I am kind of surprised that Yelp did not change this page and list this as a new business because they have moved to a new location and this new location is vastly different from where they were previously established. I find it very difficult to even compare this business with its previous location, as they are such vastly different establishments. The previous location, house just off of PCH in Long Beach, was this vast warehouse style structure with an outdoor area that also had tons and tons of stuff for sale. It was a true destination. A new experienced every time you went inside. A couple of months ago, they let all of their customers know that they were going to be moving pretty soon. Thus, this move was fully expected. I was truly happy to hear when they opened up this new location. And, of course, I went for their opening weekend. The store, is vastly different from their original location. Located in a strip mall, it's simply a retail structure. There's no great feeling of arrival when you walk inside. It's just there. Don't get me wrong, this store is filled with tons and tons of great items, just like the previous location offered. It's just that it doesn't have the vibe that this store once possessed. Meaning, when you come shopping here, it's a completely different experience. Basically, they have a lot of stuff in cabinets, hanging up, literally all over the place. And, many of their previous sellers have relocated to this new location. So, in terms of shopping, what you will find is similar, though not exact to the previous location. Missing, however, is their whole outdoor industrial area filled with all kinds of stuff, including gigantic business signs and memorabilia. Please be aware, this review is geared towards both the fans of the previous location, and those who have just discovered this shop. Once here, you're gonna find all kinds of stuff. The prices are reasonable. And ,it's one of those location that you truly never know what you will encounter. Making shopping here a great experience. In terms of parking, they have a central lot to the strip mall. So, it shouldn't be too hard to find a spot. In terms of where they're currently located, this is a little bit off the beaten path of Long Beach. As stated, they used to be located just off of PCH, so it was super easy to get to and find. For this new location, you may have to GPS it. This being said, it still remains a great location to find that something you never knew you needed and/or that perfect gift for that person who loves the unusual. read more

I stopped in here after visiting the bookstore next door, and as I mentioned in that review, this place overwhelmed me as well. There was so much packed in here, and zero air flow. Also, most things were locked up so you had to get someone to help you if you were interested in items. Which, I did not see any employees until we left behind the counter by the door. The prices did seem high, however I am not a master of antiques and could be totally wrong. The best part was the popcorn on the way out, that they ask for a 50 cent donation for. We've been here for a week visiting family, and finally had time to explore. We took an Uber from our hotel over to the Long Beach Antique Mall II. What a great antique mall! Not much to look at from the outside, but even from the doorway you can see the cavernous warehouse stuffed with every variety of stuff. It's a perfect place to search for all variety of junktiques. You could easily spend several hours prowling the aisles and climbing stairs to otherwise hidden places. I managed to spot several cat pins, and Meda ended up buying two of them. A sign on the cabinet said the prices on these were fixed, but they were also reasonable! Anyway, she was happy, I was happy to claim credit, and we wish that we had time to return for a second round. Maybe next trip. I would have given this antique mall a 5-star rating except for a background issue. Another reviewer noted that there is no restroom available to customers. Well, that places a limit on how much time can be spent wandering the aisles full of the amazing variety of stuff. It didn't turn out to be an issue for us, but it was something in the back of my mind as we wandered. read more

This place used to be by my house and I would go often. They recently located to East Long Beach and I came during their grand opening to check it out. I like how their new location has plenty of parking. However inside, it was pretty underwhelming. It's a lot smaller compared to their old location, less variety of vendors, and it's giving Goodwill/Salvation Army vibes. They also did not include the outdoor section with all the signs and billboards from their old location to this location. They still have good stuff though and I would come back again if I'm in the area. read more

4.5 stars for this gem of a place. This place is big, not as big as King RIchards in Whittier, but its just the right size. There's an outdoor area that has larger items. I visited during the holidays and they had plenty of holiday items. The first time I visited I felt overwhelmed by the sights. For having tons of antique and vintage items, it doesn't smell! (Old items tend to have an odor that isn't bad but just aged). There's a small section that's basically a balcony. I don't recommend climbing the stairs and walking across it if you're afraid of heights. I appreciate that there isn't price gauging. I believe sellers have areas and price their items. I purchased a small lot of vintage Christmas cards for less than $10 and I know some sellers will sell cards individually for half that. Plenty of enchanting items for the vintage and antique connoisseur. They're kind and helpful, if they see you walking around with items they'll offer to bring it to the front and hold it in the front for you. They'll give you a playing card as your ticket. They have a small parking area but I've always found parking on the street. They also pop fresh popcorn on weekends. Very charming place! read more

We pulled up to the mall today and were greeted by a grumpy man who barked "we're closed!" This was a missed opportunity to say, "hey we are closing the location but we are reopening in another location next month, come see us." But no, rude ass owner can never change his spots, he is always grumpy and I wish the female owner knew just how much he drives people away with his sour attitude. Just stay home if you hate your business so much. Leave it to your nice wife or whoever she is who knows how to treat people, and you stay lodged somewhere in the back with your grumpy self. Better yet just go somewhere else and work nights. Your bad looks and mean temper ruin the whole experience. Even the popcorn is ruined because people have to look at your stupid face. read more

