I came because I wanted to do work at a coffee shop, and when I searched coffee shop on Yelp, this came up, but it's really not. They serve coffee, and they do have lattes/matcha lattes on the menu, but they're awful. The matcha latte was chalky and gross. I couldn't even drink it. And the place smells kinda funny. It seems like it could be a good working environment, if you can get past the smell. I couldn't, so I had to leave. But it's quiet and not super busy, so there's that. read more

Saw this place on Yelp and was excited to go from the pictures. Very mislead. The coffee was good, I got a Coconut Mocha. The images showed a wide variety of buns and breads and there were only 5 options. We were also under the impression they were homemade..disappointed again. Some seem to be, as they are wrapped in a "Snow Bean" wrapper. The red bean buns, which is why I came, were frozen and thawed out, from a brand you can find at any asian market. The selection of food and desserts was overall underwhelming, compared to what we saw on Yelp. That being said there is a Sushi place connected to Snow Bean, that has good reviews, but you cannot bring their food inside, you can go sit in the sushi side of the restaurant. Didn't try the shaved ice but even the selection there was less than what is online. A cool aspect of this place is the entire time we were there working, a Zelda remix playlist was playing. read more

Cute place! The interior has a really nice cafe atmosphere great for studying. They also have common korean convenience store snacks for sale (which are a bit overpriced). When I went I ordered 2 teas which were fine. I'm not too big of a fan of the drinks, but I have yet to try their shaved ice which I will definitely come back for next time I visit! Really cute coffee spot that's right next to Izziban Sushi and BBQ. I had trouble finding it at first because I didn't see that it was connected to Izziban and hidden in the corner. This place is a hidden gem a lot of students and business people come here to do work or study late nights since it's only of the only coffee spots in the semoran area that's open until 2AM most days. They have shaved ice dessert, coffee, lattes, tea, cute little international snacks, and more. There are tables outside if you want some fresh air and it's by a lake. They also sell locks inside and you can buy one and attach your lock to the fence outside by the lake as a nice memoriam. I really enjoyed SnowBean! read more

SnowBean is the only Korean coffeeshop in Orlando so far. It serves authentic snowflake bingsoo, korean coffee drinks, and some additional korean snacks and baked goods. What's great about this place is the waterfront view. You can enjoy their coffee while enjoying the waterfront. This was a completely random Stop for me when I had a sweet tooth. It was in the vicinity so I stopped in. It was a little tricky to find and there aren't any signs along the road. Come to find out it was located in Izziban. When you walk in you are hit right in the nose with the smell of sweet delicious baked goods. There is a showcase of delectable from cheese cakes to cookies. The menu features a variety of dessert drinks made with a milky shaved ice and coffees. I was expecting to see some tea assortments but sadly they didn't. I opted for the mango cheesecake iced milk. It was interesting. It was loaded with cheesecake pieces and mango on top of the "snow". I'm not really sure it's something I would get again. I found the texture weird and I'd rather have a milkshake. One thing that I found weird was when I asked for the price of a tire cheesecake , nobody new and looked at me like o was crazy. I thought it would have been a perfect family dessert for the holidays. However one they decided they would charge whatever the cost was per piece, $6, for the whole cake I declined. No where in Orlando can you find Asian/Korean desserts like this place (bingsoo is sooooo good here), on top of your regular american coffee/lattes and they even have their own cold brew! This is a heaven for STUDENTS or anyone needing a chill study spot where they can stay for hours, slowly sip their drink and get shit DONE! (I'm not sure why this is so hard to find around) The seats are super comfortable, they have outlets everywhere and staff is also really helpful The decor is so cute and they ALSO have an outdoor patio which overlooks the water (WHAT more can you ask for?) I ordered strawberry shaved ice. It's actually pretty good. The ice is so smooth and it melts right away in your mouth unlike some shaved ice that you can bite. It's mixed with strawberries, corn flakes cereal, and condensed milk. Pretty simple and can make at home. They also added two pocky but the pocky tasted stale. That's why I'm giving it a 4/5 stars. Otherwise.. Everything else is good. We were gonna ordered honey dew dessert. Half of a small honey dew but the price is Crazy. Cute spot next to Izziban on Colonial. I was craving some sweet breads but was too late to make it to my usual bakery and SnowBean came up on my search with mixed reviews. It was closer to 10 pm so I expected my choices to be limited. Apparently choices were limited to begin with, as they don't have that many breads anyways. I did grab three- a mocha bun, coffee bun and a milk bread. My total was almost 10$, which I found to be really overpriced. The other bakery I frequent, I usually end up paying around the same price for 6-7 baked goods. The actual buns and breads were nothing to rave about- I found them to be mostly dry and without any outstanding flavors. Definitely not worth the price. I will be sticking to my usual bakery. SnowBean does have other sweets- drinks and fancier baked goods which I did not try, and might be a better representation of their brand. Overall, I would think it's more of a dessert after dinner - once in a while type of place. read more

