Let me start by saying that the people who gave this business a poor rating were upset because they were having car trouble, and rating this garage poorly made them feel better. This place is awesome, friendly, fast, affordable and clean. My car died, they picked it up with a tow truck FOR FREE, and then had my car fixed and back in my hands two days later, all at a reasonable price. What else could you want from a mechanic? Seriously. Good people here just doing honest work. read more

Me and my dad went to snow garage today 9/11 around 3pm and got nothing but horrible service from the desk lady who was being passive aggressive and didn't let me finish talking. I understand it was busy and might not have the chance for my car to get checked but she could've been friendly. Ive gotten my car inspected here before so its really disappointed how I was treated today for no reason. read more

These guys are fantastic. I took my vehicle to a dealership where they told me I needed an entire new emergency brake cable assembly. Snow's was able to weld a bracket and now it works fine. They saved me a small fortune read more

I've been using them for all of my vehicle maintenance for years and have them to go above and beyon. they've always been honest about the work that was needed, and I was always happy with the work that they did. read more

I've been burned by auto repair shops in the past so I braced myself for the worst but a friend who used to live in the area told me that I should give snows a try because their parents have been going there for over 40 years. I was blown away by how friendly they were. They did the routine tune up and were really honest about the issues the car was having. He told me what work the car would need, but that I'd be all right for a few months. No pressure what so ever. My jaw almost dropped when they told me "You Don't Need Air Filters" ... every garage i've ever gone to tries to upsell you on that. I will be going back. read more

I brought my car to them about three weeks ago and they told me that Monday it would be ready. Then I called and they say no later then next Monday and now it's September 17 and I dropped it off the last week of August. They quoted me $200 then $300 now I just paid $1800 to get my vehicle out this is completely ridiculous and I top of that I never approved the repairs they did I just wanted them to look at my shifter and they had to take it apart . I also explained to them I don't have much money and that I needed my vehicle for work and they could care less like not my problem. I will never ever bring my vehicle to them ever ever again. read more

The only reason I gave 1 star is that it wouldn't let me put in 0! I brought my 2015 Buick Verano in for inspection on 12/17/2018. They gave me a rejection stick, 1 week before Christmas, because the emergency/parking brake (e-brake), would not hold 1,200rpm. I asked them to give me some kind of ball park figure and they told me to bring it in Thursday and they'd be able to do it. I asked, are we talking over $500? He laughed (as in, of course it will be) telling me they had to remove the rear brakes before they could even get to the emergency brake. This has caused an enormous amount of financial stress, recovering from Xmas shopping, trying to have the money to get this done. Snow's is walking distance from my work, but I brought my Buick to a local mechanic over the weekend who showed me that this vehicle has an e-brake, which automatically turns off before 1,200rpm, but when he held the switch he showed me how it held 2,000rpm with no issues. I went back to Snow's today, explained how this works to them, and they said oh, he probably didn't know, and then told me to have a seat in the waiting room. Then came in and told me I was all set. No vacuum, no car wash and no apology. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE at all COSTS. this place is a ripp off. Charged me $60 to remove a tiny screw, and his reasoning was it took 30mins labortime when most of the time the dude was going back and forth looking for "tools" when I insisted he use my titanium drill bit that I had in my tool bag. once he had a bit drilled out with within seconds and he still charged me $60 and laughed and said i told you it was going to be about an hours time.... one hour to drill out a tiny screw?????? Unprofessional scrubs at this place read more

Good honest people charging market rates, taking the time to do it right. When you need automotive services it never happens at a convenient time, and sometimes it is from our neglect on proper maintenance needs, but at least we have Snow's garage to help. I've had several of my trucks worked on there and it's always been a good experience and I had my parents go there independently and they were wonderful to them as well. I haven't even been in there in six months but I still felt compelled to do the review because they earned it. Just good people. It's no wonder they've been around for 100 years. read more

I won't be bringing my car to this garage anymore. They told me one bearing was shot, then they replaced a different one claiming that was defective, and then when I complained that the problem still persisted, they verified that I still have a problem with the original diagnosed bearing. They made zero effort to try and make it right for me. read more