I wavered between 3 and 4 stars for this review. I've been coming here for years and will continue to do so when I can, and I always find at least a few things to love and take home. However, too many booths are priced in a way that things sit for long, long, LONG periods of time. I saw things Black Friday 2024 that I saw Black Friday 2023 (and before). It feels like some sellers just don't want to...sell. Quite a few sections end up feeling like museum exhibits. It doesn't have to be that way. My favorite vintage store in the bay area has a pricing sweet spot. Not rock-bottom, but low enough that things fly out the door and it feels like a whole new space every time I'm there. It's an exciting place to shop. I still like this mall, but it's not as mandatory a stop for me as, say, Magnolia and Willow (also in Long Beach). Service is not super-friendly but not rude either. I've been wanting to visit Long Beach Antique Mall II for a while, and when I finally made it, the place looked impressive at first glance. The layout and variety of vendors definitely showed potential. However, a few things really soured the experience. First off, no restroom for customers. When I asked, the woman behind the counter suggested I walk over a block to use the bathroom at Del Taco. Seriously? I ended up holding it because I didn't feel like sneaking into a fast food place, especially in a neighborhood where I didn't feel safe walking around. On top of that, the prices were surprisingly high, even for the smaller items which I was hoping to score a few of. I came ready to discover a few hidden gems, but left disappointed. Maybe if I hadn't been so distracted by needing a bathroom, I could've enjoyed the visit a little more. Sadly, I can't recommend this place and I will never return. read more

Look, I LIKE this antique store. Lots to look at and I've spent hundreds over the past couple of years. The big "BUT" is that there is nearly no turn over of stock. Visit here and then come back in one year and 99% of the stuff will still be sitting there. I do a lot of antique shopping and every other store I visit have booth clearance sales and the occasional new vendor. I've never see a sale and think I've seen a single new vendor over the last two years. I don't know what is going on in this store. Maybe they don't allow sales. Yes, you should visit this place, but once or twice a year is enough. read more

I used to come here often, specifically for jewelry jars and mystery jewelry bags. Keyword: Jewelry. I was really upset and felt scammed the last time I purchased a large ziplock bag for $70, only to go home and realize the vast majority of the bag was full of plastic Mardi Gras beads & I kid you not, DRESSER KNOBS. To add insult to injury, two of the knobs were broken. It definitely wasn't worth $70 & I know for a fact that the vendor who made the bag knew what they were doing. What a terrific place with some friendly folks on hand to help out. And what a mix of items. I've never seen anything quite like it before. Be sure to look up high and down low to find "stuff". I'd suggest making a journey of the entire place only looking at things seven feet off the ground or more! It would be very helpful if they had some sort of aisle and section numbers. There were four of us, and it was really hard to find if one of the ground found something for others to see. I love this place. It's unique. Strange how it's been here forever, but I just recently discovered it. And now it's my go-to place to just window shop of things gone past. So much to look at. I have to admit, it's a little pricey, especially for "antiques." It's a history museum of people's once owned items that are now for sale. I get a weird vibe when I see the collection of ashtrays and cigarettes, fox furs with the heads attached, Smokey the Bear, oil cans, etc. They have a couple parking spots right in front of the store, but there is plenty of free street parking across the street. read more

I've visited this place a few times and purchased some things I really liked for good prices. Unfortunately, I recently found white supremacist paraphernalia being sold. For those who don't know - antique malls rent booth space to multiple vintage sellers. So while the owners of this business may not personally hold violently racist values themselves, the fact that they let this happen is troubling to say the least. I'm not coming back unless they have policies in place that stop the sale of this kind of stuff. Long Beach has so many other antique malls and vintage stores who don't condone this nonsense. Each stall was very organized and has a variety of unique items. In my opinion each stall had reasonably priced items. The stalls had items ranging from jewelry, magazines, furniture to toys. Lots of eye candy and I'll def be back. Found a large selection of Old Albert country roses! My one complaint is that they will not let you use their restroom. Such rude people. I came in with my partner at 5pm fully acknowledging they closed at 6. As we were heading out to leave and looking at a last few things who I am assuming to be the owner stops us and asks if we just came in, not like he ever acknowledged us to begin with when we did come in. I told him no and that we had just been looking a round for a bit he kinda grunts and says "well we close in a few minutes so" we just nodded and moved along. He very loudly very clearly says to whoever is checking the people at the counter out "these people just came in, this couple" the person at the front groans very loudly saying "oh come on what's wrong can't people read open or closed signs". I would have entirely understood had we seriously come in a few minutes before closing but we didn't and even so no one in customer service should be acting that way. We felt incredibly unwelcome and will not be returning despite us discussing how we wanted to bring our friends here but after that experience it's very unlikely. I know reviews mean nothing but seriously learn to be decent. read more

Cool place to shop for collectibles, antiques and even pinball machines! I highly recommend going there, cool atmosphere and they have hot popcorn to eat. Folks who work there are friendly and helpful. Expect to spend at least an hour there because there's so much to see. read more
