I recommend coming here and checking out the vendors. Areive early for parking. The college must get a good turn out as I left, each bldge has it's own parking lot, so make sure you remember which bldg you parked by. read more

6/13/21 - Hubby and I arrived around 9am and parking was tough. It really was pretty crazy despite it being at a community college. You have to get there before dawn or shortly before they close to get decent parking. This swapmeet is not as impressive as the pictures posted. Don't get me wrong. It is massive and there are "many" vendors. The majority of the stands are repetitive. Like only a few vendors with multiple locations throughout the lot. Hubby and I passed up a good portion of stands to find more unique ones. A lot of walking for not a lot of diversity. My goal was to checkout plants, pots and maybe find some Star Wars stuff. All the plants were overly expensive and not in the best conditions. This place was blah. Not worth the drive. read more

This is used to be a good place for treasure hunting but not anymore. After walking a few isles you probably would see the same stuff (mostly junks and merchandise from Mexico) over and over. In this day and age you would get better stuff and better prices from Amazon or EBay. FYI: head in parking only unless you want a $37 ticket. We went there around noon by around 240pm vendors started packing up and we only finished visiting 1/3 of the swap meet My cell battery was almost dead so i ended up getting a power bank. As i am glad i did. Power bank was very reasonably priced for i needed a more powerful fast charging gadget. I got a box if N95 mask which i did not see at the last swap meet u visited. One of the vendor was selling Korean Brand Shampoo & Conditioner. So i ended up getting a bottle of shampoo. There are quite a few plants vendors. My friend got herself a few Christmas Cactus of diff colors . As for me a plant lover! I found myself with 7 more plants collection to my tiny place. read more

This is where I go to when I want to make my steps count. Its probably one of the biggest swapmeets ive been to in OC. I can spend 3-4 hours easily just browsing around. If you dont mind scrimmaging through random things, you can find alot of unique things. It's like a one stop shop for some people. You can pick up some flowers while you wait for your car to get tinted or get some fruits and veggies; this place has it all. More like 3.5 stars. Reason why is the parking here is horrendous. And it's a long walk to the flea market. But I wonder why people like flea markets so much? I have never gotten a deal. I pay the same amount of money if I were to go to Walmart. They do however have some items you will never find anywhere, like jersey knock offs, disposal paper plates by the boxful, you can still order these online but it takes 5 business days to get to you, here it's right away so get these last, or you'll walk around with it like an idiot. Again, you pay the same amount as the price online. Then is it the haggling? I don't think so, my girl tried to haggle & the owner of the rented parking spot grabbed the clothes out of her hand and said, shoo! I don't need your business. She walked away embarrassed. So what the hell makes a flea market so busy?? I don't know but they come here in droves. Maybe it's outside in fresh air. I grew up going to swap meets as a child with my mom so it was very nostalgic for me to walk around here. You've got everything under the sun here: clothing, electronics, farmer's market style produce, home goods, and food vendors. My favorite is walking around with a bag of the Mexican Doritos (i don't know if they're actually called this) wheel chips dosed in tapatío/limon. I usually bring my dog and see others do the same. I have mine in a stroller since she's scared of people. Highly recommend for a Saturday or Sunday morning walk/shop. There's easy parking towards the back of the college. Come early around 9:00am so it's cooler and for the best deals. read more

What can I say about this place? I don't want to run someone that has never been here away. But if you have been here you know what I'm talking about. Some swap meets are 100 o/o new items this one is about 90 o/o used but if you know that ahead of time and embrace it you will be fine . This is a super large swap meet there's two parking it's and it involves a lot of walking. Not that many food vendors until the back right. There's a mix of new stuff and used stuff but it's a good find for flowers and new household items (Amazon/target shipment finds) I would stay away from the fruit I've had a couple bad experiences with it rotting quickly for the price it's not the best quality. Plenty of parking but you will have to do some walking again the college is currently being remodeled but it's still open yay read more