To start of I'm not a huge fan of shaved ice, I believe it's a texture thing. With that being said the place was actually pretty good. All the ingredients that they use are delicious. I've tried 2 from the menu so far and it has not steered me wrong yet. The atmosphere is very hipster which is super cute. There is a lake in the back which is very relaxing and nice to have on a hot day while enjoying your cold cup of shaved ice. My one tip is to have them add condensed milk on the top of the ice along with the bottom. They only add the condensed milk to the bottom which doesn't make any sense to me. (5/20/2017) Perfect way to cap off an enormous AUCE KBBQ/shabu shabu meat meal next door at Izziban. SnowBean is the sister cafe serving Korean desserts right next door, with adjoining outdoor deck overlooking Lake Barton and the Orlando Executive Airport runway. We were taking some sunset photos on the deck, the very nice young man working in SnowBean offered to take photos for us. He must know what it's like to be out with family in the era of smartphones with cameras. Tried the "SnowBean," a shaved ice parfait with bean flour (mung), mochi bits, and cereal with added red bean, harkens back to the day, like Taiwanese-style. Also, had the "Waffle Bee," crumbled waffle cookies and sweetened condensed milk shaved ice parfait. They've got some fancy, shiny chrome ice machine (no hand-cranks here) and the ice is light and fluffy and ethereal. The cups were chock-full of stuff, we were quite overwhelmed, but it was perfect for taking our time, lingering on the deck and enjoying the cool breeze at sunset. read more

If this place were in NYC, L.A., San Francisco, or any other major city in the U.S. with a very large Asian population, I would give it five stars. However, this is not Sul and Beans, this is not Koreatown, this is East Colonial Drive in Orlando. Florida's Mecca for great Asian food and also home to Florida's only Little Vietnam and Chinatown, however, I'll proceed to my point. The green tea patbingsu was delicious and refreshing and it had lots of green tea flavor. The cornflakes, mochi, and condensed milk gave it an interesting, but delicious twist. Snowbean is reminiscent of the hipster U.S. west coast Asian dessert cafes and it also has a sleek ambiance with a mix of Orlando hipster vibes mixed with we are not in the touristy part of Orlando and proud of it vibes. The location is great, there is a deck on the lake with seating that offers great views. However, the location is hidden. You have to make sure you're in the right lane on colonial eastbound and turn where there is a sign for Izziban Sushi and BBQ because Snowbean has no signage. Overall, Snowbean is truly a glorious hidden gem in Orlando especially in a state where Asian dessert cafes have menus consisting of watery boba tea with grainy boba and chalk like rolled ice cream. read more

This was a cool little addition to the Izziban restaurant. The decor was very nice and cozy and welcoming. The selection of baked goods was nice and very different than the tradition Chinese bakeries I frequent, they have a lot of different Korean pastries. But they lacked I feel in the drink choices think it was only a few teas but I'm sure it will expand. I got a chestnut tart and overall it was ok, reminded me of a mooncake. I'll definitely hit this place up again after gorging at the Korean BBQ, I definitely made room for the sweets in there. I really want to come back and try their shaved ice and a couple more pastries. There was a fair amount of seats and a nice little outside veranda. I also really enjoyed that SnowBean is open as long as Izziban so you can get your fix even late in the morning. read more

We ordered the honey dew shaved ice and snow bean shaved ice. The honey dew was actually a cantaloupe, which would've been fine but it was very small and barely sweet. The whole shaved ice consisted of mostly frosted cornflakes and maybe 1/3 cup of shaved ice, mochi bits, 6-8 cantaloupe balls with less than a spoonful red beans. It was very disappointing especially since it was close to $17 just for the honey dew shaved ice. The snow bean shaved ice was basically the same thing except just cornflakes mochi and ice.