This place is great! They gave me a quote for work on my car, so (as someone who always gets screwed on mechanical work) I called around to compare pricing to this part. Everywhere else I called was charging 4X as much for the part! They also charge me half the price for an oil change that I was getting elsewhere. I fully support this business and will continue with them in the future! Most honest place in Framingham by far! read more

If I had to think of a business I would not send my worst enemy to, Snow's Garage would be it. In addition to their well documented crappy auto-repair service (http://local.yahoo.com/info-10068100-snow-s-garage-framingham), they also have a towing service that is as bent as a corkscrew. If you are parking behind the CVS in the often empty parking lot in downtown Framingham for more then 5 seconds in the shaded area, be sure to move the branches that cover the one sign that says permit parking which is 10 yards above the ground on the light pole. I can not imagine how many people have been snared by this money trap. Because I swear there is a stalker who has the Smitty's on speed dial that is getting a kickback. And when you go to pick up your car, be prepared to be greeted by someone who has a black belt in rudeness and a very surly attitude. He was like a character out of a Bill Murray movie. Then on top of the $100 plus fee they charge you to collect, they have a storage fee of $20 a day. What struck me was the depraved indifference that was displayed, like they were laughing at you. And when you complain, be careful that the guy does not accuse you of making a threat when you are just expressing yourself. If I could just stop this place from doing this kind of stuff to another person. my faith in the world would be restored. Never go to this place for anything. read more

This place has just worked wonders on my truck! They have just done a horrible job on my Chevy... Forums reckoned it was a $1200 job! These guys have done it for half that!! Cant recommend them enough... They work hard, and know their stuff. No frills, get the job done attitude. read more

I've been going to Snow's Garage for years. They have been absolutely the best I've been to. They service my companies fleet of vehicles so I have quite a bit of experience with them. Their rates are very competitive, and the people couldn't be any nicer. No one likes to have to put money into their vehicles for repair...if they say you need it, you definitely need it. These people are as honest as it gets. Snow's has such a big following because they are as great as they are. read more

Awful service. My car had broken down and required a tow, this garage was the closest that could help (less than a mile from the location of my car). After calling, I was informed it would take an hour and a half to come get me and my car. I waited over two hours in my car before calling Snow's Garage back questioning if they were still coming. I was told "oh yes, he's right down the street and will be there in 15 minutes". Another 45 minutes went by and still no tow truck. I called back for a second time and was told "Oh, don't worry he'll be there in 15 minutes". After voicing my frustration with the dispatcher and explaining how I had been sitting in my broken down car for over 3 hours her response was "I don't know what to tell ya, cancel your tow and go somewhere else." HORRIBLE service and nasty employees. After a bad situation with my car, the last thing I needed was to be treated like that by a company supposedly coming to my aid. My recommendation, go somewhere else if you don't want to be sitting on the side of the road 3+ hours for no reason. read more

I went to Snow's last weekend to have some routine work done on my Jeep Wrangler (oil change, inspection, tire alignment, etc.). As a woman, I sometimes find it hard to not feel taken advantage of just because I can't talk under the hood speak so I walk in with hesitation always. In a nutshell, I love these guys! The customer service was excellent, the cost was better than expected, the garage is clean, the work was done quickly and to my satisfaction, and it is run by really fantastic people. I highly recommend Snows for all of your auto-related work. read more

Awful job poor lack of customer service from Casey the owner...who took no blame and called me saying hey Come pick up your fucking car.Broke my door and refused to fix it.Along with the crappy work that i was overcharged for.Drove 2 miles away bf check engine light and other problems that never where started. No other thing to say but BEWARE and ill see them in court read more

this used to be a great place when the father ran it, now it is the biggest rip off around. i called when i broke down in a snow storm and waited six hours for them to tow me, after six hours on the side of the road and making twelve calls i called aaa and they were their in twenty minutes. snows was supposed to tow my vehicle back to thier garage the next day but they forgot and didn't get to it for almost a week. my vehicle broke down a week after they fixed it and i was charged $65 to diagnose it. when they fixed it again it broke down again, they ruined it so bad i bought a new vehicle and will never go back. they charge more than the dealers and will not stand behind their mistakes they also took my change out my glove box. read more