I used to be a vendor here many years back when lot 6 was around. Now it's a library I believe? While I was a vendor(2004), I always wanted to walk around and browse a little but I couldn't neglect my space. So, I decided recently I wanted to come shopping here, the weather was predicted to be nice and my family and I planned a fun day. My review is based on The Swap meet itself, not the vendors because if I could, I would give them each 10 stars cause I know the hassle involved in setting up your space. Waking up at 4 am to get ready for the day, setting up by 530 am and dealing with haggling non stop on items that are already priced to sell. I believe someone tried haggling a dollar item from me for 50 cents, sitting in the heat for hours at a time and having to wait till 2 pm to use the bathroom(if youre working alone)and finally having to watch for sticky fingers. If I still had a van and a sellers permit, I would still be out here making extra cash. So anyhow, kudos to all the vendors here. Now to the swap meet: Parking is insane, it always has been.. Admission is free Swap meet seems to be well maintained and the office is located inside the swap meet. There are great vendors selling new and old stuff that is priced pretty good. For girls, lots of nice jewelry, makeup and clothes, some at a dollar and it's new items. Lots of books, dvs and household items. Lots of car cell phone chargers and electronics. I smelled fresh fruit and had to follow the scent..I found fresh guavas that were pretty delicious. Great food trucks that serve breakfast, I saw chilaquiles on the menu...yum It gets pretty busy but there's something for everyone. One thing that helped earn 5 stars is that there is no loud music blaring, I have gone to other swap meets and the music is so loud you feel like you're at a club so I appreciate that. But this ONE particular vendor is one of the nastiest and most unpleasant vendor I have ever had the displeasure of coming across. I've bought from her stand in the past and honestly she is so rude and nasty to ALL her customers. I totally get it, she does this for a living and it must get redundant after a while having to answer the same questions over and over. But at the end of the day, people are choosing to support YOUR stand. And mind you all her products are repeats from other vendors! If you walk up to her, she has a really snarky attitude and hardly wants to answer you. Or she will make comments to her helpers in front of her customers like, "Joe! If someone tries to offer you less because they state the price is the same at the store, tell them to go buy it at the store then! They're not about to come up into my stand and tell me shit!" MAAAAAAM?! Mind you flea markets are places where you haggle prices!!! Honestly not worth stopping by her stand (she's accused others of stealing from her when they simply misplace a product, again I've came to this swapmeet for YEARS and have witnessed so much from her and one other vendor there) there are so many other polite and hard working vendors here who truly deserve our hard earned money. My first time at this swap meet...surprisingly since it's been around for decades and it's the biggest in OC. The tents & venders are stationed in the small parking lot at the end of college, so you park in the big parking lot and walk partly through the campus. Free to enter, and open Saturday & Sunday, but they don't allow dogs unless certified service dogs. Oh and bring cash. 99.9% of the venders only take cash. You will find everything here from used goodwill & garage sale type stuff, toys, clothes, hats, tools, kitchen appliances, and produce, to new & sealed DVD's, Blu-rays, and even VHS tapes! Lots of Amazon returns, POPS, and new Jordans, Nikes, and Adidas shoes. So many things are only $1. And some venders sell the exact same items, so check prices first. I found a second seller with a new Massage Gun for only $25! I had to get it! We also got some aguas Frescas drinks. There's tons of good food tents too. This guy is incompetent. He sells phone cases and I was looking for one to gift to someone else so I was going back and forth with someone through text to make sure it's the correct one for their phone... this guy here tells me his cases he's selling are original, which they're not they're fake non brand but I didn't care, still was going to buy it, UNTIL he became aggressive and impatient and said rude things and snatched the phone case from my hand and told me he wasn't going to sell it. Do not buy from this guy, he's rude and apparently you need to shop quick or else you're wasting his time, watch out on this guy snatching things off your hand and saying rude things for no reason.
